The best service & hotel you could ask for ”
I don’t know where to start with this amazing place, with the best staff! Upon arrival we had a representative waiting for us, he was extremely polite and explained everything to us - where to change money, where to buy a SIM card from, etc and then pushed our trolley with our massive suitcases to the van which drove us to the hotel. Upon arrival another staff member picked up our suitcases, there was a welcome drink and smiley faces. The room was extremely clean, cooled and the fridge and mini bar were filled. The hotel has a great location, the service, I can’t talk enough about - spot on!! The food in the hotel is SUPER delicious and average priced. We are elsewhere and it was terrible, but everything we have had from the hotel’s restaurant was top quality. All the staff and especially the manager made sure we feel welcomed, they helped us with organising us a PCR test, contacting our resort, organising taxis and a transfer back to the airport and we can’t thank them enough. Words can’t express how pleased we are to have stayed there and meet the people we have met. The hotel is 1000% worth it and we would have loved to stay there more. We are at our resort at the moment around 50miles from Malé, with everything super expensive and the horrible service we are receiving just makes us wish we were back at Samann Grand We will be coming back on the way back to England and will stay again at Samann Grand just so that we can taste local culture, beautifully cooked delicious and fresh food, and the warmth and kindness all the staff from the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Philippines have blessed us with upon our first stay. Amazing team at Saman Grand. From the momemnt we arrived at Airport till our departure recieved absolutely great hospitality with consistency in delivering exceptional service. Amazing room, well maintained cleanliness, delicious food at the restaurant. Highlight was, every staff greeted us with genuine care and smile in every interaction. Would highly recommend Saman Grand. Became my favorite hotel in Male’ city.

We stayed here one night before flying out. The room is comfortable, clean, comfortable, good wi-fi. I liked the restaurant on the 11th floor of the hotel, it was nice to receive a compliment. Extremely courteous staff. Guests are received with a very warm welcome. Staff is justifiably proud to be working at this hotel and eager to be helpful. Comfortable rooms for a city hotel. Attractive decor and attention to detail in foyer, rooms and restaurant. Exceptional food prepared by a talented chef who took the time to chat about his passion. We wished we had more days there to try out other menu items. Transfer from airport and for hotel speedboat efficient - all details were taken care of by staff. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Male.

Easy Overnight Stay at the Samann”
We arrived very late to Male, and that meant we couldn't go straight to our island resort. We opted to stay for one night at the Samann Grand. It's just over the bridge from Velana Airport, took 10 minutes to get there via transfer. The Samann Grand team organised all the transfers to and from the airport, and liaised with our resort to ensure we got to the airport the next morning in time for our seaplane. It was very smooth and very easy. We were very grateful. Our room wasn't gigantic, but it was clean and well set up. We had a restful sleep, until 5am when the Call to Prayer woke us up. That didn't bother us however, it was a beautiful thing to wake up - the biggest mosque was virtually next door and our balcony looked straight over Male. Too excited about our Maldives holiday to be bothered about being woken up early. Breakfast was basic, but perfectly acceptable buffet spread for a small hotel. We were very happy with our overnight stay and thank you very much to the team. We appreciate you taking care of all the little details for us!

Friendly staffs, clean modern room, good breakfast ”
This hotel is quite new and clean, good decorated. All staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Ms Mani, who is super nice. Driving from the airport takes only 10-15 minutes. Before our flight, We contacted the hotel to arrange the pick-up service, and the hotel always replied very quickly. We really had good rest at that night. Highly Recommended!

Clean and modern hotel in Malé within walking distance of all the city’s main sights. Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed and staff were wonderful. There’s also a nice restaurant with a rooftop terrace. No alcohol served here which I believe isn’t available anywhere in Malé.

spent 1 night. Free transfer from airport. very efficient staff. Welcome drink. Tommy is very nice & comfortable, modern design. we loved it. Morning staff, we left at 6:30 am and staff prepared for us a "To go" box for breakfast. Very nice of them! We will return!

Stayed for one night before departing for our seaplane in the morning. Hotel immaculate and room lovely. Staff spoke to the seaplane company for us and organised our departure time as well. Transferred us to the airport and handed us over to the Siyam world rep. We also ate in the restaurant and this was lovely and great value for money. If you are in need of a hotel before or after a stay in one of the islands I would highly recommend this.

Very good Stay!!”
We only stayed one night as a stopover as we left The Maldives, but we enjoyed our stay at the Samann Grand. It was very clean with comfortable beds and a very helpful staff. They even opened for breakfast 15 minutes early to allow us to eat and still make our flight.

Still new looking 11 store hotel (built in 2018). Room was clean and very nice, large enough for 2. Beautiful brown and beige colors dominate the room and overall hotel impression. 10 minutes from the airport, complimentary shuttle bus with personal service at the airport. Very convenient. Restaurant on the 10th floor with nice view on the water/harbour. Roof top also with view over city and sea. Extremely friendly staff. Downsides: built next to a mosque. So around 5 am the muezzin is calling for the prayers. The hotel is offering complimentary ear buds in the room. Very thoughtful! You also can use them anytime because the rooms are very noisy. You here the other guests from the floor. But besides that, still a nice hotel to stay before you move onto your resort island the next day. I would come again.

Perfect transit hotel in Male”
What can I say, 5/5 service all around. The hotel picked us up from Male airport for an overnight stay before going to our resort the next day via seaplane. The staff, room, hotel and location are all amazing. Highly recommend to anyone needing a stay before or after their resort stay in Male and flying the next day. The on premises restaurant is also great and they have a great breakfast buffet. Great, modern rooms and highly recommend!

Samman Hotel is a very nicely decorated hotel located 10 min from the airport. The staff is lovely, will come pick you up in a van to take you to the hotel and will also arrange the transfer to your resort. They are very professional and well organised. Hotel is located next to the Mosque, walking distance to all historic and cultural attractions in Male. The view on the ocean and Mosque from the room/balcony and from the hotel restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Food in the hotel restaurant is great. Hotel arranges transfer to/from the airport which is very convenient.

The best hotel in Male.”
I love everything about this hotel. The rooms are spotless. The staff is helpful and polite. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and the food is good and reasonable. Of all the hotels I have stayed at this is my favorite hotel in Male. They will also store your excess luggage in case you are going on a seaplane and your baggage weight is limited. This hotel is also close to the airport and gives you free airport transfers!
