Otroligt litet rum, svårt med säng som var hög ,( min man trillade ner när han skulle upp på toaletten på natten). Man fick kliva över den andra för att komma in till sin sängplats eller gå av sängen.. Vi är ett äldre par så det var inte lämpligt för oss. Toaletten mini, när man duschade så blev hela golvet flytande. Bara en kunde sitta i rummet. Bra och god frukost, trevlig matplats.

Hotellet ligger mitt i smeten av Amsterdam och är helt okej om man bara vill ha ett rum i stan. Frukosten va ingen alls bra överraskning, liten matsal och väldigt dålig frukost. Skulle inte säga att hotellet är värt pengarna!

Slitet, ofräscht dubbelrum med plats för en person att röra sig åt gången. 120 cm säng, dubbelsäng? Badrummet under all kritik. Vi bytte rum efter en natt, det var det sämsta trestjärniga hotell vi stött på. Kände oss lurade sv bilderna!

Everything perfect. But the staff were Europe-cold”
On my second time in Amsterdam, I chose Quentin as my hotel. The place was perfect as it was close to many things —in fact, it was close to a lot of beautiful things. Everything was perfect! Except for the staff, some of them were Europe-cold. I don’t know, but I think coldness was among the things taught to them in their hotel management lessons. Surely, Quentin could do more. The staff could do more. A smile and a warm greetings could go a long way. I would, however, stay in Quentin again. And I am recommending. Overall, I am giving it a 7 our of 10 (with 1 as the lowest and 10 the highest).

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for a graduation trip. It is conveniently located near to the museums, tram stops, and many restaurants, yet away from noise. Restroom was quite small. Great staff, and neat interior.

Excellent location for transport, restaurants, museums and theatres”
Though a little shabby and in need of better lighting in the corridors and an update, we enjoyed our stay here hugely. The beds were comfortable, the price reasonable, the breakfast excellent, and the staff (with one exception) most helpful and demonstrating the usual Dutch warmth and hospitality. We would recommend it and stay there again.

For the price you can't beat the location. We were there to see a concert that was a 2 minute walk away and very close to great restaurant options and museums. Also close to a main tram stop so the entire city is easily accessible. If you don't plan on spending much time in your hotel room (which you shouldn't) while you're in Amsterdam, this is the place for you.

First & foremost, the hotel entrance is after a steep flight of very narrow wooden stairs. Imagine pulling up your heavy luggages up those stairs whilst carefully minding your steps as you carry your young toddler in a carrier. No, there arent any ramps. No sound insulation. I can hear others guests returning to their rooms at 1am or later, after Xmas party and likewise, they can hear my child wailing in the morning for milk as they try to get some sleep. Discovered a heap of dust under our bed, rather unsightly and our room wasnt vaccumed at all for the 4 nights! The horror. The thing that bothered me most was the shower! The heater suddenly turns scorching hot then freezing cold without us adjusting the knob. Not very safe to leave my kids to shower themselves, afraid that the water might scald them. Room was equipped with a great heater, though since the temperature outside was at 0°C. The heater was very essential. Wifi signal was crazily poor! It goes on & off, making me feel like we are just off the dial-up internet connection phase.. Location was fantastic, on a side note. Just 2mins walk from the tram stop, a supermarket located just opposite the road and you can pratically walk to the amazing shopping district! Love the neighbourhood, not the hotel.

Firstly, Amsterdam central hotels are expensive. However, we should have paid more for a better room in this excellent location.

You wont get your sleep...”
The hotel was extremely noisy, and in addition the linen delivery is in the middle of the night = we hardly got any sleep. Also the Front desk staff was mostly arrogant and pretentious, only the Cleaning Staff were friendly and hard working. The place was spotless, however outdated and very different in design (we switched rooms). Please be aware the stairs inside, and to the entrance of the hotel is extremly steep why someone with leg/hip problems would have a serious issue (especially during winter/ice on steps). I am not sure I would stay here again, I can't decide if I got what I paid for... In general I was disappointed, since I have stayed in cheaper hotels with "higher standards".
