Great place to stay”
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff tried to explain to us in English which is really rare in Japan. We can understand Japanese just fine but it was good to see that they made an effort to speak in the language we are most comfortable in. It would be nice if the drink bar can last a little longer, or also provide a couple bags of drip coffee in the room. We enjoyed the green tea provided in the room but I would really like to have coffee in my room in the morning as well. The public bath was amazing and the stone sauna was heavenly. It was my first time and I thought it would be like a regular sauna but it was much more enjoyable and easier to breathe in there, especially when you get a spot to lay down. Would come again hands down.

Brand new, close to station, good design with spa”
駅近、ホテルの全体デザインが良くて、テラスも最高、朝ごはんは思ったより種類が多く最高！静かで良く眠れました。 The reason I picked this hotel is because it has spa and sauna. The hotel lobby, entrance and almost every corner is nicely designed. Love the outdoor terrace but is closed from 17 for diners. Room is compact can fit 2 single bed. Breakfast is superb and more variety than I expected.

Nice interior, good design, room amenities, drinks, good breakfast spread-- overall really nice new hotel. Small space and tiny table --cramped workspace if you want to get some work done (we had a twin room). But well-thought of layout. Each room has a humidifier, hair dryer, multipurpose cable for charging phones too! Loved the breakfast buffet-- particularly the fresh salad and fruits!

Comfortable new hotel”
Great new hotel. Very modern & clean. Bath and sauna are awesome & best part of this hotel. I also enjoyed the quality breakfast, there is a buffet and you also receive a set (Japanese food but also western option is available). I liked a universal charger in the room. Location is very near the Kyoto station, which is basically across the street.

Superb hotel”
The bathroom is large in proportion to the room size. The public bath facility, free drinks and terrace are very nice. Breakfast buffet is not just a normal hotel breakfast, food has variety and presented very well! Very affordable too because fo GoTo travel. The location is also very good which is only 2minute walk from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, you can see the hotel as soon as you go out of the train station.

New Hotel, Great location”
Hotel recently opened early 2020. Location is just a street's cross away from the main Kyoto station which is great. As someone who's travelled to Kyoto several times I still do prefer this as it grants me access to most of the sights without worry Amenities are very new. Very clean, very helpful staff. There's also a convenience store at front and tons of restaurants around near the station. Recommended

Nice hotel only a few minute walk to Kyoto Station. The room was clean with big bathroom. Buffet breakfast was amazing and there is free drinks (no alcohol) from lunch time. The spa area is lovely and the staff is friendly. Just be prepared most of them do not speak English.

Super near to Kyoto station”
Incredibly near to Kyoto station, Royal Twin Hotel is perfect for who wishes travel outside Kyoto. The room I stayed in was small but clean and comfortable. I love the green tea sample free to use in the room, one of the best tea I have ever had.

Comfortable and clean”
Both the service and room were very good. The location is close to the station and a PiPPA rental bike stand. I enjoyed the different baths but was surprised by how many guests were using them at 10:30 pm. Also, was glad it was a buffet style breakfast with a nice variety of juices and coffee. Still, because of the friendly service, location and comfortable room would not hesitate to stay again.

Cleaning room, friendly staff, located in a convenient position (close to the station and some famous places). I can say for sure it’s worth the price. However, if they add some western foods to the menu breakfast, that would be awesome for those who don’t like japanese food so much like us.

Great hotel in a great location”
The hotel was situated 5 mins outside the Kyoto station. There is a public bath downstairs and free drinks during the afternoon. It is a great hotel especially if you are out to do sightseeing and won’t spend too much in the hotel room as the room is a little small. However the staff are friendly and helpful.

Room was smaller than expected, but their public bath was great. They had an outdoor onsen which was the best during cold temperatures. You might find the public baths constantly crowded though. There is a sauna at the ladies onsen area too. I really appreciated the coin laundry available since i travelled for quite a long duration. Location was great. They also provided free beverages till 11pm everyday. The hotel breakfast was decent and their dessert was the highlight for me.
