Best Hotel and beach in puerto galera! ”
This resort was beyond my expectations. The room is very clean. Staff are amazingly kind, helpful, friendly and attentive to your every need. Restaurant food has great quality too. We just wish that breakfast could be upgraded though. The beach....oh, wow....I never thought I'd enjoy Galera like this. Clear warm waters. You can do some snorkelling or just watch from your cozy hammock for turtles swimming by. We really enjoyed our stay, and we ended up extending it for another night! If you want a quiet time to enjoy nature at its best, this is the place. If you like walking, you can walk to white beach to explore. That would take 10 to 15 mins. You could also take a tricycle for P100 for two. But so far, this resort does the deal for a beautiful entire vacation. Amazingly complete!

Amazing ”
This hotel is just amazing. Stayed here for 3 nights in October and had the best time. The weather was prefect which made our stay even better. We lounged on the beach all day enjoying the views and very tasty drinks from the hotel bar. The beach was very quiet but the staff were always doing something. The staff at sunset are brilliant and cannot do enough for you. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The rooms are all perfectly located with sea views, our room could not have been closer to the beach. The location of the hotel Was prefect as it’s quiet but tricycles are easy to get and it’s a short ride to white beach a little longer to get to Sabang. The hotel arranged transfers to and from Manila airport which was well worth the price and I would recommended this to anybody as it’s all made very easy for you.

We booked 2 rooms for 3D2N. We arrived at the resort earlier than check-in time. On my reservation, I note that the rooms would be on the ground and/or 2nd floor because we have kids and seniors with us. Room1 was on the ground flr. Room2 was on the 3rd floor. I told the staff that it's not advisable for us to be on the 3rd. She looked for another room and we're transferred to the next bldg - room with the pool and ocean view! yey! Their staffs are accommodating and friendly. When we're swimming in the sea or pool area, they'd gave us towel or served us water even if we're not requesting for it. I thought food was a bit pricey, but the servings were good for sharing and the taste was good! so yeah, value for money. Rooms are cozy! Liked the bedding and pillow.. What I liked the most is that the place was not crowded. Relaxing.. exactly why we traveled..

Very nice place and people”
We love the hotel settings and the location is perfect they have the most beautiful sunset and also the people who own the hotel are very nice speially Tino we really had fun hanging with him and played finger games hes a very nice and funny guy and her mother is very nice too. thank you for making our stayed memorable even if just for one day. We supposed to stay for four days but due to corona virus we need to go back to manila because of the lockdown. But we will surely go back in puerto and stay again in this hotel.

Beautiful place”
All good reviews are true. The place is very relaxing and makes you want to extend your stay. The staff is very accomodating and willing to assist in all our requests ( allowed us an early checkin and even gave us an upgrade). The room has comfortable bed and lcd tv ( agoda shows old style tv and a much thinner matress for the deluxe queen room but the hotel already updated to new tvs and matress). The rooms have nice hot water shower, although the pressure is not very strong. Wifi might not work depending on the room. My only real con about the hotel is the breakfast. They only offer one option which is continental ( toast, 2 eggs at your choosing style, fruit or canned juice, coffee or tea. It gets tiring to eat everyday the same. They do have other tasty items in the menu, like pancake, hashbrowns, bacon, ham, but you have to pay all as a separate order. I wish we could have more options as included breakfast or be allowed to choose from the menu something of the same value.

Best resort in Puerto Galera”
Me and my family had an awesome stay at Sunset at Aninuan. The room was comfortable; the resort had its own private beach; the food servings were huge; the staff was the best; and, their plastic-free initiative was 💯! I’ll definitely stay there again on my next visit to Galera.

Paradise ”
This hotel is stunning, perfect secluded location which makes you feel like you are the only ones there. Very tasty food & spacious rooms! Sunset & beach front is beautiful & there’s some great snorkelling just in front of the resort. The staff were incredible we have never stopped anywhere where the staff are so attentive & helpful! We also spent our final night with the hotel manager at white beach, he showed us round & we had the perfect end to this part of our trip! Highly recommend

Beautiful location, fab staff”
The location is private and quiet, the beach and reef is clean. Staff are very helpful without being overbearing. Food delicious and fresh, although more local dishes could be on the menu. Love that the resort is making a huge effort to be plastic free and reduce waste. Only concern is that there are a lot of tripping hazards, especially around the pool and outside the rooms. Circular cement pathways that are raised and really want to catch our toes. Really great resort, would definitely recommend to all. We had a very large group of 48, 2 children/ infant and 2 80 year olds. All of us were well catered for and we had a fantastic time. Absolutely anything you need, they will help to accommodate you. We will, without a doubt be back again. Thank you to all the fabulous staff. We felt we were leaving home.

Location is great, clean beach front and quiet. The beach is swimmable, great for kids and snorkeling activities, there are so many fishes. The whole Aninuan beach is beautiful and clean, compared to the White beach area. Staffs are great, no need to call them, they know what you need. They give you water, towels and umbrella at the restaurant, pools and beach lounge when they think you need them. They are friendly and masipag. Food serving sizes are worth the money, food are delicious even the complimentary breakfast is simple but filling and delicious. The pool and pool side is outdated but the pool is clean and water is heated. The rooms are clean and the basic necessities are updated, cold aircon and the room is soundproof. We will definitely go back.

Great spot for a long weekend (or longer!)”
3rd time we visited Sunset at Aninuan during last 4 months;-) The perfect spot to escape Metro Manila. It is the best spot for families with kids of all different ages. The location is great for snorkling, diving, hiking or simply to sit down, have a drink and enjoy the view. The staff is simply outstanding in terms of service, support and friendliness. Great hidden gem away from the crowds ”
We arrived at Sunset full of expectations and it did not disappoint. Nice quiet nearly secluded beach, clean pool, not far from the mainstream white beach (less than 5 minutes by tricycle). Restaurant was very good with generous options. Our only complaint was lack of wifi in our rooms, you have to go out to the pool or lounge or restaurant areas which is strange for foreigners but when you think about how sketchy the internet is in this country it makes sense.. We will come again for sure.

The hotel is on a beautiful white sand private beach, with an outdoor café for breakfast and evening drinks. If needed they arrange car and boat service and have a great dive center. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We had a great visit as usual!

Peaceful Stay”
Sunset at Aninuan is in a great location if you do not like being at party central all the time. But it is close enough to enjoy the party scene at the other shoreline simply by walking over the rocks, or by taking a trike. We found the beds to be comfortable, and the balcony lounge was a real bonus. The staff were very courteous and helpful too. Will definitely return for another relaxing getaway!

Staff were always smiling! The location was super nice (for people like me who likes a nice quiet place) far from the noise of night life. The food choices were quite expensive but it was plenty for single serving.

Couple of nights ”
We were back in Mindoro to visit family but wanted a short break for just me my wife and our 4 year old. Sunset was better than expected the family deluxe room had plenty of space and a nice sized balcony albeit we didn't end up using it much. The staff are fantastic friendly and extremely helpful especially assisting to keep our 4 year old entertained. The private beach was just what we needed a quiet place for us to relax and for our son to play. White beach is not far if you want a livelier scene but sunset resort provides a nice contrast to white beach. Would definitely return.
