Great location, value for money”

The property is conviniently situated near various establishments and just seconds away from the metro tozai line. Plenty of restaurants and pharmacies, and Starbucks is just around the corner. The shared facilities are consistently kept clean. While the house can get chilly during winter, the beds are sufficiently warm. The host are incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond by offering welcome snacks and gave me a cute wallet as a souvenir. We will definitely go back!

Sweet little place ”

Tama Ryokan is a sweet little place with a good location. The owners are kind, helpful and good natured. In the midst of all of the concrete, it was fun to stay in an older building with character. The price is great for the location. It is an older building and the walls are thin. I found it charming and true to Japanese living, others might find it inconvenient. Note to people with allergies (like me) -- it is an older, wood building and there was a must in the air that affected me. People with out allergies would probably not notice, but I am fairly sensitive. I moved to a room with a window that I kept open (it was a very warm October) and I was fine after that. Overall, its a great place with hosts that care about creating a good experience. Highly recommended.

Decent stay for the price”

The landlady is very particular about us using the room and how we manage the baggages because the room door is made of paper which will be torned easily. This is a very traditional ryokan. Steep stairways not advisable for if group with huge luggage and elderly
