Best beachfront resort in Matabungkay!”
When we first arrived there and saw the area, I was very happy because it was just what I want for a getaway — not too crowded resort space, beautiful pool (with jacuzzi), and architectural design that boasts of simplicity and functionlity. The room is very spacious and PWD-friendly. The pool is always clean and the hot jacuzzi is a plus! The restaurant and game room area have good design and vibes into it. There are board games available too. There are several seats and tables facing the beach so you can chill out while watching the beautiful sunset/sunrise and the waves. The beach in Matabungkay is just fair. There are LOTS of seaweeds on the shore when we were there but the staff of Coral Beach Club cleaned them Sunday morning. I’m not a fan of the floating cottages as it block the view of the sea. There are also people renting the cottages who were not responsible enough to take out their trashes thereby polluting the sea. You can see a lot of garbage on the shore as well. The Coral Beach Club resort itself is a good place to stay. If you are planning to go to Matabungkay, stay here. You’ll get what you pay for :)

We had the best time here and can't wait to come back and bring our family. The view from the "Sea View" room that we stayed at is stunning, the room is huge and clean, with own balcony and we super loved the king sized chiropractic bed. For us, staying here is hassle-free. We appreciate their "charge to room" process so we don't have to bring cash all the time whenever we order something at their bar. If you are looking for a serene place to relax and unwind, i highly recommend this Coral Beach Club. This place is perfect for any celebrations and the staff are really nice. You can stay at the beach and shoreline as long as you want unlike other beaches with cut-off time. You can rent a balsa, enjoy a sumptuous meal prepared by the bangkero and watch the sunset from there. The bankeros also accepts gcash as payment so you dont have to carry cash while at the beach. Their FB photos doesn't showcase the beauty of this place much thus we're glad this was featured in Agoda.

Recommended for a weekend getaway”
Spent the weekend here. The resort itself is a good choice. Staffs are superbly friendly and very attentive to your needs. The food is also good and there are a lot of choices. They also have a bar that offers a lot of drink options. The indoor pool is big enough to allow guests enough space for each other and they have a jacuzzi with real hot water (other jacuzzi’s I have tried from other resorts are either lukewarm or cold lol). The room is very spacious. We got the ocean view room and it’s big enough to fit 4 to 5 pax. They use comfortable beddings and there’s an extra pull out bed. They provide towels and basic toiletries, water in a dispenser in your own room (awesome), and instant coffee. There’s cable TV and a hair blower too. The owner also roams around the resort hence you’d know that they try to maintain the quality of service they provide. Only downside is the beach itself - too crowded especially because of the balsas and the water is polluted with dead seaweed and random trash :( Our goal was to swim in the beach but ended up just using the pool and jacuzzi throughout our stay

It has been my 2nd stay at Coral Beach Club. The place is a perfect place to stay while enjoying your vacation. Place is clean. Rooms are spacious. Aircon is cold. Towels are provided, even for beach towel. They are at the beach front. They also have a restaurant. Food taste so delicious. They also have games available with no extra payment - billiards, darts, scrabble, jengga and other board games. They have a big pool and jacuzzi. Above all, their customer service is exceptional. They respond to my inquiries. They also work to make my requests poasible. They always give their best smile whenever you are talking to them. Even the one who cleaned the rooms they are so courteous. Donna, Gina and other staff are reallyexceptional. Kudos! I booked this plave twice- 1st was my fiancè's birthday - they helped me with my surprise. 2nd was my prenup. They were all supportive.

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation”
I've read so many reviews for CBC and i was really impressed. From all the staff to the facilities even the Guard on Duty was needless to say a perfect combination. My Family arrived earlier than me and they managed to check in and got rooms assigned to them. The Beach in front was not as i was expecting because some of the reviews says it was a bit dirty but when we were there, it was clean. The place is peaceful and quite (except on our last day when there were Korean groups who were so drunk and even threw up at both the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool which annoyed us so much as we saw it and would not want the kids go to the water again on our last day). I guess that was what disappointed me a bit because i expect the pool water to be cleaned but i guess that will take a lof of time and there were so many guests so i understand why they didn't. I will probably echo the same sentiments as the other reviews that the food is pricey but at the same time was really good. THANK YOU ALL

Great Experience”
Best place to stay in Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas. Wonderful Staff run by D.J. Great Food (American, Filipino, and what ever your heart desired with awesome deserts and drinks. Rooms were clean and grounds very well kept. What you see in the pictures posted on the website is real. Security Staff was Helpful and wonderful to be around, will miss them all. Thank you for 11 wonderful days.

First timer at Coral beach club”
Its our first time to visit coral beach. We requested for an early check in, upon arrival around 1130am luckily the room was available and its a pool view room. Food was superb! The pool is clean but the beach is not good enough for you to swim. But I guess the beach is for "balsa" purposes. But everything was excellent! All staff are friendly :) I guess the resort is recommended for family with kids. We will recommend this resort. Thank you coral beach club :)

We love the total package of the beach club, it is not big but that makes it more special, it is not crowded, the place is clean, the staff are very nice and friendly plus honest, we left our phone and the staff deliver it personally in our room. The environment is very accomodating. You get what you paid for and more! The food is delicious and with reasobale price, the kids love the place will definetely go back😍

The place is superb. Staff are very accomodating and great, very affordable price of food. I love the home made longanisa.😍 . We also, love our room "beach view" so clean and Pool side is nice and not crowded. Pros wifi, but our purpose is to relax and unwind. So it's not an issue for us.. 😃. We really enjoy our stay and will definitely visit this resort soon.

Continuation: I would commend the CHEF but i hope if there is a way to get a bit of cheaper plates, would be great. I don't know if anything can be done with the Flies roaming around but hopefully there can be like fumigation once in a while. There weren't mosquitoes though which was really impressive. Oh and i love their SISIG, i probably ordered more than 5 plates of it. lolz.... Anyways, very much recommended and i'd probably gonna be there everytime we decide to have a vacation in Batangas area. Worth every penny. Thanks again every from all the staff to the guards. Location is just 3hrs away from Manila. The staffs are always smiling, from the security guard, reception, waiter, household! The rooms are great and clean. The facilities are awesome! They dont charge for usage of gaming area. The bar is to die for! They have complete drinks, happy hour and awesome menu! I will definitely go back!

This is probably the nicest hotel in the area. The facilities are clean, well-stocked, and the staff are super friendly. The beach is ok, wasn't expecting much. BUT THE FOOD, omg. I was shocked at how good the dishes are. The beef my husband ordered is soft and flavorful, and the Charlie Chan chicken pasta had more herbs, veggies, and peanut than commercial ones. Yummy and serving sizes are huge.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a weekday so there weren't much guests. PROS: The friendliness & service of the staff. The Owner was warm too - he always had a greeting & smile. Every detail was well thought of to provide comfort to Guests. The pool is just the right size & the heated jacuzzi was perfect to combat the cold weather. The premier garden view room we stayed in was clean, simple yet spacious; good cable TV channel options; aircon was new & clean. T&B in our room was spacious; good water pressure, hot & cold water; basic toiletries provided. The resort has a gift shop, spa/massage service. A lot of stores around the area. PWD-friendly. Place is private & great for relax time. Food offered at the restaurant are good for 2 & delicious too (but prices are a bit steep). Good wifi signal. Beachfront of resort is okay. CONS: (NOT fault of resort) Matabungkay Beach is not as clean. Be wary of Vendors. Some guests can be loud. Weak celphone signal in rooms.

Stayed here for 4 nights with wife and 2 young kids. Location is good as beach is easily accessible. Aside from the free breakfast, food is all tasty.. from the pizza to pork or beef dishes. Price is not cheap but good value for money. They could use some "grilled/roasted fish or meat" in their menu, something beach goers are looking for. We had a blast using the billiards table, swimming and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Staff are very friendly and are attentive to your needs and requests. Will definitely visit this resort again.

Very Child Friendly Place”
My 2y/o kid really enjoyed the stay as the pool is really child friendly, only 4ft deep even the sea side is amazing. The staffs are really kind and approachable, they are always smiling even the guard on duties they are very approachable. Rooms are clean. Foods are tasty. Pool is clean also.

Great for family getaway”
Very accomodating ang mga staffs nila. Malinis, maganda and very private ang place. Kahit puno ang mga rooms nila. Hindi ganoon ka overcrowded ang resort. Kaya kung ayaw mo ng mataong lugar. This is the place for you. Magkakatabi lang ang mga rooms, swimming pools and restaurant. Hindi na maglalakad ng malayo. Beach front din sila. Huwag masyadong mag expect sa beach, maraming mga boats and floating cottages. Hindi rin makakapagtampisaw ng maayos dahil dito. May sarili din silang parking area.

For a quick quarantine getaway, it is very accessible. A lot of food and drink choices. Taste wise, food was good too! Room was very clean and spacious for a very cheap price. Some staff were warm and some were just 'mehh.' Too bad the jacuzzi wasn't working.

Exceptional ”
I booked our vacation 1month ahead. And the first thing is it’s so easy to amend the arrival date, because we had to move it earlier. Once we were there it’s easy to notice and feel how accommodating the people are, they always answer their guests promptly with a smile. Facilities are very beautiful. The food is pricey but they’re very good. I also love how calming the place is, it really is a very nice place to unwind. I would love to go back!!

This was our second time to come here and it did not disappoint. The place is nice and cozy, very relaxing beach front. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food was delicious and we love the fact that local and imported beers are available. Rooms are clean and have basic amenities. Will definitely come back.
