Comfy, clean, bright, great staff, GREAT location. Many of the rooms have views of the Tokyo Sky Tree for an extra big city feel! My room was extremely comfortable and surprisingly one of the biggest I've stayed in for the price I paid. I love the touches like the little pocket beside the bed with USB and plugs to put your phone or smartwatch dock. The amenities are incredible: in-building laundry, kitchen, downstairs lounge with eating table and couches, TV, tea and coffee, miso soup. The location is INCREDIBLE - just steps away is a discount 24 hour supermarket (Big A). You can also choose between all 3 konbini chains, and the Lawson is a Lawson 100 (konbini + 100 yen shop). I bought a screwdriver set there in the middle of the night to fix my laptop seriously having one nearby is amazing. Direct trains to Shibuya, Shinagawa, Narita Airport. Easy to access everywhere else. By the way the lounge is a great meeting space and I met some incredible people here.

The staff are really accommodating and helpful. We were able to check in earlier with no additional charge since the room is ready. The room and the toilet is really clean. What I really appreciated was that it was really quiet during our whole stay. I also appreciate that they make sure that all bathroom and toilet supplies are always replenished. The water pressure is very good considering that we stayed in the 5th floor. It was nice that there’s free coffee, tea, and miso soup. It’s only a short walk (less than 2 minutes) from Exit B1 of Oshiage Station. There’s kitchen utensils that you can use in the common room. There’s also laptops that you can use. We had a great stay. We got a very cheap private room but it exceeded all our expectations.

The best hotel I stayed in Tokyo”
Perfect location because Oshiage Station exit B1 is just a few meters away, alongside 7-11 and Family Mart, and of course, Tokyo Skytree! Airport is directly accessible from the Oshiage Station. Shower room and washlets for each floor is good, complete with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Only concern is that the sink has no hot water, so it was quite a nightmare to brush my teeth during winter. Wifi was strong and reliable. Friendly and helpful staff. Ground floor kitchen, dining and laundry area is nice. Very clean facilities and surroundings. I will stay here again in my next visit to Tokyo.

the hostel is just a minutes' walk from the oshiage station making. The room is small but tidy with a window facing to the skytree. The staff there were very kind and helpful. they could provid detailed information when asked. the communal place is new, clean and functional. you could do laundry on the first floor. I have a great time in this hostel and I will definitely choose it again the next time I travel in kyoto.

I would rate oakhostel 10/10 especially the cleanliness on their shower/toilet room also their common area. Staff are nice and very approachable. The location is excellent especially if your airport is to/from narita airport. Just a few minutes walk to the nearest metro train

Very clean hostel, nice staff, great facilities. Loved the lounge&kitchen area, with plenty of space/seats and free tea, coffee and miso soup. Plus it's next to Skytree, I could even see it from my dorm window.

Good value for your money in such a convenient location. The only issue is a lack of power outlet in the room. The TV is also not working. Other than that, the stay is smoothy and happy.

Reasonable price, perfect location. I stay single room, hair dryer already prepared and room facing tokyo skytree. Better than other hotel i think. Must stay here next time when i visit tokyo again

Very good location, near train lines! Very clean! Hotel will let you borrow chargers, hair iron, extension cords and many more. They have coin laundry! Even though we have shared bathrooms, it was well maintained, very clean!!!

Room and restrooms were clean. Staff were friendly and approachable. Location is a bit of a walk from the subway although is very near to one exit. Overall I loved my stay.

Great location with enough space ”
Our stay was great and we loved it. The only issue was the air-conditioning since we can't make it cooler as our room was sharing the same unit/system with the other rooms. They chose to warm up their rooms so we can't make ours cooler. It was so much warmer than what we would've liked.

2 mins walking distance of Subway. 5-7 min walking to Tokyo Skytree. Rooms were not so spacious but well managed. Washrooms are clean & hygienic. Overall worth spending your small hard earn money.
