Vi hade önskat om ett rum högre upp redan i jan när vi beställde vårt superior rum, de sa att de inte kunde lova men skulle göra allt de kunde. När vi kom dit så va det kaotiskt med resväskor överallt och de gav oss rum på 1 vån, jag ifrågasatte men han sa att alla ville bo högre upp men lovade att vi skulle få byta rum nästa dag, rummet slitet, handukshållare trasig och vi sa att vi packar inte upp då vi skulle få byta nästa dag men gud vad vi bedrog oss, nä de hade inget rum för oss men sa att det skulle ordna sig nästa dag....jag skrev ett klagomål som jag tycker var rätt och nästa dag fick vi byta och receptionen sa att chefen inte var glad. Vi glömde ett par fina in-ear lurar vid det snabba bytet och när vi dagen efter frågade så hade de inte hittat några ( bara borta 600 kr) ja vad kunde vi göra. Det rum vi fick var riktigt fint och det kändes riktigt bra. Vi var tvungna att åka tidigt och frågade om vi kunde äta frukost lite tidigare än 7:30 som de öppnade på men det gick inte.

Centralt läge och lätt att hitta”
När vi anlände till hotellet ca kl 17, var vårt förbetalda rum uthyrt och hotellet var fullbelagt. De letade upp ett annat hotell till oss, som inte låg i närheten som vi först blev lovade,de ordnade taxi till oss. När vi kom tillbaka dagen efter fick vi ett annat familjerum än det vi hade blivit lovade som var utan balkong. Vi fick tjata oss till kompensation, vilket blev gratis frukost för en dag. Sängarna var hårda, duschen hade dåligt tryck. Frukosten var medelmåtta med tanke på priset. Gratis wifi som innebar att vi var tvungna att checka in via Facebook flera gånger per dag, gratis reklam för hotell samt fritt fram för tjuvarna i Sverige.

Perfekt läge”
Fantastiskt läge på detta hotell, nära till allt och väljer man ett rum med havsutsikt får man en härlig vy över hamnen och Valetta. Ganska enkla rum men rent och fräscht. Trevlig personal.

The best view”
I am late in giving this review, as I stayed here in Nov-19, but its never too late to give this hotel a perfect 10. Let me start with the staff, this is one of the most attentive staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The view from the balcony is definitely worth a stay here as you can see the harbor and Valleta. Location is also outstanding, with the ferry just a short walk across the street, and also plenty of restaurants to chose from Thank you for hosting us

Fabulous, clean and friendly hotel right next to the capital, Valletta”
We needed to be in Valletta for a concert for 2 nights. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly as it's literally just across the harbour (which is a beautiful sight). A couple of minutes walk from the hotel to the ferry and then the crossing takes 4-5 minutes. All for around £1.50 each way. Fantastic. We'd never been to Malta before and after a lovely week, we'll definitely go back. It's such a beautiful country with hardly any crime and very friendly people. We used the buses to get around (something we never do in the UK) All felt very safe even after midnight and £20 for a week's rover style ticket. I've never been big on paying extra for a room with a view so we booked a cheaper room with no view. However, everything else was the same. Nice and clean, comfy bed, good shower, fresh towels and room service every day. Complimentary toiletries, hairdryer and good air con. I never booked breakfast in advance but we tried it the first morning then had breakfast here every day!

No complaints, more than adequate and great staff”
I booked the Marine for an overnight visit to Malta for its location to Sliema - Valletta ferry (about 200m) and its very reasonable room rate. Added bonus was a bus stop (Ferries 3) next to Sliema - Valleta ferry and I was able to get a direct bus (TD2) to the airport the following morning (about 15mins). The room (111) was more than adequate and clean. It was actually a family room (?) and had two single beds and huge double bed. The room had a TV although limited choice of channels. The room also had coffee making facilities. The en-suite was also more than adequate. One plus point I would award the Marine would be for the staff. The few times I used reception the staff were extremely helpful and of a cheery manner, and I was made to feel welcome. My room was at rear of property but there are a large number of rooms at the front of hotel and these would have incredible view across harbour to Valletta.

Great location and value for money”
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Malta over the last number of years and would have to say the Silema Marina is one of best located for shops, eating out and touring. We had booked a superior sea view room , which was spacious although basic - no drawers for clothes, just a small single wardrobe for clothes. There was a jacuzzi on rooftop but a minimal amount of sunbeds - 7 in total. That said, whilst we were there it wasn’t too busy most of time. . The staff were all fabulous though and couldn’t do enough for residents - from the cleaners, maintenance staff and reception staff. If you want a value for money hotel in a great location I would recommend staying here!

Amazing location!”
I booked the hotel without realizing how CONVENIENT the location was. Firstly, I was the first to drop off for the airport transfer €5 one way or €10 2 ways. Secondly, the hotel is just right in front of the ferry terminal to Vallenta & has the terminal station for the hop on off bus. Nice! I had the amazing Harbour view room which is worth every €. Florin was a great help too. Her English is perfect :) However, the room is a bit dated and WiFi always gets disconnected but the room is clean and big coz I booked the Harbour view room. I peeked into the single room beside mine and it was tiny 😅 Hope this helps for fellow travelers!

the view from the window of my room was awful ”
very conveniently located, nice enough place, hot hot shower.Unfortunately, the view of my room window was dirty pipes. Room was nicely decorated but dark, needed light on even during the day. The lift takes only two people per ride and no floor sign inside while riding, super slow too. Makes you anxious inside.

No value for money room 204”
I Got a room 204 with no Windows but with a limb for a dark and narrow look with no light, asked for another room bur I had to pay EUR 35 extra which I declined. Futheremore there is no fire staircase in the Building, and the ordinary staircase is not good in case of fire

Adequate at best”
Thought I’d booked a room with a double bed but was given a room with a single bed. After 1 night changed to a room with a double bed but it had no external window so was more like a prison cell. Eventually upgraded to a room at the front with a balcony which was fine. The bathrooms are very outdated, there is no bar or communal space for meeting other people. Only the rooms with balconies at the front of the hotel are suitable really as the others have little or no natural light. Location is great, staff were excellent and the room was spotlessly cleaned everyday but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Not worthy even for this price”
There were many things wrong with this place, and staff tried to forcefully enter our apartment twice while we were there but I will get to that later. First was the beds - they don't have double beds as they write on the site. They have two single beds joint together. If you travel fairly often, you know it's not the same thing. Next, it was the toilet which made the cracking noises about once per hour. It lasted 60 seconds more or less and it was like someone was drilling walls in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was old and barely bearable. Then, it was breakfast which were awful, in the room with no AC on the eighth floor of the building in full sun. It was a disaster. Finally, there was the staff - people wanted to enter our room twice while we are there and we don't know why. First attempt woke us up at 4 AM! I needed to yell at the guy from my bed to back off. We couldn't get back to sleep after that. When we finally did, there was a second attempt at 9 AM. I just heard "Oh my god!" when someone opened our doors and they quickly closed it. What the hell? Overall, I will not return, even though this place has some potential to be nice, but for us, it was totally ruined.

Very Disappointing”
I booked a room according to the picture shown at Agoda as room details. The room was a seaview with balcony and a seating area/couch and king size bed. What I got was a room without any view, not even a window. The hotel was not able or willing to provide any other room.
