Just good but not too great ”

The location is good. The facility is not so good...there’s no locker inside the room..Luckily the reception can keep the luggage but if you have to catch up early airport, it’s better to keep by yourself.. Reception only open from 6am to 1am.

Great hostel! Lovely beds with very good curtains, great atmosphere, nice common room with kitchen and free coffee/tea, next to a convenience store, lovely staff. Location is very nice as well, close to the Yamanote line of course and great cheap food places nearby in Ameyoko.

shared bath in a three star hotel? ”

Noisy ventilation, only single shower per floor,... This isn't a three star hotel but a shared bathroom hostel - not obvious from the description on agoda

I stayed in the female dorm room for 3 nights. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful, their English is brilliant. However, the room is soooooo tiny and I had a difficult time staying there as I could not open my 28" luggage in the room and ended up organizing all my stuffs in the corridor instead. The location does not have many things around but it is still close to the subway station thou. :) If I am going to stay there again I will consider staying in the private room.

Excellent Hostel”

Twas my first time to booked a hostel. At first I thought it was a hotel as it was named Hotel Uno. We're about to cancel at last minute before our travel but decided not to as twas hanami and 90% of properties were booked. Twas a very easy check-in and no hassle. The room is above my expectation. We booked a Quad room with 2 bunk beds. Size of the room is enough for four people. It might be different though if I was with other people as it seems a bit cramped. Enough to put in A large size luggage. Facilities are good but we spent most of our time eating out. Near a convenience store to get what you need. Near Oedo, Yamanote, Hibiya, Keisei and Ginza line to get you to other places in tokyo. Fast check out with no hassle. Good and very accomodating staffs. Will book again when I decided to come back. どうもありがとうございました

NICE SURPRISE”

We booked this hotel at the last minute and it was a great experience even though we were there for just 1 night, staff is so friendly and helpful, everything in clean, facilities are comfortable even when is a small place. I would really recommend this hotel. :)

Small place but good design”

It's a very small place with lots of people packed together in capsules. However it has well-designed bathing facilities and offers free towels. It's just 1 min walk from the station. Very convenient location.

Very good Hostel.”

Everything was great, staffs very friendly and helpful, a bit out of Ueno but fine to walk, only 2 shower rooms on our floor (maybe 5th floor) but you can go other floors to use shower rooms and toilets.

Single traveler”

Location is good, quite neighborhood. Nice common area on ground floor. Quite annoying at the Saturday n Sunday night with a group of eight ppl check in, they make a lot of noise in the room, n put all the suitcase around the room

Nice Location”

The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly. But a bit noisy when your room near to the shared bathroom and restrooms.

NOISY and MESSY GUESTS”

I know it's not the hotel's fault but they could have reminded the guest upon checking in about this. Or post some signages inside the room. I booked a capsule room and the other guests are NOISY! Woke me up many times by their conversation. Everything is on the floor, I cant even walk in. Very messy. No consideration. Japanese people do not like this and I am shocked. NO TOWELS, you need to pay rental. 1000 deposit is also needed.

Nicely Designed Hotel”

Did a last minute booking for this hotel & it was very late but to my surprise the hotel is a very nice looking one... Location is a bit of a walk from the station, but besides that everything else is nice.. Convenience store is near & vending machine everyhere... If you're on a budget trip & like to take pics for instagram, this will be very suitable :)

good location & clean”

Location is good. Clean but very small. No locker provided at room. Just a small locker to store passport (big camera not allow) at G/F only. Whatever, single room & dorm also using 2 basin to wash and brush the teeth. Bed is comfort. Staff is nice. For my friend stayed at single room around US80/night but no toilet, basin... at room. Only 1 mini double room these all. Open the door and reach the bed. Unbelievable!

Shared 10 pax room”

Location nearer to Okachimachi JR line. If you like solid pillow this is the place. Room and facilities are decent. A shared room, as usual, you have limited space. Enough for 1 medium luggage. Only stayed for 1 night so don't have any comments on other stuff. If you want peace and quiet during your sleep then don't go for a shared room. There's no guarantee what time people check in or return to the room.

It took 9 minutes walk from the Ueno Stations, however I love this place because it is less crowded than other places. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and also definitely will answer if you have any questions. Nearby has convenient store, restaurants where you can settle your meal conveniently. The room is clean with complete facility. Most importantly is they do have lift, so that I do not have to carry heavy luggage to walk staircase.

1. Really convenient, It only takes about 5-10 min walking from Okachimachi Station. 2. During our stay, we couldn't open our safe initially. After informing their staff, they solved our problems very quickly. REALLY THANKS A LOT!

Clean, comfortable, easily accessible and friendly staffs”

We stayed for 4 days during the sakura season so the rate is below the average high rates during the period. The staffs were friendly and the property is clean and comfortable to stay. Rest rooms are available in all floors while shower rooms are only available to certains floors (need to use elevator to have a bath). Hotel is very accessible to various train/subway stations and restaurants. We definitely recommend this if you plan on staying Tokyo (near Ueno station).
