I believe it is the newest hotel in Taiping Town. It's very clean, new and comfortable, easy access to mall downstairs. Water pressure for shower is satisfied, only need to wait for about 30 seconds for the water to turn into desire temperature, a bit inconsistent in temperature of the water. Toiletries is limited (no shower cap, cotton buds, body lotion). It is better if shower area have a door to prevent water splashed out. Kettle is malfunction, anyway after call up for exchange, the staff turn up within 15minutes to change and test for me. TV channel is limited, but still can fulfill me and my child's needed. Breakfast is no surprise (even no omelette provided), coffee machine is a plus point. Can check in at ground floor first before drive up to car park at level 6. There is another enter barrier especially for whom stay in the hotel. Feel more secure. Unfortunately there is no family room adjoining room for superior room. Overall is satisfied and will stay again.

1. The location is great and strategic. 5 minutes from Taiping town 2. Worth your money. The room is spacious and considered cheap compared to other hotel in town. Even if you book the room inclusive of breakfast, it is still considered cheap. 3. It has its own parking at basement so you dont need to worry about your car 4. Breakfast selection is acceptable with the price you paid Need improvement on: 1. I dont like the room smell. It is like walking into an old furniture store with smelly carpet 2. Your staff at reception counter should be more friendly and work faster. The staff entertained me during my check in didn’t even look at my face

New hotel in Taiping. Had a peaceful getaway in this quiet and beautiful hotel, strategically located at the iconic Taiping Lake Gardens. The location is close to many major landmarks in Taiping, the scenery was superb, rooms are spacious and most importantly, the service was good and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone based on its location, comfort and friendliness. Keep up the good work!

We booked a 10 day stay and selected a room with 2 desk areas to be able to work with a laptop. We asked for the king double with 2 desks and it took us a little while to find it but due to the very helpful staff we got a tour of almost every room in the hotel. We finally found the room in the Agoda photo and this was provided without any problems. Having seen most of the rooms personally I can honestly say the quality of all the rooms is excellent and it is evident that the hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The rooftop is open to use and has an open deck area and toilets and is large enough to accommodate large functions and we found it very pleasant to go up to the roof especially when it is raining as it has a nice breeze and good view to the hills in the distance. The staff are very attentive and friendly and could not do enough for us to make us feel very welcome. We enjoyed it so much we arranged to stay for an extra week. Taiping has a lot to offer and the location of the Louis Hotel places you at the very heart of Taiping town. There is plenty of food outlets and hawker stalls next to the hotel and a convenient 7-11 store is next door. Thanks to all the staff at Louis Hotel for a wonderful stay.

Location is very near to places that is of interest. In fact, the guests can even go for morning jogging or walking at the lakeside. The surroundings are very green and very scenic to be seen. Foodwise, guest do not need to depend so much at the hotel as Taiping town is nearby and food are abundance. However, for guests who do not wish to go out there are also alternatives to order the foods from the cafe. The only setback is the hotel is not able to offer more activities within the hotel's premises other than the swimming pool. Probably this can be improvised for the hotel's selling points in future. The Vistana Micassa Hotel's big viewpoint: Taiping Lake Garden, that's made me felt so impressive because there distance is nearby the park roughly 1km. So in the morning I can take jogging to the park as satisfied my wish before. In depth talking there's a location surrounding by the fresh air and also the natural on me. Anyway although the room that I had booking is not big but there is sufficiency to let family and I to stay a night.

The hotel staff are very friendly and efficient in their carrying out the check in procedure. The room is basically clean and everything needed for a traveller are there. Free news paper of your own choice. The breakfast come in a good variety of local and western foods. The sky bar at pool side is located at he roof top level. Free wifi at the sky bar and lobby let one easily call home with one of the latest apps in the smart phone. Beautiful lake and walking path is right in front of the hotel. The hill climber will like the near by Maxwell Hill climbing experience. I would recommend this hotel as one of the most ideal hotel choices in Taiping town.

Clean place and friendly, helpful staff. However, getting a quiet night's sleep could be problem. The location of the accommodation in the heart of Taiping town is without a doubt very convenient especially for guests without their own mode of transport but it turned out to be a bane for us. We stayed on a weekend when the following Monday was a public holiday. Road noise from what seemed like non-stop traffic that night penetrated through to the room we were in and although we were in a room in the middle of the building on the 1st floor, the loud noise of truck and especially revving motorcycle engines resonated through to our rooms as if the walls were all made of plank and we didn't sleep a wink till the wee hours of the morning when the traffic thinned out. To be fair I think there'd probably be much less traffic on weekdays and normal weekends and perhaps road noise'd be much less of a problem on less busy weekends.

Everything is fine and good for a budget hotel, provide a lift, very fast wifi and 15 minute walking to Taiping Railway Station. Many Malay and Chinese restaurant within walking distance.Get the Rapid bus 10A or 10B at the bus stop sign which is on schedule every 45 minutes to Taiping old bus station which is close to Taiping new bus station (near the market)as well to Kamunting bus station which is NOT near Kamunting Rail Station,make sure you take the right one since this bus 10A and 10B is operating in clockwise and counterclockwise route it is advised that you take a snap picture of the exact time schedule of the bus leaving the bus station to prevent prolong waiting time

Confusing 3-star rated,maybe is rated 3-star for having swimming pool. On website showing location in Taiping town, but actually is at Kamunting. Didn’t highlight that this is not a Hotel, but is Service Apartment, there is always no people at reception counter. I booked 2 rooms. Ground floor considered ok though some spider webs at some walls, but third floor is really awful, need to clean the room by ourselves. No water kettle, no shower and hair shampoo, air-cond is not functioning. Both rooms without toilet rolls. The only credit is the clean public swimming pool, and the venue is surrounding with beautiful mountain and cold fogging.
