Fancy comfortable hotel”
I have no complains on this hotel. Its situated middle of tourist attraction. The hotel has 24hrs room service. Very fancy room deco. I really hv to appreciate the owners effort to make me feel home as they hv everything tat u will need. The breakfast had a few selections. Initially just wanted to enjoy just 1 day on the fancy room deco but I extended another day in that hotel. I have to mention about the staffs, they were extremely friendly and helpful which includes their security too.

Super nice staff makes this a great place to stay”
Pros -The staff especially Namrata who played with our three year old and always was so friendly. They security men were great. The young ladies who worked at the front desk and who delivered room service were excellent - proximity to Thamel and lots of stores and good restaurants especially Rickshaw Cafe. - funky rooms and lighting and big stuffed animals were a big plus for our 3 year old. - breakfast included is always a pro. - the restaurant food was very good. Cons - water is yellow. Hard to justify having a big huge tube if the water is going to be yellow and smelly. - it isn't an American level of quality for a 3-4 star hotel. - internet sucks. Actually it less than sucks.

Fun and quirky ”
This was a great hotel. I loved all the fun details- you could tell the owner has a great sense of humor and likes to have fun. I highly recommend it. The staff is excellent and helpful, especially the sweet security guards. If you have selected the option that includes breakfast, you can choose what time you have breakfast, even at midnight ... in your room! There’s no hotel like it. Great value for the money and great location.

This hotel is in a great location. Still in Thamel, but not loud. It's very colorful, and I like the decor. The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. I was able to order the free breakfast to my room at 4 in the morning. That was super helpful because I was going on an early morning, sunrise hike

Really easy to sort trekking etc from close by up to base camp etc. Quirky place but quite cool with good attentive staff. Just remember it is Kathmandu so watch your expectations and be realistic. This is good 😎🤙🏾

This stay facility has been splendid for me as I was with my family. My kids were fascinated to find a lovely room with almost all facilities at reasonable price. We had great time in Kathmandu.

Really enjoyed this place really up to standard is clean comfortable and fun! Loved the leopard toy he became my pal. Amenities were so nice like the bath (after a long trek) it felt lux but was super cheap for what you get.

I really enjoyed staying at Royal Penguin Hotel. After a long and stressful flight, it was nice to be welcomed by the welcome drink. I loved the idea that the breakfast was served all day around and the staff was very helpful. They helped me to find the taxi. The room was very spacious and well-decorated.

Surprising accommodation centrally located”
Our initial arrival at 3am left us a little worried purely because we couldn’t clearly see our surroundings and the streets were busy with revellers a little worse for wear. The next day we quickly realised that the location and accommodation on offer was fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. This is an ideal hotel that enables you to reach all of the tourist locations with ease.
