Great location near castle and gardens”
I truly enjoyed my weekend escape to Okayama, visiting one of the best gardens in Japan and enjoying nature. The hotel is located close to a street car stop, so getting there from the station was easy, and the riverside park, castle, and gardens are a very short walk away. The neighborhood is very nice, with a number of good restaurants as well. Would recommend The One Five Okayama, especially for solo travelers on a budget. Only drawbacks are the unit baths in the room are older, with a small, narrow tub and an electric toilet seat that may have been one of the very first models release, lol. But the friendly staff, great location, breakfast, coffee, and cleanliness of the hotel more than make up for any shortcomings. If I head back to Okayama, this is where I will stay again.

Excellent experience”
I stayed in The OneFive Okayama in December 2020 for 6 days and it was overall great experience! The staffs were really nice. Things were taken care of properly. The hotel is located very near (about a km away) to the Okayama station, Okayama Castle and Korakuen. Can take the tram from Okayama Ekimae to Shiroshita for the hotel. I highly recommend The OneFive Okayama.

I really liked my stay at this hotel, great location and extremely helpful staff! The entire hotel is non smoking, however some guests do seem to smoke in their rooms (as with the cigarette buds visible on the inaccessible landing below the windows).

Fine hotel, good location”
It's located 15 minutes away (walking) from Okayama Station, and kind of the same distance from Okayama Castle. Restaurants and convenience stores near. Hotel is clean, you can get amenities at 1st floor (tooth brush, razor, etc.). You can check in using a machine that lets you do the process in another language (English, Chinese, etc.). Spacious room. Good quality for the price you pay. It's worth it.

Dedication from staff promised my night.”
Firstly, I was staying on 10th floor. On the vicinity of my room, somebody else on other room of same floor was loudery talking and I couldn't cope up with such disturbance. I usually sleep around 21p.m. When o'clock was thicking around late half of 20p.m, those female visitors were still entertaining their own escapade with louder noise. Finally, I was rushing into 1st floor reception desk for consulting this difficulty. Male staff was generously handling my problem with great care.Without having such support, I wouldn't have been able to wake up with fresh condition.

Best budget hotel in the heart of Okayama”
I got the best offer for a hotel located in the city center, within a walking distance from Okayama castle and Konrakuen garden. The room is small, esp the bathroom, but everything is provided, including amenities that other hotels don't usually provide, such as facial cleanser, facial lotion and facial milk. Room is clean and staffs are helpful. I would come and stay again at this hotel when I come back to Okayama next time.

I'm working for Sportbook maker company and this time I intend to come Okayama for Okayama based Pro Basketball team Tryhoop Okayama as match reporter and used this hotel. Unfortunately this hotel is located in hectic city center and surrounded by chaotic crowds in Okayama. If any potential visitor prefers pieceful place, this surrounding is the huge impediment but rest assured that this locational disadvantage won't affect into the quality of sleep. Staff did show their best, I must show my respect to that fact. When foreigner staff was treating me at the reception desk at hotel lobby, I deeply felt that he has been doing hardwork for improving his Japanese speaking. Quality of staff, facility, I have no room to take issue with its quality but its location... More furtherly to say, there is no parking in this Hotel and I had to moved around other non gratis parking. So if any driver who isn't familier with Japanese traffic regulation, coming into here is synonym of traffic infraction.

If money is your chief concern, The OneFive is perfect. The staff are lovely, the check-in procedure is partly automated and has live phone support in several major languages. They have all the basics. The cheapest rooms are tiny, and the place is a little dingey, though not disgusting. BUT if you need a place to lay your head and want to spend as little money as possible (to save for other aspects of your trip), there's nothing better. Word of warning on room size: the "standard double" room, listed variously as accommodating three adults or two adults and a child can barely accommodate the latter. If you're going to share this room with two other adults... well, either bring an air mattress for the tiny strip of floor beside the bed or be prepared to basically be sleeping on top of one another.

The facility is clean, but the staff is not loyal to customers. Their are plenty of better places closer to the city center for convenience, with GREAT staff.

Only worth for weekdays stay”
It is cheap on weekdays but the price would be more than double on weekends, with the same room. We got stains on bedcover (we told the staff and they offered to change it but we were too tired and refused them to do so). The bed was uncomfortable because they used broken spring bed, it's a bit painful for me. But I can understand that I get what I paid, so I should not complain about it.

Rooms super small”
Despite the announcement of a 12sqm room, we got a 10 sgm room. Bed along one wall, little room to put your things and staff not willing to admit that the size of the room is not the one on the bil!
