I love Tribal Hills.”

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The views are awesome. The rooms are large and lovely with a very nice balcony. Staff is just great. A very nice pool. Very good food in an open-air restaurant with spectacular view. I just can't say enough about this place. If you go to Puerto Galera you can't go wrong. You will love it as much as we did.

Excellent Staff”

The hotel is on a hill with a very steep incline. If you decide to walk, it will be a very good exercise! The staff will transport you for free if you ask though. The very acomodating and friendly staff and owner makes the stay here very enjoyable. You can cut through a wooded area across fro the hotel to a barely populated beach with fine white sand. If you go to White Beach, I recommend the Veranda Restaurant! Excellent food of high caliber for a small price.

Perfect Getaway! ”

I would like to special mention Shane, Lea and Kuya Jessie. Customer service is beyond perfection. They may not have the best/ high end facilities but their service is incomparable! They are not in the beach area/front but the view of the mountains/greens are more relaxing. So quiet away from the chaos of white beach. But dont fret, their free service shuttle can take you everywhere!!! I feel like I have grab/uber on call... if i have to go back to puerto, i’ll definitely still choose Tribal Hills

We got the standard room which is quite big. Peaceful and quite location due to the location on a hill unlike resorts that are situated near the beachfront. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Quiet retreat with amazing views”

Had a great time, location in brilliant up in the hill removed from the noise and heat. A short trip to white beach and very close to Aninuan beach. Talipanan beach and falls are an unspoiled gem. The shuttle service was extremely handy and flexible. Restaurant boasts stunning views over the coast and decent food. Stayed in the delux suite with a huge balcony and woke up to stunning mountain views each morning. Would definitely go back and recommend to all.

Value for Money”

If you're searching for a place where you can relax from the bustling scenery of White Beach' resorts, Tribal Hills is a place to go. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating, specially the drivers that plays a very vital role. They have free shuttle service which is very helpful in travelling around Puerto Galera. The food is a bit pricey but can be justified by the taste and servings. Hopefully next time we can try their ATV and outdoor activities.

The rooms are quite nice very large with fantastic views ( i had the penthouse which was doubly blessed) great pool area I did take the tour to aunien falls it was challenge for me The free shuttle to white beach was a nice bonus

Highly Recommended”

We stayed there from March 1-3 and the place was just perfect! The view was gorgeous and the staff very helpful and courteous, especially Leah who even helped us book a ferry back to the Batangas port. The place was more than what we expected, large room with a great view. Simply a wonderful experience.

Once you get over the steep drive up Tribal hills property your dream vacation will start.Their level of customer service is beyond 5 stars. All of their employees from the front office (Shane and Lea), kitchen staff, to the activities coordinator, housekeeping and (Jessie) shuttle drivers, all genuinely strives to go an extra mile to take care of you. Free Shuttle service to/fro the port, to the beach and to the nature park. Your room will be clean and ready when you arrive. Free Pocket-WiFi you can carry around the island. You can pre-order your meals in advance. Pools are very clean. We will definitely be back and stay longer.

Excellent as usual. I had the corner superior suite, and I informed the receptionist that a couple of the floorboard nails were protruding about 2mm. She promised to fix this.

A great location on a top of the hill”

Very clean, very well maintained. Great owner with properly trained staff. Setup is little on budget, but again this location would need a great hike in price to get it upgraded. Amazing solution for staying in the area ..... and the view is splendid....

The price is not cheap but it was very worth it, from its nature view of Puerto Galera's famous Mt. Masalimbo, to its romantic and very relaxing pool and bar setting. Staff were very accommodating, foods are great, the surprise free tour guide to the Aninuan Falls and the free shuttle to and from places... Over all was great, a huge thumbs up! Will surely come back and will recommend this place to all of my family and friends!

Don't let the location deter you... This place is great!”

This place is located on a hilltop not is far from the beach. They provide a free shuttle that will take you almost anywhere, so they understand that the shuttle is the lifeline of the hotel. At the resort, the mountain views are an amazing contrast to the beach. The views from the restaurant are amazing. The restaurant cooks great food, but just understand it's a local kitchen and takes a while to receive your food, so order in advance. My only gripe is that the standard rooms don't have a small basic fridge, or even a kettle. But, they provide small wifi routers so you connect anywhere. This place is much better than the busy small places near white beach, with transient guests coming in and out. You can actually relax here and enjoy amazing views!

Peaceful location, super friendly staff and owner, nice restaurant”

I stayed there with my girlfriend for 6 nights. Probably the best hotel in town. 1.5 km away from the white sand beach but the shuttle is ready to drive you at any time. Very nice owner family and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. From the restaurant we enjoyed the stunning view every morning when we had the breakfast. I can recommend this hotel and will come back again when I travel to Puerto Galera.

Really enjoyed our stay at Tribal Hills. Although the location is a bit out of the way, there's a shuttle available to and from White Beach. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. The Filipino food at the restaurant is good quality, very fresh. Not to mention the restaurant has an amazing view. We enjoyed our chatting with the owner Kuya Owen. We would definitely stay again. Amazing Trip! Perfect Spot To Relax😎”

This place was awesome! We were welcomed by everyone and had a courtesy shuttle pick us up. They have an amazing view from the Hills of the ocean. It has a very clean pool, a real one, and my girlfriend and I lounged in it by ourselves. Although it seemed to have customers come and go it was always easy to get any accommodations necessary and the food was excellent! I have been back three times, and it is now our standard place of residence when visiting Puerta Galera. Lastly the staff was amazing headed up by its owner Owen. A very well informed man of the world which catered to our interests and needs. This place is a 10 plus but the review only lets you recommend 5 stars. Enjoy the fun in the Hills!! Kevin O

Great mountain view aside from the view of the ocean. Big veranda in our room. Fresh air. Quite far from the beach but they got free shuttle service. Resto has good food. Great to stay with kids.

Had the Penthouse suite. It was awesome. Mountain and ocean view from the huge veranda. Staff excellent. It's secluded on the side of the mountain but they'll free shuttle you to the nearby beaches and restaurants pretty much anytime on request. Free pocket Wi-Fi we could take anywhere. Nice colorfully lit pool. They'll bring your restaurant meal down to the pool upon request. I've been all over the Philippines and this was one of the best stays I I've ever had in the provinces. Scooter rental, quad rental. They'll guide you to a nearby waterfall. Fantastic experience.

Vacation Haven”

Excellent vacation spot for those who needed peace and rest. Located in the mountains around 5 min away from the beach by shuttle provided by the resort. It provided the privacy we needed from the crowd during peak season in April.
