Good hotel, but overpriced for Brazil”
The reception and lobby was under renovation and I was never informed of this when I booked this hotel. Surprise! The noise was incredibly loud and annoying, especially during breakfast. It was not a pleasant experience. The staff at the reception were not friendly; they were efficient but lacked the sweetness one would expect from Brazilians. The room was large but it was not well appointed. It was bare and cold. The hot water did not work properly in the shower and there was mold in the bathroom. This is not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel. In short, this hotel is overpriced for Brazilian standards.

Fantastic trip!”
Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We have been to Rio twice before and normally stay at the Rio Othon Palace. However, the staff here was so much nicer, the pool was bigger (and much warmer), location was perfect. We asked for connecting rooms and got them, had a small view of Copacabana/Leme beach. The view from the rooftop of the Christ the Redeemer and the entire Copacabana beach was spectacular. The bar on the rooftop was wonderful. Absolutely no complaints.

Quiet part of Copacabana-Leme, terrible internet”
Below expectations. Wifi from room is terrible - low speed, erratic performance even in the lobby and restaurant. Rooms are clean but looks tired.

OK hotell at the beach”
the hotel standard is ok but this depends on what price you are paying. if you make a reservation early and the hotel has many rooms available the rate for the room will be ok, but if you make a late reservation and there only are a few rooms left the price for the room will be very high. i made a late reservation and found the price too high compared to the hotel standard. the hotel was very strict conserning early check in and was not very flexible.

The location was good - near the beach and some good restaurants but the rest of the hotel was entirely unremarkable. Brazilian people are extremely friendly and generous so the service was good and friendly but the breakfast buffet , beds, bathroom and all the rest was just acceptable-ok for a one night stay in Rio. Not worth the money.

Good hotel in good location”
We stayed whilst there was construction taking place. Was bearable and not too bad. Views over Copacabana were good as was the location, close to the beach, supermarket and the back streets etc. Taxi service was good as were the hotel staff. All in all a pleasant stay

Fantastic hotel in a central, great location”
We had a great stay the the leme othon palace. The location of this hotel is great - central and safe. The staff are very helpful with excellent english. We also had free use of the internet which was an added bonus. The breakfast is substantial - continental. The rooms are very big, with a big bathroom also. They also have a safe and are cleaned daily. The hotel is also very clean. There are some really great and cheap restaurants located literally around the corner and there are also some great little cafes nearby.

In general we were unsatisfied with the hotel, nothing that we ordered was in place, from the kind of bed, to the internet service. And the busses close by don`t go to Ipanema, the next neighboorhood for example, and the taxis in front of the hotel try to reap tourists out.

Very nice located”
We had a very nice stay at this hotel during our holidays in April 2009. We are a family of 6 and had two nice rooms close to each other. The service was good and the reseption clerks were very helpful. Ps. You will have to order superior rooms if you want view to the sea. Nice shoping centre in walking distance from the hotel.

Llevo varios años viajando a Rio y siempre me alojo en este Hotel. Está muy bien situado y en una zona de Copacabana más tranquila, en el que podrás disfrutar de un ambiente de barrio. Tienes varios establecimientos de comidas y todos los servicios típicos de un barrio: zumos, sandwiches, restaurantes, manicura, farmacia, drogueria, peluqueria, cambio, etc.

I really like this hotel. I felt very comnfortable and it is located in an area where you can enjoy the real Rio life: little shops, services, restaurants, juice and sandwiches. It is also beneath the beach and they give you towels so you won't need anything eles. And it is on the quietest part of Copacabana.

Pase la Navidad en Rio de Janeiro con mi Sra. y mi hijo de 5 años y la verdad que la pasamos super bien, Rio es una ciudad maravillosa y su gente muy amable, me gusto todo, sus playas, su musica, su comida, sus centros comerciales y por supuesto la impresionante vista de la ciudad desde el Pan de Azucar y el Cristo Redentor.Sin duda que Rio de Janeiro es una ciudad que no basta con visitarla solo una vez, ya lo veran!

ficamos 1 semana no hotel, e desfrutamos de absolutamente tudo que tivemos direito. funcionários super bem educados e simpáticos, café da manhã com bastante variedade, limpeza super bem feita, localização muito boa. foi tudo nota 10.
