Great location, right by Angel Road”
The view from our room is simply breath taking, unobstructed, right on the waters of the Angel Road. You get to observe the water level rising and lowering and observe the crowd. We watched from our room window and benefited from visiting when we see less visitors at the site. The bed is also very comfortable. The onsen is right next to the waters and has a good view of the angel road. Food was excellent and fresh, staff have a good handle on english and some speak mandarin.

Nice dinner at Miami facing the pool and Angel Road ( excellent staffs too)! Offer free coffee and Popsicle Breakfast with lots of varieties, would be better if breakfast ends at 9:30am ( door were closed at 8:30am)

Great views and convenient hotel”
Great views and convenient hotel! My room can see the full Angel Road, sunset and sun raise! Also ordered a birthday cake in advance and cake cutting after dinner at the restaurant. The cake look great and tasty and I received a birthday gift from the hotel as well!

I am traveling with my mom . The hotel is close to the sea and the Angel Road is within walking distance. The dinner is not fancy but the flavor is good, worth a try.

Nice location”
The only plus of this hotel for us was that it is located right next to Angel Road. The view from the room is fantastic, as all rooms face the sea. The rooms however are in much need of renovation and lack a balcony, which is a big inconvenient considering one has to dry out the towels after using the pool/onsen. The bathroom is very small and there was a very bad sewage smell coming from there. Beds are large enough, though. Also rooms have very thin walls and every morning we were woken up before 7 am by the loud voices of the other guests on the corridor and in the room upstairs from us. There are 3 pools, a long one which is only 1m deep so a bit difficult to swim in, a shorter one (3m depth) with a trampoline and a very small one for babies. Bus stops for 'Olive Bus' are conveniently located opposite the hotel. Transportation on the island is best by car, as there are only few public bus connections. Pool closes at 18h00, which was earlier than we expected and also not convenient. No good beach nearby; although the hotel offers transportation to Kashima Beach, we did not find it useful, as that beach is not good for swimming. Olive Beach is much nicer, but also farther away and there is no hotel shuttle to that part of the island (25 min by bus). Shuttle bus to and from Tonosho port was convenient.

Superb”
I stayed at the Twin room, which provides another main area in the room which can accomodate 4 people in total. My first ryokan experience. Very close to Angel road which has access from the building. Breakfast spread was delicious, they have handmade onigiri on order as well as fresh somen. Onsen is just good enough, there are two which I only got to try one of them. For a better onsen experience, I recommend to try the nearby Olive Onsen. Laundry is also free as well however there are only two washers and dryers to share with the entire building though i did not have issue with any queues. Shop is well supplied. They offer free shuttle to and from the hotel to Tonosho Port, however this required reservation (online or in-hotel). Staff are friendly and courteous. They can speak simple English. One minor comment would be that the room amenities are scarce (no soap in bathroom -just use the onsen, no cutlery, and a travel map might help as well)

The best location and beautiful scene”
The most famous spot - The road of angel was just opposite to our room if you were like us to live at this hotel. The scene of sea and beach was also very good. Recommend you be here if you want to come here for vacation !

Hotel is near Angel’s Road. You can go there whenever the tides go down. The hotel and facilities are a bit old. The spa is disappointing. The meals provided are brilliant. The staff can speak certain extent of English and they are all helpful. Overall, satisfactory experience.

onsen is great. and there is a pathway leading to the view. you can have coffee or a drink with the beautiful sunset. I'd love to stay there again.

Designer room is not designed well”
The room size is originally large. However, the Japanese style tatami area has over occupied and narrowed the corridor space. Besides, my head was hurt by the corner of a decorated backdrop behind the bed when I try to switch on the lighting over there. Services was good. Dinner was good too! Nice view!

Picked this hotel because of its proximity to the famous Angel Road and of course, the sea view. Weather was not to my favour and it was raining every day and night during my stay. But the view was nonetheless unforgettably beautiful. The guestroom as one could expect for places like this was huge and spacious. Traditional ryokan style with tatami area. Onsen was OK but a bit run-down; hope there would be renovation soon. Breakfast was standard Japanese / Western buffet style. Not bad but not impressive either; I could do with some good onigiri in the nearby convenient store. Staff were very polite and courteous. They replied to my emails promptly too. Overall, a nice relaxing stay.
