PARADISE”
First time travel to Puerto Galera and I will definitely come back to this place. The room was superb! It’s actually cold at night despite having no aircon. The view from our room is hands down great and I don’t mind climbing the long stairs as well just to reach the room. The breakfast was not bad, I quite enjoyed it. And food offered at the restaurants are good! So much to do at this place and 3days and 2nights is not enough! We found a great spot by the beach where we just relaxed while drinking our fresh coconut juice. I can’t commend this place enough! So thoughtful as they provide a huge beach bag for you to put your things. The kuya who takes care of our villa even provided some freshly baked macaron for fee! Great customer service! The staff and the kuya’s offering boat transfers where kind and great as well. It would have been perfect if the water in the room is not sea water but all in all everything is great. Just bring your own drinking water as the 1liter water bottle here is expensive and they only provide you free water once a day. All in all, I will really come back to this place! Hopefully soon!

Perfect holiday location in the middle of the rainforest ”
The staff of the resort was very welcoming and always available. We really liked the food at the restaurant, especially the breakfast outreached our expectations. The international, Asian as well as the Italien restaurant have high quality food. The resort has a private beach and is situated in the rainforest. We can highly recommend to go here with a friend, as a couple or a family!

We were stranded because of a typhoon, and the resort management had us stay for free! They even helped us book our boat back to Batangas. The Kawayan cabins are such an awesome experience, will definitely go back! Recommending this place!

If you have strong knees to climb stairs with, no problem. Apart from the hilly location, this place is perfect! I love the rooms, the staff, the location, the beach, the pools, the food! I wanna come back!

Just perfect place -you fill like in paradis - a place to relax and if you want to be active the free boat tours are all so good - the staff is accommodatin and so friendly - the food and driks are tasteful. Absolut excelent and to recommend !!!

Value of Money - Mura lang food nila at the same time masarap. Location - Private Resort and relaxing. Take note. yung ibang cottage nila nasa mataas na part ng resort. Cleanliness - Malinis naman pero yung sa silent pool hindi nalilinis kasi hindi ganung nagagamit. pero the best Jacuzzi nila. Staff- Sobrang bait nila. Laging naka smile. Hindi ka mahihiyang mag ask. Facilities - may ibang facilities lang na walang nag babantay kasi siguro konti lang din yung tao nung pumunta kami.. pero nakakatuwa kasi ang dami nilang activities. almost 101 activities. Kung pupunta kayo mas ok na 2 nights ++ para sulit.

We enjoyed our stay but there are few things we wish we knew before booking: most rooms are on the hills so make sure you can walk stairs or ask for rooms down hills. Pool is not that nice like in photo, low level water. No chairs or umbrellas on the beach. Beach has lots of dry corals hard to walk on. You can not wear bikinis in restaurant even it’s beach front. Lots of mosquitoes of course so be prepared. Cocktails need improvement mostly frozen or super sweet with cordial. Need to pay for small boat to get there and back and the price is depends on negotiation with the boatman. We got a boat he agreed with 300peso but when we get there he said 700 because he was helping carrying the luggage??? I said no and gave him exactly 300 because I know it is already more than enough for the trip. He was not happy and it almost ruined our day. The resort should have organise this better as it is the only transport available to get there. The free boat tour was nice but you usually ended up paying for extra service like getting smaller boat to go to snorkelling spots (200/p for each spot) because the big boat just stop at one spot and nothing much to see there (smart). So we enjoyed it but ended up paying a fortune. The main restaurant is good and has everything, you do not need to walk all the way uphill for the Asian cuisine.

Great place, intimate setting, loved it”
Came for 2 nights and stayed ~8. Exceptional. Great(!!) kitchen. Thanks to service family Zaldy and Maricar. Be nice to them! Very capable front desk, arrival (10pm) and departure (9am) was flawless. Just be aware of a few things: 1) it's hard to leave the property and go to the town. You need to go with a boat (300php per trip, 600 after 6pm), or walk up the hill and go with a motorbike (get bike first, staff might be able to assist. Maybe someone is willing to guide you). 2) the lovely(!!) rooms are NOT sound proof. 3) there are quiet a few steps to the room, which was no problem. 4) bring all your essentials, i.e. cigs/alc/shampoo, limited shopping possibilities 5) there is NO hot water, you're used to it after 2nd shower and you'll love it after the 4th, so no worries. 6) water might run out, no problem thanks to service fam (they'll provide buckets of water). 7) no wifi/signal in the rooms, at pool/dining there's wifi but weak during peak hours, very limited mobile signal, so if you need digital entertainment, download prior to arrival. Enjoy the downtime!

Relaxing and Ambience is great”
It was great staying in Coco Beach Island Resort. Place is relaxing and the food is delicous. I hope they change the location of the family staying with senior or older person. They cant walk that high to return on the room. They offering free activities like island hoping. It was a bad choice to join it, because our boat didn't tour us. We stop in the middle and they let us swim. Were dissapointed, we hoping that the boat will bring us to island. Im will still going back to Coco Beach but will NOT join again free activities. Maybe we will pay for island hoping to make it worth a vacation stay. Thank you.

Great Place At A Bargain Price”
Okay - took a bit to get to, but worth the effort. Huts on the hills over looking the water! Went for the peace and quiet and that's what you can get here. Food service to your room too if you want it! Romantic - you bet! Book it today. .. make use of their free island hopper - really makes your days an adventure. NOTE: I only went because I got a very good 50% off deal. If it was full price this review might be a little different, but not much!

Great getaway from Manila but harder to get to now”
The Coco Beach Resort is a recipe for hotel success. The host families take care of you and bring a sense of community to the resort. Meanwhile, you are surrounded by beautiful nature and get to stay in a traditional nipa hut style room, which are well maintained by the host families! This is my second visit - It's always nice to stay here.

Place was beautiful but many things seem to be running down and not up Keep”
We could not land on the beach because it was low tide. We had to walk along the edge of jagged rocks. My wife almost fell backwards and would have been a serious injury or could of killed her. If it had a walkway I would recommend the place. Definitely a beautiful location! Thank you

Pros: no tv, weak wifi.. thats why u get to enjoy time with family and focus on nature. Cons: im a returning guest, back in the 90s, service families and staff are much warm and friendly. They dont hesitate to greet u. They were friendly to not only foreign guests but to locals/Filipinos too Choice or food selections and how they are portioned need to improve, big time! Especially if people are willing to pay the price the resort is asking for. Improve the food please!

Pleasant stay except for...”
The water supply for general use which was treated saltwater. We had no idea about this so we were not prepared. The soap and toothpaste we bought did not work well with the treated saltwater so it was really difficult to bath and brush.
