Staffs are wonderful. I was surprised that they offered a deluxe private onsen to my wife and me for free. The landlady is very nice. As we didn’t join the hotel dinner, she was worrying about whether we had been full from eating outside and she prepared 2 rice balls (飯糰) for us. Overall the experience was very good. I will definitely come back.

Elegant Ryokan with heartwarming service and delicious meal. Dinner, Breakfast, Onsen, Tatami room and cute pink Yukata was all great. I been many Ryokan in Japan and Kakkei Ryokan is the first Ryokan who calls in advance (with fluent English) to check. Thanks to the kind phone call, I could include dinner and enjoy Gaiseki Ryori which I did not included when I make reservation of this ryokan. I really enjoyed and got a good rest there!

Okami sann was kind, and everyone greeted me with kindness. Dinner and breakfast was perfect. Hot spring including rotenburos in the ryokan was amazing, and please experience Sunayu. Recommended ryokan and willing to visit again.

Wonderful stay with a surprise visit to a Thousand Year Old Sakura tree”
The staff at Hakkei Yubara were wonderful. Although the interior feels ever so slightly dated, the staff truly made up for it. As we were there during the cherry blossom season, the landlady arranged a short trip for patrons to see a thousand year old Sakura tree at full bloom. That really completed the entire experience!

Super friendly, polite and helpful staff. Amazing indoor, outdoor and rooftop onsens. Room is big and the river view is stunning. The hotel offers a pick-up at the Yubara-onsen bus stop. Food is delicious. There is a karaoke room with affordable price.

I've been here for a second time. The hotel has 2 good onsen areas one is on the basement and another is on the top floor with open air mountain scenic. The view from restaurant window and my room window is natural public onsen which is quite nice. Hotel staff are great and have very good service mind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner Japanese style were great. Japanese style room is nice and we can stay in all family of four. All hotels in Yubara are quite old and also Yubara Hakkei, however the hotel still looks well and clean from good maintenance.

冈山坑次坑次乘了2个多小时车到达汤原温泉，没有预定接，大雨天的走去八景，鞋都湿了，店员们真的很好，还帮我把鞋子烘干了！！！晚饭有点吃不饱=_=自己又加了牛肉，日式早餐很棒。酒店特别清静，布置了很多小兔子摆设，超喜欢～晚上预定的空之汤也是棒棒的～～～有机会的话期待下一次的温泉之行～

到步時候出其地好熱情招待，俾杯茶你飲下，但其實我個人覺得係叫人去你房開定個冷氣，當日唔太熱，大約 23 度左右，呢個係加分 point。到夜晚食飯，都係日本例牌 18 小碟個種 style，但一舊肉都冇，係一舊肉都冇，全部都是蔬茶類，仲要超少份量，cheap cheap 地成本最低最低既雞肉都沒有 1 片，只有 1 條多春魚，個飯仲要係全白飯單上俾你，都唔知想點，如果係訂房時候你個收費表注明是無肉餐單，我一定不會入住呢間酒店，另外，講下個聲稱係溫泉既熱水池，如果你去過普普通通北海道個 d 溫泉酒店，你會發覺落差會好大好大，首先唔好講地理位置 d 水質分別，簡單 d 講下個水池大小分別，天台個水池只有 2 張乒乓球枱大少，地牢水池大約有 3 張乒乓球枱大少，如果夜晚餐飯好少少我應該唔會寫呢堆字，感覺被欺騙了

The boss and the staff are very kind. If you will also order your favorite meal so you may select and order. Mostly groups stay 2 to 3 nights so everyday different meal, some times chef recommendations.

八景はステキな旅館でした。 一方で、agodaサイトでは12歳以下の子供の宿泊は無料とありましたが、旅館側は把握されていないようでした。検索で12歳以下も条件に入れていましたが、予約ではインプットされず、気が付かないところでした。 宿泊は無料にしていただきましたが、agodaサイトの側でその他に必要な費用（朝食、夕食、エキストラベットなど）を明確に記載、もしくはリンクを貼らないと分かりにくいです。

スタッフの方々が外国の方で、こちらの思いが通じず、ちぐはぐな感じで居心地が良くなかったです。おもてなしの心が無かったです。 部屋に入った途端、寒い！！・お茶請けが無い・浴衣の上に羽織るフリースが汚れている・メモに前の人の書いたのがそのまま残っている等々、粗探しをしてしまいました。 お料理の味付けは美味しかったです。 温泉は良かったです。 部屋は広くゆったりとしていましたが、寒すぎて、フロントに電気ストーブを用意して欲しいというと、灯油のストーブを用意して下さいました。色々と要望を言いましたが、快く、叶えて頂いた点は、感謝してます。が、言う前に心ずかいが欲しかったです。厳しいことを書きましたが、参考までに。
