An unexpected gem in this corner of Akita”
Go here for the (outdoor) onsens that overlook the stream below and the autumn leaves. You won't regret it. It's not a luxury facility but the public areas are decorated with much care. The buffet at dinner and at breakfast was tasty, and this is no small feat given the dearth of staff in this corner of the country. Everyone was still courteous and professional. There isn't much else in the vicinity but if you have a car the breathtaking natural scenery in the area would be easily accessible. There is a train station just steps away, too.

Fantastic room with a lovely outdoor onsen”
This place is beautiful! Don’t be fooled by the exterior of the hotel (from far it looks a little dated and worn), but it’s a gem on the inside. Our room was spacious and the private onsen in our room was one of the best I’ve ever been in. Food was quite good, but perhaps the service could’ve been better.

New experience in the Snow Storm”
We arrived at the hotel together with the snow storm before the check-in time so we have to wait about 1 hour but the staffs invited us to the lounge with free bath and a nice view which we can enjoy our time. The room is clean with superb view but the room is not really sound proof. We heard sound from the beside and above rooms. The dinner is buffet. The taste is tasty but quite crowded with limited time. We enjoyed our dinner. The Onsen is also nice but inside is quite dark. Together with the snow storm, I almost tripped in the Onsen because it is dark. There are 3 onsen in the women bathroom. The Private Onsen is not quite impressive. No shower available in the private onsen. The facilities is less than expected. And almost everything is in Japanese written font so it is very hard to translate. But the staffs is very helpful!

Wonderful Food. Amazing Onsen!”
Our Japanese style room in the annex overlooked the river & had the most amazing view of the autumn colours. Listening to the river was so relaxing. The outdoor onsen overlooking the river is magical. The buffet dinner was wonderful.

Room is big. Soft bed and nice amenities inside bathroom. Breakfast is good. Service is good. Onsen is so good.!!! Don't miss it. If you are shyly person, private onsen is available but ¥1,000(i can't remember--45mins)(Suggest room no.2 is bigger)

One of best choices to enjoy Onsen”
Although I felt I got tricked by Agoda as I thought the room I booked had a private onsen based on the posted pictures, which actually they didn't have it. The onsens were separate with great views so it was not disappointing at all.

满分推荐的温泉酒店，一定要去一次”
1. 交通方便，我是从青森过来的，在大馆换花轮线汤濑温泉站下，大概400米的样子。小火车虽然慢但是一路飘雪风景优美，如果从盛冈过来也可以坐花轮线，会经过安比高原，基本上就是在雪地里开火车了，这种美是新干线感受不到的 2. 房间很大舒适，大堂大气，有一个lounge可以喝饮料和看书，一直放着优美的钢琴曲，非常放松 3. 餐饮丰盛美味，服务热情周到，儿童餐也十分丰富 4.工作人员太棒了，服务专业，无论是前台，餐厅，包括每一位工作人员，都会热情的问好打招呼 5. 酒店依山傍水而建，池子又大风景又好，听溪水流动的声音，飘着雪花，十分美好 我看到评论里面很多都是回头客，住过一次之后我们一家人都认为这是此行20多天内最喜欢的一个酒店，我们也住过其他风景优美或者餐饮突出的日式温泉酒店，但这家有一种亲和力，让人觉得十分温暖。

安静的双人泡汤山林之宿”
日式房间很大，门厅，洗手池、卫生间2个、淋浴干湿分开，非常好。一泊二宿的价格比起之前去过的热门或者稍微热门的泡汤地性价比简直太好了，早晚都是自助形式，其实挺好的，选择更多。大堂的咖啡厅全天免费供应果汁、茶、咖啡，非常赞。泡汤有室内和露天，人少舒服。最难得的是，我们第二天赶上了2018初雪，迎着漫天飞舞的雪花去酒店旁的树林溪间步道健走了一圈，往返2.4公里吧，超美，2个人的美好回忆！

距離火車站步行很近，開車也不必擔心停車位，無料停車腹地很大。 入住即享蘋果汁、咖啡、熱茶無限喝。四人和室房型寬敞、睡到六個人都沒問題，空間乾淨舒適。早餐種類豐富選擇很多、洋式日式都好吃，只怕吃不下。 超推大浴場，洗澡空間寬敞很多隔間，室內湯池根本是大游泳池，室外總共四池，面野溪山壁非常愜意舒服。很願意帶家人再次入住。 服務人員親切態度好，英文講解也詳細

今年二度入住，這次房型與預訂相片中房型不符，少了小客廳，且在床底居然還殘留前房客的保特瓶。 早餐依舊豐盛好味，浴場內湯大小猶如小型泳池，露天也有二池，正值賞楓期，望外整面楓樹入眼，這就值了。
