We were travelling as a group where two of us would take the train and one were driving a motorbike so we needed an overnight stay in between Phong Nha and Ninh Bình. This place is walking distance to the train station (800-900 meters), rooms were immaculate with A/C and cable tv and staff were nice. It’s super good value! Oh and there’s an elevator! Be aware if you arrive at night everything is closed nearby so it can be a challenge to find food. Eat before you arrive :)

Staff very kind, cheap moto rental (except it’s due 12pm the next day, or at checkout) and verrryy clean room that smelled like bleach which is good I guess. Great location, 10min walk from train station :-)

Really nice owners! They gave us sweets in the middle of the night when we came back home and washed our laundry for free! Clean rooms, elevator in the hotel, located in the middle of the city. Everything perfect. :)

very clean guesthouse. toiletries like soap, small bottle of shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. if you come during cold season, don't worry as the air-conditioner has heat mode. tv is new and clear with movies and sports channels. although its very near to the train station (less than 1km), but it's considered far from the town.

The hardest bed EVER!”
We have been traveling around SE Asia for nearly 6 months now and have had our fare share of very firm and uncomfortable beds...but this bed brought firm to a whole new level.. pretty sure the floor would have felt the same as the bed.. The hotel itself is pretty standard. A/c worked well, room was very basic, a little small, white walls, no decos. Weird brown things stuck to the walls? Couldn't figure out what they were...not bugs though, looked like tiny used tea bags? No idea. Hotel staff were friendly enough and although none spoke much English we were able to communicate ok. Curtains do nothing to block out bright sun in the morning which bounces off the white walls... can rent scooters through hotel which worked well. Hotel was quiet, and 5 or 10 min walk to places to eat, coffee shop and the mall.

It's near the railway station so will be a suitable option for those who want to catch the train in the next day. However, it's pretty far from the centre. U have to take taxi to get to the centre or rent a motorbike. The double room is pretty small, especially for 2 people. No slippers. The corridor looks rather dark and not really clean. There are mosquitoes as well.

for the $ its ok for a night but bed is super hard....i think the floor is softer. Bathroom smells, room not the cleanest, i think they rent rooms to locals or hourly even, lots of noise from other guests, room cold, better than sleeping outside but not by much !

The location is too far from anything. Didnt enjoy my stay. Staff didnt speak english, whih is normally ok, but we never were shown where the gym in the pictures were. Young girl used google translate to help. Loud rooster in the morning from neighbours. Not very clean. Bed was rock solid.

The hotel is a bit further from the city center, but for the price it is so worth it. Our room was huge! There was no hot water, and our bed was very, very firm. Too hard for my liking. The staff was great. They didn’t speak great English, but were very nice and generous. They let us check in at 6 AM, and when we were leaving for the train station they gave us a ride in their car. They were very kind to us. I’d recommend this place!
