The best staff ever”

The best hotel for a overnight near border if you wish to go to Cambodia. We aririved late in the evening for an overnight before we go to Cambodia. We wanted to go by boat (Mekong river), but we had no idea how (we knew boats leave Chau Doc early in the morning but we had no tickets, so we planned to get up early and start walking from one to other company). In the morning we came to check out, but the owner sit us down, gave us coffe, breakfast, and while we were eating she organised everything, including transportation from hotel to pier. We recommend it!

Nice room and helpful staff ”

the staff was super friendly and provided us with a little map of the area and information where we could find good street food. There is not so much to see in Chau Doc but if you stay for a night I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice hostel”

Location is nice, just 200m from Chau Doc market, there is alot of loco rétaurant, cafe and shopping place. Staff is very helpful, they arrange to go to mountain by motor bike taxi and pick up Phuong Trang bus.

Needs some updates but great value”

The rooms need an urgent update and the WiFi signal on the third floor was so bad that I could hardly use it. Apart from that, the price is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. I extended my stay and booked a fantastic 2-day tour with home-stay, that the staff customized for me. One of them even showed me around her village as part of the tour. A nice experience!

Good for the price”

The staff are nice and helpful. Room are OK and quite clean. The location is good, close to the river and the market. Chau Doc is really a border town for transit so there is not really a lot to see.

Good Hotel”

Had my own personal room with bathroom for 10$. Location is great, I could walk there from the ferry and it was close to the city centre. Staff were very helpful and nice

Very good for the price”

What can you expect at this price? Clean room, good A/C, helpfull staff, hot water, frig, and right in the centre....and breakfast! Wow! Recommend!

small but nice”

the smallest room we ever had but sufficient for a few nights. run by an energic woman who organizes everything you need. Becaus it is a border city , not much to see. But do not miss a boat tour to the floating houses on the river.

You get what you pay for”

We made this an overnight stay before heading onto Cambodia by night. Our friend also booked a room which it looked as if they double booked so they asked for us to take them on into our room. After we refused they took half an hour to fix the problem but it was resolved. The staff are a little on the rude side and don't seem to have any patience for their customers. Purely make this a one night stay if you have to.

Don't go there”

We booked the hotel because everything good was already full. The beds had stains everywhere. We slept in our mummy liners because the bed felt so dirty. The night guard was unfriendly and could not speak English at all. Lock the room when you are in! The night guard wandered in without knocking to check something on the airconditioning while I was getting ready for a shower! The ladies at the front desk were nice though.

Nice hotel for one night stay onto Cambodia”

The markets were incredible with the wierdest fish concoctions....lovely people egar to have a laugh with you. They love being on video.

Looks like a bus station, but the staff are helpfu”

Wi-Fi only worked in the stair-well, be prepared for breakfast served only 0600-0700 and it will be a bread bun with a pad of cheese or a small plate of fruit, and hot or cold tea/coffee. Cold H2O comes with the room
