Relaxing & comfortable stay”
We chose a room with a private shower. It was very clean and comfortable. Parking was readily available and free. We appreciated that there was a mini fridge in the room as well. The host was very helpful with a spray for our windshield to remove frost. We would definitely stay here again.

The weather is poor with heavy raining, so we cant enjoy the beautiful landscape at the time. However, the landlord is willing to assist us to solve our difficulty. Therefore, I highly recommend!!

Comfortable guesthouse ”
It’s a comfortable guesthouse with mountain view. The kitchen has all you need,the bath is a bit uncomfortable and cold though. It’s located out of town, but there is a huge discount store in walking distance. Breakfast was tasty, I wish it would have been a bit more. The owners are kind and friendly people, I even got a ride to the bus station in the morning. I will be back, if I come to Takachiho again.

Just a simple and nice room with tatami style, breakfast was simple but delicious, few minutes walk to the main attraction area, but it could be very tiring when you walk back since it s going uphill all the way.

There is a curfew set 12 midnight (avoid disturbance to other customers) which was stressing as we wanted to watch turtles lay eggs and we had to wait for turtles to come to the beach and we had to drive back about 45 mins-1 hr in darkness. had to pay for internet if you want to use. check in strictly at 3 pm. owner has specific set of instructions

Good hostel. I feel good take care from staff. Look old but clean and feel like local Japanese. I choose the room with private bathroom. It’s good Good heater , free wifi , free parking and price. You have to arrange futon on your own. But I’m not sure is it convenient for the one who use public transport? Because it’s in valley.

Enjoy my time to stay in B&B Ukigumo, they upgrade us to a room with a bathroom. And great to add little to have a home-made breakfast. The host so nice to drive us back to the bus station too ~
