Fantastic hotel. Brilliant all round experience. ”
Literally across the road from Nara station. Could not be better located for both public transport and walking to temples, Nara Park, Naramachi and a host of museums, shops and restaurants. Our room was warm and comfortable, with everything we could need: kettle, hairdryer, usb sockets, tv, pyjama sets, towels and a huge array of toiletries. The onsen was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. There’s indoor and outdoor onsen, plus sauna. The washing areas were well equipped, as were the dressing areas. The cleanliness of the whole place is truly exceptional. We didn’t get a chance to try the free ramen, but we did appreciate the free tea & coffee facilities in the dining area. The only negative I can think of is that there was no vegetarian alternative to the ramen on offer, but this didn’t spoil our overall enjoyment of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Easy, Great Location and Fantastic Facilities”
Sometimes a title just says all you need to know. Room was facing station and never heard a thing. Location (when you are manually lugging your luggage) was a Godsend. 90m from front of Kyoto Station. WiFi was good, baths great (including the gear to wear down), FREE washing machine and cheap dryer was a bonus, and room was comfortable (queen bed). Staff were helpful and spoke OK English. Can’t comment on restaurant as didn’t use.

Really authentic ”
Nice Japanese feel to this hotel which is not something you would get in any chain brands. Very nice Onsen & restaurant area with ice packs available for them hot sweaty days !! The only issue we had was there was lots of screaming children running around the Onsen area. & been a man who is naked I just felt a little uncomfortable with that. Not the hotels fault but I would appreciate a little bit more control on what goes on inside the Onsen ! The free soba noodles & iced chocolate was delicious

Friendly staff and pleasant stay”
The hotel is just right next to Nara JR station name (奈良駅) and attractions of 福興寺 and 奈良公園 is within walking distance. There are 藥妝店 just 5 mins away from the hotel too. Compliment ramen are served between 9pm to 11pm, with a range of free flow drinks (self-served) hot cocoa is highly recommended 😋. Amenities are provided at the hot spring too included facial wash. Guests with tattoo r suggested to use bandage to cover the patterns before entering the hot spring😉. Washing machine r free of charge for guest uses and clothes dryer charges is ¥100 for 20mins. The room is rather small but I guess it is normal in Japan, I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and will definitely visit again in the future.

Spacious!”
Very spacious room with spacious toilet, which is quite rare in Japan (at least for this price range). Had a good night’s sleep because the bed was big and comfy. Note that if you want to drive, park at the carpark near it (it’s cheaper) rather than park at the hotel itself. When I went, the carpark they had was full anyway. Also, no shoes were allowed in the hotel so it was a bit troublesome to take off the shoes and carry it with all the luggage we had cos the entire hotel was carpeted with tatami. My family enjoyed the hot springs as it was our last night in Japan :) Also, take note that they offer free ramen from a certain time till 11pm, otherwise you can redeem free cup noodles from the front desk.

2020 Family vacation at Nara, Kobe, Kyoto & Osaka”
This is voted as THE best hotel during our 8D7N 2020 family vacation. The Onsen is great. The semi Ryokan room is fantastic and clean. The complimentary Ramen supper and the morning breakfast is fabulous. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Even recommended a nearby much cheaper parking for us to decide if we wish to continue to park within the hotel...

Excellent location ”
It’s across street to JR Nara station. Only draw back is some of the room esp 2nd floor is right next to train. We got a queen bed and slept comfortably with 2pp. Breakfast are good but after 2nd day it gets tired. It has a supermarket 10steps across street. We were lucky we pump into a festival do a lot if food and it’s 5min walk to the busy store with festival.

Good value ”
The hotel was clean, amenities plentiful. The price was good, especially for the location. The ONLY things that weren't great were that 1.) The kettle included in the room was beat up, scratched, dusty, and dirty. The room itself seemed clean otherwise . And 2.) amount of people in the onsen (this is unavoidable and probably fine for many people, but if you were thinking you can go be by yourself you're wrong.)

The best hotel I've stayed at in Japan”
This place is absolutely awesome! Everything has been thought of, making your stay seamless and comfortable. The hot spring is one of the best I've visited in Japan, which I used every morning and night. Also appreciated the free ramen, which was a nice touch!

The location is the best which just outside the JR station East Exit. The have the best onsen with the nice staffs. Hotel is super clean and they provide the free Ramen in the night. I will stay there for the next trip to Rana.

Cut above the usual Dormy Inn”
very nice Dormy Inn hotel, small but spotlessly clean room with single queen bed. Hotel and rooms are hybrid tatami and Western style decor. Tasteful and well equipped. Very nice indoor/outdoor onsen, several relaxation areas, smoking rooms, a laundromat. Signature free noodles at 9-11pm. Very nice staff

Very comfy and impressive”
If you looking for a place near by JR and central here is the best choice. However if you expect some kind of huge room please see info. of the room first before you book for me it’s not small but wasn’t big but it still good. Other recommend is Breakfast. This is the best breakfast I’ve seen, so many choice of local foods and ingredients ready to serve. You can have as much as you want they’re all taste amazing!

Excellent hotel and staffs in Nara”
Excellent hotel and staffs in Nara, highly recommend! We have been stay in this hotel five times; we love the Japanese style but modern hotel. Staffs are very nice and helpful; if you are going to Nara, it will be the number one hotel you wanna choose without regraded. 🍜 noodles between 2130-2300 is free and good taste, location is excellent wherever you take JR or Bus, just right to the hotel.

The hotel is centrally located and is packed with amenities like onsen and services like free ramen. The use of tatami on every floor where guests walk without their external footwear also makes the place alot cleaner and simple. Overall good stay!

Awesome Onsen Hotel, best location.”
Convenient location, clean hotel. Free coffee, tea from 3pm and free Ramen in the restaurant at 9pm-11pm was a nice bonus. Love the onsen, we might come back next trip with friends. Staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Kawasaki.

Great hotel, love it !”
Stayed here during Covid-19 (my hometown) thus extreme value for money! Just across JR NARA station (be aware, many tourist attractions are near KINTETSU NARA station, not JR), with a hot spring spa, w free late night noodle, nice room (we had a cozy twin room - enough space for two) and great breakfast. Staff are really nice particularly Mike Kawasaki - reservation, reception staff. We want to return soon. Three issues for improvement:1) breakfast end 9:30 and really crowded 8:00-9:00. Please extend the hours till 10:00 to spread people. 2) parking was full when we arrived 4:00PM. 3) you need to bring socks or own new slippers as the hotel is not outside shoes policy (either socks or barefoot - or disposable slippers -which we fell not comfortable not safe.

Great location, great environment, really friendly and helpful staff! Hot spring is amazing, I also love the free noodle, the massage chair, and the vending machine. The staffs are so friendly and helpful, even helped me make a phone call for an appointment as I can’t speak Japanese. Really enjoyed this for our honeymoon. Already rebooked for Christmas to go with my hubby and in-laws.

NO view”
Our room faces the wall of another hotel. So be sure to ask for a room with a decent view. Small rooms, but the best part about this hotel is the distance from the Nara JR station, the beautiful onsen and the free supper (ramen). Will stay there again if given a chance but certainly will ask for a room with a view. (note, pillows are tiny and flat. Most japs pillows are like that anyway)

Excellent stay, deserves 4 stars”
We chose Onyado Nono because of the hot springs and we were not disappointed. One night at Onyado was way too short. It was an amazing stay with lovely, hospitable staff. The double room was comfortable with a very large bed. All room facilities were top class. The hot springs were lush. We also enjoyed the extra things like the massage chairs and free drinks/soba. The location is also very good for those traveling with JR - right next to the station. We traveled using local trains to Kintetsu Nara so it's a bit further away but connected by a short bus ride. Overall, a truly excellent stay and I almost want to go back to Nara just to stay at the hotel again!
