Great budget choice ”
This hotel has magnificent balconies that look over the river and offer great sunset views (get the deluxe room). The bed was comfy and the staff were really nice and helped us easily rent a motorbike & airport driver. They also have a sauna room. And the location is perfect - close to everything but not noisy. On the down side - they obviously need to do some updates. The elevator seemed to be on it’s last gasp and our a/c broke down (though they quickly switched us to a different room). Also, don’t buy the breakfast option - there are tons of places to eat that are tastier and cheaper.

Excellent Hotel”
An excellent hotel with friendly guesthouse feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked for 2 days and stayed 1 week! Room was clean with firm bed and good views from window. Excellent breakfast choice of 12 items from menu; baguette and eggs, pancake, Noodles museli etc. 2 mins to beach and 5 to town centre. Would stay here again.

Great staff, nice location”
I stayed here for more than a month, while combining remote work with visiting friends in Hue. The staff made my stay very easy and comfortable. The rooms are big, well taken care of and very clean. Breakfast is good. Wifi is fast and quite stable. The location is nice, as there are many restaurants nearby, you are a 3-5 minutes walk from the river and if you want to go sightseeing, there are always cyclos in front of the hotel, or you just call the best motorbike tour people: Hue Riders. Can't wait to come back to this hotel again. Would'nt choose any other place but Thai Binh II!

The best view of Da Nang”
Our room were spacious and clean, there are computers in each of the rooms. The bathroom was clean and big. The only downfall is one of the room we have (room 801 or 2), the balcony was magnificent, but if they could invest in some faux barrier. Because the balcony is shared between 2 rooms, it makes it hard because the other guest can walk over and see into either one of their rooms. Which makes is not so secure, not in a not safely way, as the locks are very stable out to the balcony. Which only means you could only use the balcony as long as the other guest is not using it, and probably have to close the curtain if someone is outside. Maybe even just some simple planters can fix the trick =) The good side, our family was getting A+ and 5 star services from Son and Lien through out our stay at Thai Binh 2. They were so helpful and welcoming, treat us like we are at home. And we did feel like we are at home. Breakfast was really good also, you order and they cook it, fresh and fulfilling.

Lovely hotel and great service”
We had some really good days at Thai Binh 2 Hotel. The room was great (besides a little water damage on the wall and a terrace door that didnt closed all around, it was a really high quality room for the price - especially the bathroom was great). Tip: ask for a room placed as high as possible - better view The breakfast was pretty good for the price range of the hotel, and the cleaning was spotless - and very attentioned. We was ín the room for 12 a clock and had a "no disturbe" sign on the door. Went for lunch and returned an hour later and the room was cleaned - allthough they had cleaned our floor earlier and we didnt say anything - great. The best about the hotel is however the staff (especially in the reception). Very helpful with everything you ask about and good english skills. Gladly book taxis, tours or whatever you want at reasonable prices, and they even helped us calling the hotel in hanoi to arrange hotel pick-up at the airport (late flight) when we left

A nice spacious room ”
We spent 2 night here but unfortunately they were dampened by rain and we were all sick before arriving. In the end we didn't enjoy Hue (no fault of Thai Binh 2), but it was a few days to recoup. Given our circumstances and the weather we don't have great memories, but the hotel was fine and all we needed. As usual the staff were helpful knowing we were sick and did their best to accommodate our needs. Thanks to them!

Great place to stay with family!”
Good value. Clean hotel! Because I stayed in very disgusting hotel in Hoi An, I was so worried that If I could another disaster staying in Hue. But, fortunately it was great! The staffs were very kind and helpful. There was a guy in front desk, and he actually asked me to come down to provide more information about good local restaurants, night market, sightseeing places. Hue city was very great city and this hotel made it better!

Smart hotel but the rooms are a little cramped”
The Thai Binh 2 was a decent hotel, and the rooms were kitted out to a reasonably high standard - although they were cramped due to the amount they squeezed into it (desk, coffee table and chairs, TV cabinet, etc etc). The bathroom was very good, and had a decent power-shower which was a pleasant surprise. Also good to have a shower curtain for a change... Despite its rather grotty abandoned appearance, the restaurant on the top floor produced pretty decent food and at a reasonable price. There's also a pool table upstairs. Staff were friendly, and helpful although there was a lot of smoking going on in the lobby which didn't make for a pleasant entrance.

Nice stay”
I had 2 nights at Thai Binh 2 and it was really nice, staffs are friendly and helpful, very good location, just take 3 mins to Trang Tien bridge and Huong River, near Night Market. The surrounding is quiet and relaxing with a great view at the top floor to Hue city and the river. Breakfast is quite boring. Worthy for a cheap trip.

Good hotel, close to everything”
the thaii binh 2 is located on a quiet street, but close to al the action in hue. the rooms are pretty big, and most of them have a nice view on the river. the breakfast buffet is on the top floor and the nice scenery around you makes you sit there for an extra cup of coffee. we booked a tour to the tombs and our bustickets to our next destination at the receptiondesk. al worked out flawless at a reasonable price.

I would recommend Thai Bin 2 to anyone staying in Hue. The rooms are amazing for the cheap price you pay. The staff are very helpfull and knowledgeable. Close to everything without being right in the middle of everything, so its very quite.

Great Value and Location!”
We stayed four nights and could not have been more pleased. If you want to be around every other Westerner in Hue that area is only a 10 minute walk, but we really preferred staying in a quiet more Vietamese part of Hue. There are great restaurants, street food and coffee shops in the area patronized mostly by locals which for us is always a good sign. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Perfume River from the balcony. The only improvements we might suggest are a little softer mattress and cushions on the wooden chairs.

I'll definitely stay here again”
Arrived dirty, tired and quite late in the evening after a slow and 'unplanned' adventure filled ride from Lao Bao. And it was a good decision to stay here, the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms clean and comfortable with all the amenities (air con, hot showers etc) working perfectly... which can sometimes be a rarity for hotels in this price range in Vietnam. Despite the late arrival, the hotel is close enough to the bars and cafes so it was no big deal to have a shower and take a short walk to find a bite to eat and an ice cold beer, before passing out for a very comfortable and well deserved sleep. The location is also great for visiting the sites across the river and the staff very helpful in organising tours, drivers, on going travel etc. When I return, I'll definitely stay here again.

Awesome view for Tet fireworks!”
Staff were very friendly & helpful. Great location, easy to walk to most places & catch a boat along the Perfume River. breakfast on the 9th floor had great views of Hue. We stayed on the third floor & were easily able to watch Tet fireworks with the kids from our window. the only minor issue was that Wifi wasn't the best - go to the 9th floor during the day,

Thank you to all at Thai Binh 2. The staff booked multiple buses for me, all o them the cheapest around. They even let me store my bags free after I checked out. Great location and a sweet view from the upper rooms.

Excellent hotel but not faultless”
When we checked into our top floor city view room we were thrilled with panoramic views of Hue and surrounding mountains with no other buildings blocking the views (for now). The room was very clean, relatively large, with TV and internet. Oh, and the bathrooms were the largest and best we experienced in Vietnam. Unfortunately our two-night stay was marred by one day when the water stopped working. This was highly inconvenient given how hot it was in Hue but probably not the hotel's fault. What made us upset was that the staff had no communication with us; they did not tell us if the problem was with only our room, the entire hotel or city block. They just acted as if the problem didn't exist. Very frustrating given we had no idea how long this would last.

We have stayed in the Thai Binh now 3 times which in its self speaks volumes, we know the location is great as no noisy traffic passes, staff are fabulous and the facilities are clean.
