Old property ”

It's old property. It's a big complex with pool, bar.Nice with well architecture But everything is old. TV has max Indian channels. Well planned but tiny WC. Staff was supportive.

Nice room”

We like the room, but the bathroom gets wet allover after every shower. Also they run out of water one time. Front desk seems disorganized. Breakfast could be improved as well. They have a good head waitress and service at breakfast was outstanding.

Best Resort in Pokhara”

Clean , nice design and quiet. And quiet. Good bed and nice staff. Great swimming pool. Food just 1 min walk to main street. The only one worth to recommend in Pokhara!

Great Hotel”

Great Hotel to chill and relax before and after trekks. The breakfast was very nice. The room was very clean and neat. The staff were very attentive as well. I'd recommend to book a room on the upper floor that have great views of the mountains when the weather is clear. Also the upper floor rooms are more spacious and private.

Disappointing”

So many problems with the a/c at the hottest time of year, very disappointing breakfast and the restaurant staff were surly and seemed unable to,get anything right!

Location is good, but the rest is so-so... ”

I was advised by a friend to book rooms in newer wings, so I did booking for more expensive deluxe rooms. But when we reached the hotel, it turned out those rooms were too small especially because we wanted to use an extra bed. The staff suggested switching to the older cottage rooms, which were more spacious with enough number/size of beds for our whole family. The rooms were okay, but quite old and basic. No back-up electricity. And when we tried to take a shower/bath, the water was either too hot or too cold, and water pressure was too weak for shower. I just don't feel that this hotel is worth the money we paid, probably we can find better places for the same price. I will not go back there again.

Excellent. A great hotel”

Excellent. Great heating, hot water and super well kept and clean. After a few weeks in guest houses and dire so called hotel on the lake a real hotel was required. It hit the stop. A little out of town but not a major issue if you dont mind a 10 min walk. Very impressed. Staff great too.

A breath of fresh air”

It was great! We were a small group of 3 who had met travelling in other countries. The young lady on reception who greeted us was so genuinely excited to see us and was very accommodating in finding out information about the paragliding that we wanted to do as our time was limited. When I wanted to change my flight, the manager tried to help and everyone we met at the hotel did their best to make sure we were looked after. It was a wonderful place to stay. The only reason I rated the location as a 4 was because we walked into the main area everyday and commented that next time we might try to stay right in the town area, but otherwise Lakeside Retreat was a good choice.
