Good for ski lover!”
Recommend as you can ski right in front of hotel. Hotel staff very efficient to pick us from and to bus terminal, and to zao ropeway (zao monster). No worry about location or transport! Good snowy view! Overall is good! Will definitely recommend!

Nice staff and clean facilities”
Although the hotel is quite far from the bus terminal, as soon as we arrived and called the hotel for picking up, they came very fast. The staff in the hotel are all very nice and polite. We stayed at the traditional japanese style room which is very nice and comfortable. And the ski area is right outside the hotel, if we came at winter, we definitely will choose this hotel

We are very happy to be pleased with my stay. It is located far from the spa town, so if you contact us, we can pick you up. It's right in front of the ski slopes, so it's the best place for those who want to ski. You can enjoy wonderful scenery surrounded by mountains even in other seasons

This hotel is a ski in ski out hotel, very convenient for the skiers. But the facility is quite old, we live in a room without bathtub. Also we saw a spider in our room!

Decent, but not exactly value for money”
Facilities and service were average. However, room was slightly old and meals were unsatisfactory. For the kaiseki dinner, there was not even japanese rice provided and the broth was poor.

Sorry for not meeting your expectations. It is a traditional hotel where the royal family has stayed in the past, but I want to clean it because the old part is noticeable. I was very sorry that I could not give rice and miso soup. I gave it on the way to provide it in a warm condition, but it seems that the confirmation was leaked. We will make sure that the staff does not repeat the same.
Nice hill top traditional Japanese style hotel”
The hotel is just right beside the skiing venue , you can literally put on your ski attire and off you go, the room is spacious , toilet a bit old and most of the metal part corroded, they have man made and natural onsen , natural onsen size is very small , but man made is of good size , the room include dinner and breakfast . The food is of good quality , staff dun speak much English . My only complain is I sent email to Jurin hotel to ask for direction from Yamagata station to the hotel but no reply , eventually I found bus service from Yamagata station to Zao onsen bus terminal at ¥1000 per pax , we took the bus and thought it is an east walk to the hotel. But I am wrong , the hotel is up hill slope and we have trouble moving our heavy luggage up the hill .. when I check with the staff is they provide shuttle from Zao onsen bus terminal to Jurin hotel , they mention we need to CALL them for pick up ! The website do not have clear information on the bus shuttle ..

love the onsen”
other reviews seem to suggest that there is only 1 small onsen, which is not true. there are 2 small onsen of natural sulphur base and 1 big one of normal colourless spring water. i have thoroughly enjoyed the onsen. the hotel is also near the famous natural big onsen, within 15min walk. u can buy the ticket at the hotel at 400yen and save 100yen. the service is good and friendly. free shuttle to and from the zao onsen bus terminal. it is quite a climb even during autumn season. it is situated next to the forest. so you can take a walk when the weather is good

Skier's hotel”
I had a corner room, which was cold despite the heater being on its highest setting, but the bed was comfy, the onsen baths fantastic to soak in while watching snow fall outside, and the food was great. Agoda did not offer the special deal the hotel offers, though, of full board for the same price as half board on Agoda!!! Call the hotel to check this before you go.

Too small onsen but dinner is superb”
It's quite far from bus terminal. You can walk with no luggage only because it has many steep along the way to hotel. For natural onsen bath is very small. The most impressive was dinner (shabu and sukiyaki).

スキーをするには最高のロケーション。宿は古いが温泉と食事が楽しめて、コスパは良いと思います。事前に予約さえすれば、蔵王温泉内の送迎は快くしてもらえて観光目的でも問題ないかんじです。

かなり築年数の経過した施設で、アゴダや施設のHPを含めた画像と、実際の印象は異なっております。 朝食も評価が高い書き込みが多かったのですが、標準レベルで品数も多いという程ではありません。 そういう訳で、今回の利用では割安感を感じることができませんでした。

スキー場が近いので、予約しましたが、お湯を沸かして2度、ドライヤーを1度使ってブレーカーが落ちました。今迄、色々なホテルに泊まりましたが、ブレーカーが何度も落ちたホテルは初めてです。
