Room was spacious and the hotel and room were styled beautifully. The restaurant downstairs was excellent too. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

Really nice, boutique style hotel. We upgraded to a larger room for a small price which was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of Parliament building. The staff were friendly and helpful and the stay was very enjoyable

Great location, close to the canal, Parliament and shopping. Clean, modern rooms and the water dispenser in the lobby with lemons was a refreshing touch.

Good location for traveller”
Good location with walking distance to everywhere. Using Aveda products as toiletries is a plus. The room is quite small but it's fine with us since the king bed is comfotable. There is an empty bottle of wine that left by the previous guest that hasn't been cleared up. Staff are nice and friendly.

Fantastic city hotel for a weekend getaway! ”
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo Ottawa Downtown, it is definitely a 4 start hotel. The hotel room is big and very clean. The best part is that it is right in Ottawa downtown so very accessible to restaurants and bars.

Staff was very nice and helpful, we came late so we could do late checking. We found hotel parking far with several stairs so if you have heavier luggage it's better to leave it at the reception. We wanted to use the pool and jacuzzi but it was closed due to maintenance

overall great but the weekend desk staff was confused by our agoda booking. we ended waiting for a long time and still now sure if they have dinged our visa multiple times.

Adequate hotel for business”
The bed was hard an uncomfortable, room was dark, but the bathroom was spacious and really well done. Tried to have breakfast at the restaurant, but the waiter took and then ignored our order. So I can't say how the food tasted because I left. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There are better places to stay in Ottawa.

Lovely interior and spacious”
Entering into the hotel, there were no bellboy on service as they had only hired minimal staff to perform duties. Thus, at the time of arrival there was no such service being provided. The greetings at the reception was friendly and the staff which checked me provided excellent customer service which includes suggesting to put me on a lower level (initially the room ready was on the 4th) where I could get strong free wifi connection. Housekeeping staff was friendly when being asked directions to drugstores. However, as mentioned before minimal staff was hired, housekeeping staff only stays at the hotel till 3-4 and any housekeeping service thereafter is not available. Despite of that, request of towels, bath items are widely available even with the absence of housekeeping staff which was absolutely pleasant. On the last day of leaving, I believe the front desk was not so friendly in terms of storing of luggage with her body language of disgust which was the only negative vibe I've gotten so far throughout my stay. However, this was being compensated by the bellboy's excellent service!

Great location and great value for money”
i stayed at this hotel during the tulip festival. very close to parliament hill, the mall, byward market, other attractions. all we did was walk around, we didn't have to take any public transportation. hotel was very clean and well maintained. i would go back here for my next visit. i read from other reviews that the hotel cafe/restaurant isn't any good so we didn't bother to try it out. staff was friendly but housekeeping was kind of off. we were in our room when housekeeping tried to barge in our room even when we had our second lock on. it scared us for a bit since we thought it was an outsider trying to break into our room.

Very good location”
the hotel is very centrally located and is within walking distance to most tourist sights. it is also a stone's throw from the airport bus, which makes travelling to/from the airport very convenient. the hotel also looks clean and the staff are very polite and professional. the room is well equipped with all the usual amenities, and there is free wifi too!

i stayed at the indigo for business. rooms were comfortable and the location was great. i could walk to all my apointments in less than 5mins. a special feature: there is a tim hortons connected to the hotel and the business center is free
