The staff was very friendly and the hotel looks a lot better in real. It was clean and you get clean towels and shampoo shower gel and is really good value also walking distance from kings cross. I was well impressed. I definitely recommend this place.

Midweek Swinton Hotel stay”
This was a very reasonably priced hotel, including continental breakfast. It was within 5 min walk Kings Cross. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, functional and quiet. I would stay again!

For the price of my double room I was pleasantly surprised. If you just want somewhere to crash after a day or evening out then would recommend. If you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs.

Better than basic. Less than 10 mins to the nearest tube, very clean, staff were so lovely and accommodating. It doesn’t have a luxury price tag so you can’t expect luxury! But had everything you’d need to rest your head. Highly recommend

Good for anyone travelling alone!”
Stayed at this hotel by myself during the 1st week of July. My single room was beautiful, clean & cozy. Despite its tiny size, which was just right for me, I was able to fit my yoga mat in the room and had space to do a workout in the evenings after sightseeing all day. I wanted a hotel that was reasonably priced and close to King's Cross train station as well as the sights I wanted to see, and since the summer weather was great, all the sights were within walking distance (approx. 30 min. brisk walk), so this hotel fit the bill perfectly. The bathroom didn't match the standard of the bedroom, but at least everything worked (shower, toilet & sink) and housekeeping worked too. There was not enough space in the bathroom for toilettries, so may I warmly recommend to the hotel to attach some small shelves on the wall of the bathroom for this purpose. 🙂 There was some ventilation in the bathroom, but no air conditioning in the bedroom, so I was lucky there wasn't a heatwave in London while I was there; the sleeping temperature was just right and there was no noise at night from the street despite the hotel's central location. As a woman travelling alone in London, I was also relieved about how safe this hotel felt; there was an employee at reception around the clock and you couldn't get into the hotel without pressing the buzzer for them to let you in only after they had seen who was coming in. I am not a breakfast-person, so didn't try breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I would warmly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on their own! 🙂

Good looking hotel, Nasty staff staff members”
I am a Deliveroo rider and during my stay in this hotel I had my electric bike in the reception . The manager told me I could take it in my room but a couple of hours after my check in, I've been told it would be too much of a hassle to move it. And so I left in tye reception. 2 days layer I've been told my bike brings a bad image to the hotel so the night manager told me I could have a room in the basement with garden so I can park it there. But when I tried to extend, the manager told me I can't extend because I bring a bad image to this hotel with my bike. I can't believe I've been treated this way, even though I could afford an upgrade to a bigger room for my bike. So thank you but no thank you. Shame on you managers

For the price great value. Clean, functional and some elements of nice décor. My room was on the main road side - but was very quiet, the double glazing works well. Only disappointments: no desk or work surface.

Spacious family room”
Family room spacious and good size for group of four. However, the bathroom cannot be locked when in use. It would be good if there are hooks or railings for hanging clothes and towers.
