My wife and I have to book separately since they don't have co-ed rooms. Budget friendly rooms but service is minimal.

Basic room with minimal service”

We're a bit disappointed by the service of the staff, we didn't feel welcomed at all. Rooms are basic but you get what you pay.

Cheap (commensurate to facilities and comfort)”

Just so-so for a guesthouse. A nice experience for foreigners as it is an old ryokan, traditional japanese house. But the building and facilities are old. The aircon is probably old as it made terrible sounds. The wall are thin. Only one toilet and one bath for 12 guests. Our room, which is closest to the road, is probably the worst among all rooms. If you could choose, don't pick the room closest to the street.

Just OK, a bit noisy though as expected”

It's very close to the station but local trains seldom run in the afternoon. As expected of guesthouses, it was a bit noisy. Our room was next to the toilet and the road, where we could hear the clanking of a metal (manhole cover?) on the road.

近火車站及巴士站，但因為門面是精品商店所以很易容走過頭。 這間住宿我覺得是一間蠻簡陋有點歷史的房屋再分租房間出來，是次訂三人榻榻米，廁所及沖涼房各一，在樓下共用。基本上很少國外旅客去紀伊田辺這個地方，我住了三個晚上，只有另外一位男子住在隔壁房間一晚。 房間並沒有任何私人空間放物品，櫃子、抽屜、鏡子什麼都沒有，即使掛衣服的鈎也只得兩個，如果同時候有三位客人入住會很擠不方便。 不知道是榻榻米關係，還是棉被，隔天給蝨還是蟲咬得很厲害，右手、左右腿、右頸跟背面也有給咬，但右手比較嚴重，有超過二十處被咬，每晚都會癢醒，持續超過一星期。我有跟房東說給不知明東西咬，他只是給我塗日間防曬霜了事... 所有設備都很簡陋，建議要前往這個地方的旅客可選擇白浜那邊，住宿選擇應該比較多。

게스트하우스인데 역 바로 앞이라 구마노고도 트래킹 때 거점으로 쓸만하다는 점 외엔 추천하고 싶지 않습니다. 한 방에 다른이와 함께 자야하는데다 추워요. 여기서 컨디션 크게 나빠짐... 다나베 시의 게하 대부분이 이런 형태 숙소로 추정됩니다. 구마노고도 트래킹하시러 왔다면 역에서 버스타고 온천 들어가시는 게 더 낫지 않을까 싶습니다. 가격이 중요하시다면 이런 게하 이용하셔야할테고요. 시내에 편의점도 없습니다

이동하기 위한 최적의 장소”

침대가 아닌 다다미 방이어서 좋았고 정통 일본 목조 가옥을 그대로 게스트 하우스로 사용하는 것이어서 욕조와 부엌등 일본의 일반 가옥을 체험할수 있었다는 사실이 또 좋았는데 침대가 놓인 일반적 게스트 하우스보다 나로서는 가격도 싸고 훨씬 의미가 있었다. 무엇보다 기차역에서 나오면 게스트 하우스가 바로 있어서 내가 가려고 목적했던 구마노 고도로 가는 버스나 고야산이나 시라하마로 가는 기차도 늦은 시간, 이른 시간 걱정없이 탈수있었던 것이 정말 감사할 정도로 좋았다. 게스트 하우스의 매니저(주인)도 친절하고 영어로 의사 소통에도 불편이 없었다. Tentsuku Guesthouse에 이틀 묵었던 건 최상의 선택이었고 멋진 경험이었다!
