Great deal”
We traveled through Hong Kong during the height of the coronavirus, and chose the Emperor because it was new, and figured the ventilation would be super clean and everything in tip top shape. The staff were great and definitely put our minds at ease- everyone in masks, temperature checks, cleaning staff everywhere constantly. The room was very small, typical for Hong Kong, but super nice. We had a great open view, and the bed was extremely comfy! (I want to know where they get their linens, because I was seriously tempted to swipe those sheets!!) Water pressure was great, but on the high floor, took some time to heat up. We were not given any shampoo/conditioner, so had to go out and buy our own. The breakfast was good, but because of the coronavirus situation, no buffet (had to order from a small set menu every day), and not much variety. 2/f roof cafe is so lovely! This was an unbelievable value for money (350/day including breakfast for 2! unheard of in HK!), and will be back.

StayCation at the Emperor”
Due to Covid 19 I had to swap a planned surgery in Bangkok to Hong Kong. I decided that rather that stay at home I would recuperate at the Emperor. From the moment I walked in I was always greeted by extremely helpful and polite staff. Sanny in particular has done everything possible to make my stay as comfortable and painless as possible. I have taken a corner room which is perfect size for me for my 4 to 6 week staycation. Thanks to the staff at the Emperor and the facilities here, I know I will have a successful recuperation from my surgery. Thanks so much Sanny Chan and your staff

Getting to the hotel from Causeway Bay station - can take 8minutes or 12 minutes. It all depends on which way you take. Anyway it was always a nice short walk. From Causeway Bay station, you can go everywhere. Very convenient by MTR. Front desk employees were very welcoming and always there Tommy to help when needed.So many food choices around Causeway Bay are plenty. Hotel also provides complimentary bottled water. Also had in-room safe and free wifi for us to use.(although the wifi is not easy to use) But We will definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. It was situated just off the main drag in Wan Chai. Very clean and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. The room wasn't super tiny, I would say average size for Hong Kong. The lighting in the room was beautiful, great bathroom with a nice mirror and the shower was also very nice. The bed and pillows were also quite comfortable. I felt like I was staying in a more upscale hotel for sure. When I return to Hong Kong this will be my first pick without a doubt!

Friendly and efficient staff”
Thumbs up for the room service staff who not only tried to call and also check personally if I wanted the room to clean. Moreover, I have left some items in the room and the staff was sharp enough to pass it to the reception. Receptionists were also helpful in catering for late check up and luggage storage. Price wise was definitely affordable at the quieter side of Wanchai/CWB.

Modern clean & well maintained”
Regular visitor to HK (6x per year) First time at this hotel, and very impressed although slightly out of the way (by HK standards meaning there is no 7eleven right next door ) but literally only an extra 5 mins walk to MTR. Super easy for catching buses and taxis due to location. Helpful friendly staff. Great gym with modern equipment, water & towels. Breakfast has something to suit everyone, and they make great poached eggs if requested. Bed was comfy, room was a great size, shower was excellent, and the lifts are fast! Overall highly recommended. Only negative would be lack of space for clothes when staying for more than a couple of nights, and yoga mats could do with replacing in the gym as they are a little tatty and losing their rubber, but these are small points. Would highly recommend this hotel & will definitely return..

Being staying at the Emperor few times and the hotel provides clean, comfortable room at a reasonable prices. The staff is welcoming and always helpful. The gym facilities are clean and the restaurants are good. To recommend for a weekend escape or long term stay.

Great value”
Great location, very friendly, kind and helpful staff. Nice breakfast selection including hot and cold dishes, was looking forward to breakfast everyday since there was something new to try. Overall its a great stay, however it could be a little cleaner, it seems clean to the eye but its actually pretty dusty. Also there were little flies in the room all over the bed wall, I didn't understand where they came from, since windows are not openable. But no matter that - I would still stay here again. The location is superb, metro and Hong Kong fair centre are extremely close, also a lot of food places, money exchange places within 7 minute walk. But I do hope they take this situation with flies into consideration, wasn't nice to wake up with quite a bunch of them on your pillow.

Prices were great and we really enjoyed our time. Close enough to walk to Central and enjoy all the fun. Breakfast was ok - not outstanding, but good enough. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Very comfortable!

Elegant and comfortable hotel”
The hotel is located on the quieter part of Wanchai, a few minutes walk to busy Wanchai Steeet and Hennesy Road, and a short walk to Times Square and the Causeway Bay shopping scene. A17 the bus that goes to the airport passes by the hotel, and so are buses that go to Central and Northpoint (cross the street). I loved my room and its big bay windows. I sat by the window that looked out towards the hills and the winding roads. Watching the traffic below while the sun set was therapeutic. The staff were polite, helpful and very professional. Breakfast was excellent. I booked dinner throught eatigo.com and received a discount.

Modern Interiors, Surrounded by Great Restaurants”
The modern, minimalist interior makes full use of the small space. While it may seem like a small room, it has everything you need - toilet and bath, small fridge, TV, hair dryer, phone/bluetooth speaker, and power/usb ports on each bedside. It's easy to get around on foot to try different restos in the Wan Chai area. It's within close proximity to bus stops and MTR, tram stations.

This hotel had very good rooms the staff were delightful and very helpful. The free kick up service from the Airport Express was a great way to arrive. Also a good breakfast was included in the price.

Loved being 5-10 mins walk to Wanchai to Causeway Bay. Gym facilities were limited but excellent, appreciating the bottled water and towels. Buffet was as expected, mix of local & western, no so easy for vegan but generally good. Staff helpful & consistent every time I have stayed (4 times) room very clean and with enough light. Somewhere to put my clothes for when I'm in town 7 days plus would be ideal but overall a good choice of place.

Unexpectedly spacious room in space-limited Hong Kong”
The room was unexpectedly spacious and well-designed for its price and comfortable for a 5 days stay. However, the location was slightly far away from the 2 nearest MTR stations (Wanchai and Causeway Bay) and it was quite a challenge to drag our luggages to the hotel from the MTR stations. A plus point would be the complimentary breakfast provided which had a decent spread. Overall, a satisfactory hotel to stay.
