Brilliant stay”
Absolutely wonderful stay at Peppers. Room was small but very comfortable and was more than adequate. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay great. Wonderful views of Lake Tekapo and had a stunning dinner in the restaurant. The food and service was amazing. Very good breakfast also. Only disappointing thing was we only booked one night as we were short of time. Would love to return soon for a longer stay

Lovely view of Lake Tekapo”
Pepper Bluewater is aptly named if you get a lake-front unit like the one we get. We get a unit that was facing Lake Tekapo and the view is lovely. It is next to the interstate although the vehicle noise is not significant to disrupt rest. The view it self makes it worth it. The property is lovely and very nicely designed. We love this as much as Peppers Clearwater up at Christchurch. This is developing to be our favourite brand in NZ! However, do note check if there is any units that are wheelchair access. We had to lug bags up a narrow flight of stairs and we noticed that the level one units also requires a flight of stairs down from the carpark. Carpark is free but appears to be limited. We were lucky to get one very close to our unit. Others may have to park a walk a short distance.

A night in tekapo”
We booked this hotel as we had very few options for a night stay that week! However, it was better than expected. Staff that welcomed us was great & friendly. Checking in was a breeze. We arrived after sun down from a crazy trek at hooker valley ( we underestimated thick snow trek). When we arrived, it was about 8pm and famished! Thank god the reception gave us in room dining menu (probably saw my tired face from the night drive). In room dining food prices were ok and the delivery to our room was fast! The parking was conveniently right in front of our room. The room was already with the heater on which really helps!! It kept us warm thru the night. Bed was big and room is spacious to place 2 big luggages. The toilet is also huge with a tub & warm... warm.. tiles. Overall its a 10/10 from us! Thank you!

Helpful and Caring staffs”
Room is clean, facilities / kitchen tools are great. During my stay, I was injured and sent to Hospital in Timaru (2-hour drive). When I was discharged from the hospital, I was basically stuck at Timaru because there is no direct transportation back to Tekapo. Hotel Front Office Manager was helpful and managed to arrange a pickup car (charged ofcoz.) for us from Timaru to Tekapo. Really appreciate the help.

The room I booked was a Hotel room, but I think it was upgraded. Fully equiped modern kitchen, comfortable bed, room with lake view, warm toilet fittings, cosy living room. Only regreat was staying here for a night ! Will sure be back again.

Stayed at 2 bedroom unit. Was given the best room with overlooking Lake Tekapo. The unit is double storey, where the bedrooms are at the ground floor, and the kitchen and living room is at 1st floor. Value for money via agoda booking and will consider this unit again in the future. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very near to Lake Tekapo. The room is clean but quite small. The bed is comfy. Guests need to check in at reception first, then drive & park in front of their rooms.

Stayed only one night here mid September, and was very satisfied with everything! there’s plenty of open car park near the rooms, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze. The standard room we booked wasn’t very big, but it was good enough. Very clean and absolutely love the heated floor and the heater installed in the toilet! Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to lake tekapo!

Our best accomodation for the entire trip”
Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Price is on the steeper side but rooms are new, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are modern, clean and spacious. Location is superb and walking distance to shops. Our children are still talking about this place after the trip. The lake view units are the the best.
