Stunning hotel room view!”
As someone visiting Luang Prabang for the first time, my experience of staying two nights at Santi Resort was very memorable. I enjoyed the view from my room facing the mountain and the fresh morning air. Walking around the resort area was also very enjoyable. I repeatedly took my cell phone to take pictures of the beautiful scenery around the resort. The service at the restaurant was also outstanding. The waiter is attentive to detail. She knew from my booking on Agoda that I don't eat pork and explained what other foods I could eat. The front office staff was also very prompt in helping lend me a computer mouse because I forgot to bring my computer mouse at that time. The resort also provides a shuttle car, making it easier for me to go to the Mekong River area or the airport. I will definitely come back again with my family. Thank you very much for the excellent service during my stay!

Santi Resort is our favourite place to come and relax in Luang Prabang. While it is a little out of town, the views over the mountains and farms more than makes up for the short drive. Highly recommended

It used to be such a nice hotel...”
I stayed in this hotel 4 times. It used to be such a nice hotel - it has an amazing scenes (trees, ponds, etc.) and cozy rooms- however services keep declining. This time we observed that some comfy leather sun beds that used to be around the pool very removed; hotel closes its reception and gate at night (we were not informed, luckily we got rooms keys); we order food and repeated several times that it should come without onion (we have a allergy) - it still came with the onion; supplies like shampoo, etc. were provided for one persons -we had to ask 2 times to bring for two of us, in the morning cleaners spoke very loudly and kept trying to open our room door (despite the fact it was locked); very week internet. I hope the hotel management could look into these issues as the hotel is really beautiful and i would like to keep recommending to my colleagues and friends.

The hotel is what I was looking for, a peaceful place with a, beautiful garden. Unluckily the second morning at 7.30 out of my door the housekeepers were really loud, and it woke me up.... not exactly the best when you look for peace and relax. I’m on a wheelchair, and even if in the description i found “ wheelchair accessible “ I found steps to access at the swimming pool and at the breakfast area.

Complete lack of professionalism and respect”
My wife and I were travelling to Laos with our young children and looking forward to our stay at the Santi. We had a last minute serious emergency and needed to change travel plans. All attemps to contact the hotel went completed unanswered and they charged for full stay with no contact with us. A complete lack of professionalism and respect I would have expected from a cheap roadside motel, much less a relatively expensive resort. A real shame.

Fantastic hotel ”
We had a fabulous 11 days at Santi resort and spa , it was exactly what we all needed it was peaceful, great pool , great food and friendly welcoming staff. On arrival the manager upgraded our rooms to Junior suites and arranged our airport transfer as complimentary trip all in all a lovely stay & if we ever pass this way again I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Resort takes up a beautiful swath of land surrounded by hills and fields; grounds are palatial and well-maintained; plenty of room to walk the property and admire ponds, paths and gazebos; pool area standard but nice; spa also standard but calm and open; best part is the aesthetic of worn-in colonial architecture, open spaces, antique touches, high ceilings, charming tile and plenty of dark teakwood finishing throughout, including doors, shutters and moldings. Love the details!

While in Laos, I became sick. The manager of the resort took me (along with my partner) to the local doctor. He was able to help translate and ensure I received medical care. Very nice people! Highly recommend.

The resort is magic, the sprawling grounds beautifully landscaped with ponds and gurgling creeks as well as lots of little hidden gazebos to look out over the grounds and adjoining fields, relax, read a book or watch the sunset between 2 mountains on the other side of the Mekong. The mattress is like a cloud, you may not want to get out of bed. And the food is delicious, served by very friendly and competent staff. When you turn right at the resort entry, you leave the village after about a 5 minute walk and enter ‘rural’ Laos. Go for a walk up the hill and enjoy the scenery.

Breakfast has good food. They have local noodles, bread, pancake etc. After breakfast you can walk around the resort. Very beautiful lotus pond with mountain and field view as a background. A peaceful place. You can go in town by free shuttle bus.

The resort is well laid out, with beautiful grounds. The pool was refreshing with a manned bar. The only downfall was the older wooden pool surround so Waite you wear flip flops to the pool. Staff were very professional. The property is a bit out of town but the hotel has a shuttle that runs to Luang Prabang. We would recommend this hotel.
