I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of a few issues we had, but I can see it would appeal to others who are looking to stay on a budget and are happy to walk to or pay for a taxi to Petra. We chose it for the price and because their website advised a free shuttle to Petra. We were instantly disappointed because on arrival we learnt there was no shuttle. It is a 30 min walk downhill there and a steep uphill back which wasn't ideal after an 8-hour day walking. The owner denied there was information about a free shuttle anywhere. Had we known, we would have booked closer to the gate. We didn't have towels when we checked in so they said they would bring them after they were laundered. Hours went by so we asked again and they still needed to be cleaned. Hours later again we asked and then received damp ones. We paid for the group dinner on the rooftop. There was a lot of water on the floor and for some reason the staff dishing food brought everyone their meat, except us.

Budget hotel for undemanding clients”

Cheap and OK for those who just want to survive the night in tolerable conditions. Very modest, needs renovation, bathroom lacks heating and air-conditioning. Basic breakfast for 3.5 JOD. Nice rooftop with great nightview.

Great stay”

We enjoyed our stay. Hot showers, bed was comfortable, amazing view. Dinner was great and staff was friendly.

*helpful,accomodating and welcoming staff *clean room *boiled eggs, cheese and coffee for breakfast are the best ❤️ (Just what we needed most before the whole day activity in Petra) and more to choose from. *Even give us a ride going to Petra *Nice location. It’s near everything we need. It was a very good stay. Thank you!😊

Nice and cheap base to Petra”

The nicest owner ever, hotel offers a breakfast, dinners and lunchboxes. Room was clean and spacious. It's 20 minutes walk to down the hill to Petra, it's not the closest one you can find, but the cheaper in all town. If you don't like to walk, you can take a taxi, there are lots of them like everywhere in Jordan :)

Comfortable, but not much else”

Small room but bed shower toilet is all u need. Booked with agoda which included free breakfast, but after breakfast at check out, hotel insist i must pay for breakfast cos its not free even though confirmation with agoda said it was free. Prepare for a decent 15 min walk to petra and a 25 min hill climb back. Recommend u shud catch taxi back for 2 dinars or less instead.

・地球の歩き方にも書かれているが遺跡散策用にランチを用意してくれるが、期待しないほうが良い。ヨルダンのお弁当事情を垣間見る勉強のつもり頼むのならアリかも知れないが、合理性を追求するのなら、自分で準備したほうが良い。　・ディナーは安く、ブッフェなのでたくさん食べたい方にはオススメだがおいしくはない。　・宿仕切りのツアーがあり、シェアすると安くなるからと、人数を集めてくれるのは嬉しいが、会うたびに声を掛けられるのはめんどくさい。　・現地のレベルを考えればきれいだが、日本ではないことを十分理解しておくこと。

貧乏旅行でペトラに行った時に使いました。ホテルの部屋の内容は正直褒められたものではありませんが、金額を考えると不満はありませんでした。むしろ、スタッフが大変親切で、ペトラに関する情報を沢山教えてくれました。ホテルからペトラまで歩いてみましたが、結構かかりましたので、タクシーを使われた方が良いかと思います。

部屋は値段相応、ペトラ遺跡に徒歩で行けるのが良し”

狭い部屋でしたが、ペトラ近辺は物価が高いようなので、値段相応なのかなと思いました。 朝食も夕食も毎日同じメニューでしたが、ビュッフェ形式で気楽でした。 お湯もちゃんと出たし、夜はちゃんと暖房が効いていて、ぐっすり眠れました。 朝5時にアザーンがよく聞こえるので、毎日早起きでしたが、ペトラ遺跡も早くからopenしているし、朝は空いているので、かえってよかったかもしれません。 次はワディ・ラムに行く予定と言っていたのですが、ツアーは町で予約してしまいました。 そうしたら出発の前の晩に、ホテルのドライバーさんに、ここで頼んだほうが安かったのに！とかなり機嫌を損ねられてしまいました。もっと早く言って欲しかったです。
