Average but better than most in white beach”

I would just about recommend this place purely because the majority of the alternatives in this area are not so good. The room is nice enough but very dark. The shower room is small with no complimentary toiletries, one roll of toilet paper and if you need more you have to pay. The fridge is empty, no complimentary water, again have to pay for a small bottle so stock up elsewhere. The breakfast was extremely basic and certainly not worth the extra. The room is only cleaned twice per day so the overall feeling was not very customer focused. The location however is great, very peaceful yet still right on the beach. There is a nice little adjoining bar/restaurant right in the beachfront as part of the complex which is very pleasant to sit at. White beach area itself is nice but did not live up to my expectations, there are far better value for money places to visit in the Philippines.

Relaxing time in the white beach area of Puerto Guelera where you are in the right spot for enjoying the atmosphere but not being too crowded as if in the middle of the crowd. Great spot great staff and very affordable

This was my first time at White Beach, and honestly the hotel was perfect. Location was good, the staff couldn't be more helpful, they were excellent. The room was small but clean and well presented. Could do with a safety deposit box and a fridge, but otherwise perfect. Next door within 10 footsteps is an excellent little English bar (Beach Frog) who also are very friendly and do the best pie and chips outside of England....followed by an English breakfast on the beach...perfect!

Place is nice! Very clean! Friendly staff!!! My room is right in front of the pool! Have my own balcony were i can smoke and just chill place is slightly far from the party place so its quite at night at the bar while drinking beer and enjoying the beach cold weather at night... just right!!! Its like you have your own private place!!!

Amazing place!”

Great place if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful resort to relax. Their location is far from the busy and party area of Puerto Galera. The room is clean and spacious, we stayed in their Nipa Hut room btw. Their staff are always smiling and very helpful, specially Mang Nestor. There is a small bar right beside Summer Connection who serves delicious food and drinks so you dont need to walk at night just to look for one. We will definitely go back. Such a wonderful place to relax!

The Better Side of White Beach”

The resort is located near the end of the shore where it is relatively quieter. It’s about a 5-minute walk to where the bars are. Nice, long pool with huts and long table. Nice view. The room was a little small but still comfortable. The breakfast is just a simple meal but you can order more at a cheap price. Will come back. ☺️

Excellent location, right on the beach. The Manager Nestor was always ready to assist. Loved his attitude and telling us - don’t worry, you are on vacation. And the lady at the restaurant Maybel, she was always greeting us with a smile and even ordered extra beers for us. Highly recommend this place.

It was a very satisfying stay. Staffs were accomodating, room was so nice and clean, and good facilities. Everything seems to be perfect except of the rate. It's quite a bit pricy but it worth the price.

The service is excellent--they are very accommodating. The location is perfect--beach front. There is round-the-clock security. I stayed in one of the huts in front of the pool, which I think is the perfect spot. You can't go wrong with this place, big group or small. Just don't expect much from their kitchen.

Perfect hotel for a few days away from the city”

Went there for a few days with friends. Convenient location on White Beach but not too close from the hustle of the restaurants and bars. Rooms are simple but clean and there is air conditionning. Very nice swimming pool and friendly staff. Would stay there again, thank you!

Warm friendly staff”

Shout out too Nestor and his team for being great hosts. They gave us a warm welcome and made sure that we got our needs in the island covered. Our requests were met with pleasure from them, and they made sure that we enjoyed their stay. Their location was in the far side of the island, so it is more quiet compared when you are in the middle. They have great food especially since it is part of their package. Overall, I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Great location on the quieter side of White beach. Very friendly staff who is helping to book all activities, boat tour, return boat, tricycle etc. it's extremely helpful! Very nice and clean infinity pool with view on the sea. Super relaxing and pleasant stay, highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely staff, peaceful location ”

The owner and his family are wonderful! My 2 friends and I originally booked a double hut with extra bed for 2 nights. We were upgraded to a bigger room with 2 doubles and a balcony overlooking the beach at no extra charge. The staff helped arrange transport and tours quickly with advice about the area. The room was big and very clean. The location at the end of the beach is good if you're looking for something quiet and relaxing away from all the loud music played on the main stretch at night. It's a short walk to town and very peaceful. You can see the beach right from the pool. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended another night.

Our stay is short...but definetly i will go back here. I experience an awsome customer service, food is pricey but big in servings, location-its is a place where you want to have your chill time away from all the crowd...if you are tired swimming in the beach, you can swim in there outdoor pool...

Great location, nice staff”

Summer Connection is situated at the far side of White Beach in Puerto Galera, which is good especially if you want to be away from the bustling night life. The hotel is right at the beach front so it's better to walk along the beach once you arrive from the boat terminal to access the hotel. The easy access to the beach and relative quiet of the hotel compared to others made Summer Connection a win for me. The staff here were nice and check in was quick. The standard room was okay, it had the expected amenities like air-conditioning and cable TV. The bed was good enough for two, the pillows were soft but the blanket provided was a bit thin. The water pressure in the shower was weak but at least the hot shower was working. There's a pool in front of the room but it wasn't working at the time I was there. Summer Connection offers free breakfast from 7-10am, where you have the option to choose a Filipino breakfast, continental breakfast, or omelette set.

Pleasant Stay”

It was a wonderful experience for an inexpensive price. The rooms are clean, AC works great, comfortable beds and a place to shower. The hotel offers a clean place to sleep, shower, and a good free breakfast. All within an excellent location of White Beach. Far enough down that it is quiet at night, but close enough to have everything within an easy walk. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Basic amenities, but if you are looking for a good location and a clean room, this is the place. Will definitely stay again if I return to Puerto Galera. Need to upgrade the wifi....

Great Location”

If you want peace and quiet in Puerto Galera but still want to be a few feet away from all the nighttime chaos, Summer Connection is a good option. Far enough from the videoke screams, but near enough the night bar scene if you so chose to partake. All in all satisfied, especially the nipa a/c huts for a little more privacy.

Love the place. One of the beach front resorts that is away from noisy party life of Galera. This place is best for Couples n Families who are in family-fun type of bonding. The place is well maintained. And the mosquito net on each room provides a honeymoon feeling. Hoping their free breakfast options provide a much wider choices though. Nonetheless, the best place to stay in Galera. -Mike
