Well worth 9hrs”
First try, good for that short refuge from a long day of work after 10pm check-in, & a respite from home with 7am checkout that is just nice to prep for next day of work.. Small room but fully equipped w shower and toilet ensuite.. water can be procured on your own via their co-sharing kitchenette on level 6. Despite the bad reviews from previous clients due to the hassle of the online check-in with no face to face interaction, I decided to give this a try. On the contrary I quite like the little to no contact with the usual hotel guest service officer especially during covid times like now. And that there absolutely no need to queue, which is what we usually experience at most hotels during peak check-in time.. The app was fuss free, you could ask questions in the app, check in and out easily.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.

Checking was a hassle. I will not check in to the hotel again. Checking in have to be via an apps and it is so inconvenient. We checked in to a room of a broken AC and dirty room. I dont understand why do they have staff on duty but we have to check in via an apps.

I gave two stars. One star was for the young chinese male staff (the only night staff). He was extremely helpful. The other star for location. Can hear the running water that was flowing thru the pipe when the guest next door shower. It was loud. The room rate is high considering that i was only there for 8 hours. Had to deposit $80 on top of the room rate.

Pros: Location at Beach Road is great. In-room amenities looks relatively new (as of now). Love the idea of using fair trade products for their toiletries. Cons: As of 3 March 2020, check-in and check-out timing was not indicated at point of booking thru Agoda. Since this is a non-refundable booking, we have no choice but to proceed with it upon knowing it’s only from 9pm to 6am. Fix the chat-in app please. It's slow as well as it's customer service. Since the hotel practices self-check-in lots of improvement can be done. Slow response is one of them. Hanged/Lagging app is another problem. It took us close to 25 mins to check in. Toothbrush & toothpaste was not included as part of the toiletries.

WiFi was not connecting at all Toilet a bit mouldy and foul smell. Desk was dusty. Paint near window peeling. Heater not working, water turn cold halfway through the shower

Feel suffocated in the room after few hours. All the noise outside can be heard loudly. Even the sound of shower and faucet from adjacent room. Deposit refund was not reasonable, took so long to refund, 21 days.

For instances like this as a reversal, you might want to check with the bank on their process for credit card authorisation. It will not be in your bank statement as no amount is deducted from the bank if you have yet to make the credit card payment. The transaction is likely be removed from the list of bank transaction history once released so you can check the transaction statement on your check-in date.
