Our stay was amazing. The resort is beautiful. I would make some suggestions though.....the staff could not understand us properly, aspesially the waitresses at the restaurant. Also the food at the restaurant was not all that great. Some dishes were not good at all, I was very dissappointed with the lobster. The buffet that gets served every night was average, also some of the foods need improvement, like the steak and other meaty dishes. I would also suggest that the drinks menu have more of a variety of wines, I bought my own wine at one of the local stores. There was also a shortage of ice. Other than the food and drinks, the stay was awesome, the resort is well maintained and we had a lovely few massages at the spa as well. If we needed a taxi, the staff arranged it without any problems. We felt safe all the time, which was great, being in a foreign country. I would love to go for another stay and help out in the kitchen, I think we could all learn from each other! Greetings from South Africa!

Very pleasant stay ”
Excellent resort for money. Good and delicious food, excellent shows and entertainment every night ! Very clean and spacious swimming pool.The beach nearby is vey beautiful and the walks during the low tide are amazing! However the resort needs to be brushed up a little.Definitely we will come again.

Wouldnt reccomend”
Wouldnt recommwnd it to anyone. Personel isnt bad. They good people. We had no electricity for one night and no air condition for three. Food wasnt good as well. We went to different 4star hotel up the beach and everything was just perfect. Food was delicious and the whole object was amazing

Positives - Waiters are amazing! Food is fine. Helpful staff. Lovely beach access. The pool is amazing. Setbacks No Wifi in the rooms. No much food for children. Rooms had cockroaches and the bathroom smells. Lots of mosquitos. Lunch and dinner are too far apart in terms of timings. Breakfast and lunch are too close.

Dream holiday ”
Gorgeous scenic island with clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean, I highly recommend snorkelling at the blue safari excursion, swimming and feeding turtle’s at the Mnarani Natural Aquarium a sunset cruise and boat party at Kendwa North Zanzibar if you’re looking for an educational historical background I highly recommend Stone town and the towns fish and spice market as well as the Prison island excursion. You won’t be disappointed.

Very Nice Relaxation Hotel”
I traveled with my family and a family friends of ours which made in total of 4 adults and 3 kids raging from 8 to 10 years old and we stayed there for 10 days. The hotel is located on a very nice and clean beach, the staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a show every night promoting local artists and the shows are actually really good. It has an gaming room with couple of pool tables, ping pong and a nintendo wii, which are well kept except for the pools cues which have no tips which has caused damaged to the cue ball making the play somewhat interesting. The food at the restaurants was very good and chef Alessandro the last day made us an amazing dish of pasta. We hope to stay again here in the future.

Customer service awful. AC’s don’t work and only blow hot air. While they send the repairman nothing changes. It will be looked after the next day according to them. Had to cut our three day stay and left the very next day. Waste of taxi fare too!

What I enjoyed whilst staying at Uroa was the entertainment on offer every night with live performances/dances, particularly when the Maasai men performed! The rooms were nice and spacious. I was appalled at the way we were treated in comparison to other guests at the resort. At one point, it took the waitress nearly 30 min to bring me the restaurant menu. On another day, our room was not serviced/cleaned. Some staff and resort owners did not make us feel welcome at all, they'd stare uncomfortably for long periods of time than necessary. The food from the restaurant was not always quality. They should really do something about the flies at the restaurants-every single day was a problem with the flies around our food. You could not swim in the sea at all during our 5 night stay as it was littered with leaves and the likes. Luckily we were mostly out on excursions which we enjoyed. The general look of the resort is nice. Beautiful and big pool☺The breakfast is okay. I guess the menu could improve.

Hotellet er meget stort og præget af all-inclusive stemning, når det er værst. Ingen hyggelige at hænge ud i, stor affodringshal at indtage sine måltider i, alt for få pool-pladser til antal gæster, et personale, der håndterede en værelses up-grade særdeles uprofessionelt. Vi endte med af sidstnævnte grund at forlade hotellet før tid og betalte en urimelig høj pris for et ringe, ringe ophold. Jeg kan ikke anbefale dette hotel til nogen!

Schöne ruhige Anlage”
Wir waren auf Sansibar 1 Woche zur Erholung und um Sonne zu tanken. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Anlage gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Restaurants waren wirklich gut. Wir hatten nur ÜF, falls wir ausserhalb Essen wollten war dies leider nur mit Taxi möglich, da man die Straßen bei Dunkelheit als Europäer meiden soll. Wer Ruhe sucht und kein Rämidämi braucht ist in diesem Hotel sehr gut aufgehoben.

Bel endroit pour découvrir Zanzibar”
Situé à coté du village de pêcheurs d'Uroa, cet hotel offre un bon rapport qualité/prix. Rarement rempli, la clientèle y est cosmopolite même si on y trouve une majorité d'européeens. Plutôt calme (comparativement aux hôtels du nord ou les Italiens se retrouvent en masse), il est facile de sympathiser avec les locaux pour faire avec eux les mêmes excursions que propose l'hotel pour bien moins cher..
