Almost Perfect Stay ”
This resort is a thumbs-up through and through…rooms are very clean and modern, food is awesome, place is unforgettable, customer service is almost perfect. I say almost perfect because it’s lacking in one aspect and that is how to return to their guests personal items that were accidentally left behind. Honestly I don’t think they have a policy and procedure on how to carry it out. People who have travelled a lot and have stayed in hotels, especially in famous ones, know it very well that if they leave personal stuff, they know that one way or another, they will be able to get them back. Well in my case, I called the resort immediately upon knowing (when they told us, we were near the airport already and turning back not obviously an option). We asked them how we could get it back. They suggested measures that when we got to Manila wasn’t doable because LBC didn’t do this service while LALAMOVE was out of their service range. I informed the resort about it and the staff said she’ll discuss it to management. Unfortunately it’s been a month now and no text, email or call. Honestly I was hoping good or bad, they should tell me at least. Btw I offered to pay them back whatever expenses that would incur or better yet, a COD. I just hope that they would create a P&P about situations like this. I’m sure my case won’t the first or last or their only one. Afterall, this is still a part of good customer service.

Chill out in comfort”
Excellent location, lots to do or simply hang out at the lovely pool. Life on the river is beautiful. Such a charming place -very helpful staff who are always so polite with a smile on their face. Feeding the monkeys and chickens, riding the water buffalo, seeing the amazing fireflies down the river at night thrilled our children. Paddle boarding and kayaking was great too but an extra charge. Room was lovely but too small for all 4 of us. Despite booking for 4, they still expected our 9 year old son to sleep in our bed, whilst our daughter had a mattress on the floor. We expressed our concern of 3 of us sleeping comfortably in our bed, so they then charged us an extra 1000 pesos a night for another mattress. A family size room is definately needed. Building is happening so as it grows i hope it won't lose its charm. Going across the bridge and into Loboc on the path is well worth it too. Quiet and charming. Loved it.

Amazing ”
Fantastic tree huts with great air con , most friendliest people I have ever met . Food is lovely, and the whole area indoors is fantastically clean, outside you will see lots of ants " but it's in the middle of the forest " if you don't like nature don't go , if you do it's the best hide away ever . We will be going back, they made my birthday very special, we were asked to join in with their parade around the town and then to join them all for lunch and Activities after . As a surprise they all caught me unaware with a happy birthday song ! They really are an Amazing bunch of people. Well worth a visit. Towels for the pool are there. Tea and coffee facilities in the huts available.

If you’re looking for an alternative from the beach while in Bohol, Loboc River Resort ticks a lot of boxes. The location is superb, it sits alongside a beautiful tropical river which is truly mesmerizing! To use this as a base for touring the Chocolate Hills and the rest of the island worked very well. Having your own car or motorcycle is the way to go. The restaurant food is of great quality with quite a varied menu and also good value. The staff are the best that I have seen in the whole of the Philippines..... very well trained! My friend who I was travelling had come down with a bad stomach condition prior to our arrival. The day that we arrived, we asked the front desk if they could advise us of a local clinic. Not only did they give us solid advice, but the manager Clai insisted on accompanying us to the clinic and then onto the nearby hospital. It took 5hrs of her time and refused to be compensated for her time. A giant Thank-you from Pete and Randall, Canada.

Good place for solo retreat”
I came here for a solo retreat. The place didn't disappoint my expectations. It had a quiet and calm atmosphere. The restaurant was situated near the river so you have a breathtaking view everytime you dine. Rooms are like individual native cottages. I got the forest view room. It's a bit dated and some parts need fixing, but the rooms are really clean. The bed is really comfortable. There's a patio where you can sit and have a cup of coffee or read a book. Firefly watching is a must!

Lovely resort and staff, all operating at a high standard. Staff make an effort to remember your name and you're greeted everyone you cross paths. Clean and comfortable room. Staff attentive to anything that can be improved in your room. Restaurant had good food and drinks at good price. Location is lovely and to spend time with a river activity id fun. The resort owner also was very lovely. Thanks to all staff again. Special thanks Clai, Christy, Joanna and Chum Chum.

Excellent stay”
This place is great. From the staff to the restaurant to the rooms. We upgraded to a river cabin. It was great. Nothing I can find to complain about. The front desk girl Jude went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us. All of the staff was great. I am looking forward to the next trip to Bohol. And the Loboc River Resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I hope next time it’s longer.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Restaurant had lots of choice and reasonably priced with a wonderful view over the river. Rooms are lovely and spacious. The pool is beautiful and walking around the resort is wonderful, they’ve retained a really authentic feel. Air con is quite noisy and we had a problem with ants in our bathroom but these were minor things. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful surroundings for a great resort”
The resort is well run and set on the beautiful and clean Loboc River. Our room was a bit older but well maintained, although the shower head was not good. The restaurant was great and staff were lovely.

We honestly couldn’t rate this place high enough, we had the most beautiful 3 nights stay. The food, drinks and service were impeccable and it was in a great location to see all the beautiful sites that bohol has to offer! Was a little further away from the main hustle and bustle of Bohol but 100% worth the small trek to be in absolute paradise Thank you for starting our trip in the most incredible way, we can’t wait to come back

Bali in the philippines”
Best resort in bohol.. the stuff and the place itself was exceptional !! Best river view best food and the best service.. definitely gonna come back to this place.. staying here feels like youre in bali but in the philippines actually its better than bali in my opinion!

We had a great stay. The place is so nice, if you are a nature lover this place is for you. I would also like to mention that their staffs are top notch in customer service specially the ones in the restaurant. Kepp it up 😊

Perfect hotel to chill and relax and do a bit of jungle sightseeing”
The staff is amazing here. Everyone treats you so nice, it was easy to rent scooters and head off to see the chocolate hills and the tarsiers. If your looking for shopping or lots of food options tag city is about 30 minutes away but the resort food is ok if you feel like staying close. We loved the pool and the amenities for the kids. Nice soft beds and air con. Wish water pressure was a bit more but I realize that’s a tiny thing. Sign said WiFi was spotty in the rooms and that was true but I didn’t have an issue with that really. Excited to return and see the new family rooms being built as well as the new pool. The local village is so kind and welcoming to us. We look forward to returning!

Great hotel in a beautiful location ”
This resort is set right on the River with stunning views from the rooms & restaurant Food is great with plenty of choice & we arranged all our tours through the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Definitely recommend !!

We've traveled all over the world and the River View Suite w/bathrub on the patio at the Loboc River Hotel is one of our favorite rooms we've ever stayed in. Hotel in general is awesome, 5/5 stars all around. Highly recommend.

Amazing resort to stay! ”
A friend recommended that we stay at LRR for our Bohol trip. And me and my daughter were not disappointed. Though the travel going to the resort is quite far, we were welcomed and warmly greeted by Cristy and Joanne at the reception. Very accommodating and friendly as they checked us in. All the staff were amazing and friendly. The ambience of the resort is amazing! We booked the river view villas..big, comfortable, clean and the view is superb with terrace! So relaxing and peaceful. I suggestion though, to provide bigger water bottles inside the room, as there are quests who drinks alot like me. Even the restaurant has a great view of the Loboc River. Wide ranges of food to choice from at affordable prices...we had a hard time choosing our breakfasts as we wanted to try all haha! Ideal to book at this resort because sights are near the area, you can maximize your time. Staff were helpful and happy to arrange our tours. Great stay at the resort! We will surely return!

Lovely place ”
Pool was awesome and food was great! There was also free table tennis. Room was beautiful and staff was very friendly. If we go to Bohol again, we will definitely stay in this Resort!

Amazing hotel for a getaway 💕”
Hotel was in a super calm and peaceful neighborhood. Staffs are super helpful and friendly and the foods they prepare are cheap but super tasty! All of the foods we ate were delicious 🤤 hope to stay here longer this time. Thank you for being very accommodating and welcoming. 🧡
