Slept like a baby ,but not a waterbaby.”
This has the most comfortable beds that I have found in Vientiane..I like medium soft/hard my partner likes fully hard, but we both slept like hibernating dormice. It's also very quiet even on only the third floor despite being located in the centre of everything. Like most small hotels in Vientiane during Covid , they survive by giving big discounts and reducing staffing, but the service was still excellent. The guy on reception was very attentive , listened to my needs , and accommodated them , he also was good with emailed requests prior to the stay...thank you. All usual room amenities are present and function well: superfast WiFi, responsive Aircon, hot shower, free toiletries, kettle hairdryer and free water. Mini-bar not stocked because of Covid restrictions on alcohol. However, the swimming pool was only suitable for those with hydrophobia. I'd actually booke for a cheap 9 dollar night with access to swimming. However, again Covid safety restrictions meant the pool was dry . I did not fill it with tears, because everything else was excellent and the best night's sleep for a long time was had

Big comfy bed and close to everything”
I'm a fan. Everything was good except a funky smell in the bathroom drain. Same smell at the pool. Otherwise it was really really good for the price. We paid $25 for the whole family plus breakfast!

Good location and budget room”
The hotel is quite close to the night market and you can find some nice local food there, and the staff is quite helpful.

Beautiful colonial style room with faint poo smelling bathroom”
But literally EVERY hotel bathroom in the country smells like sewage. At least the 10 or 12 that I've tried. This one was not too stinky compared to others. I have a nose like a dog so you may not even notice the poo smell. The bathroom was very clean. It's just that they don't do plumbing right in Laos for whatever reason. I suspect they link the toilet plumbing to the shower drain improperly somehow. Anyway, I still recommend this hotel because other hotels in this price range will a stronger diarrhea smell than this one. When is he going to stop talking about poo? The reception was a polite Indian lady. Helpful staff. The gym is actually pretty good, with decent weight training equipment. The aircon in the gym was on when I had a look. But when I went to work out, the AC was off, and no apparent way to turn it on. A Caucasian man cannot workout in a hot and stuffy room like that without dying. Anyway, a good excuse to skip leg day. I did't bother asking for help.

Very good value”
Considering its price (around $25), this is a very good choice. I stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony. Some positives: comfortable bed (soft), large room with plenty of places to sit - 2 chairs and 2 stools (although none were particularly comfortable), a wardrobe, small frig, and an excellent gym for a hotel (lots of free weights/upper body equipment, 2 treadmills, etc). There is also a pool on the 2nd floor (covered) but it didn't look that appealing. Cons: not in the center of town, but close enough (5 minute walk away); breakfast is not very good (but totally fine based on cost of room); power shuts off when you leave the room so you can't charge devices, or keep frig cool when gone. The room was relatively clean but may not meet the standards of some (cobwebs above the curtains - hard to reach I'm sure for the cleaning crew). Overall, I was happy with my stay, and I would recommend it for those that are wanting good value, especially for those wanting a gym.

Good breakfast selection, good a/c, close to night market and shops, has pool and gym. Only complaint we had was that 2 farang in pool with Lao girls drinking beer and smoking for 5 hrs and staff did nothing.

This is one of the best budget options in Vientiane. The King room is highly recommended because of the size and the balcony.

Hotel at Excellent Location”
Overall we had an enjoyful stay at this hotel. Despite the negative reviews, we found no communication issue with the Hotel Receptions/Staffs. The only small issue is that the water at indoor swimming pool is too cold for us to swim there.
