Great Place”
The Alpa hotel was a great stay. I had only planned on staying for a few days but because of the oncoming typhoon (Ruby) I extended my stay so I wouldn't be caught traveling during the storm. The room was very clean and spacious. The AC worked great and there was plenty of hot water. The staff was very accommodating and always willing to help. The on-site restaurant provided great meals at affordable prices. The location was just one jeep ride away from the mall where there was plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall I liked the place. One minor complaint was the ongoing construction. However the noise was kept to a minimum during the evening hours. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Alpa hotel to everyone.

Value for Money and spacious”
We booked 3 rooms for my niece’s debut and the room was huge with a big dresser for her photo op. The lady at the reception was very accommodating and nice as well as the staff who showed us in. Thank you Alpa Hotel for making my niece’s birthday extra special.

Quick Stay in Batangas”
arrived manila at 7pm and did not want to stay the night there because was continuing onto puerto galera in mindoro the next day. i wanted to travel directly to batangas, connecting port to mindoro, that night to avoid daytime traffic. i arrived at about 10pm. checked in, took cold shower, fine with me, if you don't wish cold water make sure you book hot water room. aircon cooled the room down quickly. slept well, awoke to roosters crowing, a common occurence in the philippines. if the roosters and or trike/moped noise bothers you, ask for room in middle of hotel, mine was on the end. breakfast was a wonderful pancake, what can i say, i am american and love my pancake breakfast. informed front desk that i would be departing in 1.5 hours for the pier and also wanted to stop at sm mall to pick up something. i suggested perhaps they had a friend who might like to pick up a fare. they did even better, off duty bell boy picked up my bags, including scuba gear, loaded on the trike while i was eating breakfast, drove me to sm mall, stayed with the trike and my bags (thousands of dollars worth of proptery), then drove me to the pier and made sure i was handed off to people that could facilitate my voyage to mindoro. if i ever scuba dive again in mindoro (highly likely), i will stay here the night i arrive manila and then travel the next am to mindoro.

Hotel was ok for a short stay. Recommend they ditch the 60s 14 inch portable TV for WiFi in all the rooms. Would stay their again because there isn't much to choose from in Batangas city, they need some competition to lift their game.

Great Stay Great Price”
Fantastic. It was just a stop over but I had a great stay. It was right along a traffic route to several places I wanted to go. Close to shopping and eating. Not a lot to do in Batangas unless you are a backpacker or just want to know more about local Philippines or are on your way to the beach. This is a great place for all those types of travelers.

Perfect hotel for frugal people”
My stay was amazing. Though during the day, i was disturbed by the ongoing noise of renovation, it still worth my money because the room is spacious and clean, perfect for frugal people. They have an air con, a bit noisy but u can settle for it. A small t.v. But has a lot of channel u can choose from. A clean cr. they have attentive staffs they can even lend you cp charger at the front desk. The hotel is a bit gloomy at first because of poor lighting but u can use to it as the day pass. The food is bit costly but tasty. Wifi is only available at the reception area and azotea but inside the room, theres none. Towels are all clean, cabinets are all clean yet old. I recommend this for solo traveler who want to save money

Old hotel with some ongoing renovations. Aircon was noisy. There’s only 1 small coffee table in their Triple Room (they could have at least put a bigger one considering it’s for 3 pax). There was a meeting/gathering in the restaurant so we had to sit and eat outside, and it was so hot there (they don’t bring the free breakfast in the rooms). Ample parking space.

We stayed here as we really had no choice. There aren't too many hotels in Batangas and most have poor ratings. This place looked like something out of a 70's kung fu movie. The room furniture looked like stuff my mother tossed out or gave to Goodwill - in 1978, It's a place that a normal person would give a pass. We stayed here as we had no real choice- our ferry boat came in 5 hours late and no boats to Puerto Galera. We had a deluxe room but it was 1 star. Old and musty and noisy.

i was somewhat disappointed with the hotel. but it was good value for the money. although i think i had better hotels for the same amount or less. anyway: room was ok and clean, but it looked worn and plain. a bit depressing! there was no hot shower, which is not advertized anywhere, i wonder why... noisy air co. the restaurant looked just uninspiring, so i had to pass, and preferred to take a jeepney to the city mall. next stay, i'd probably chance another hotel...

Batangas bypass”
Reasonable hotel for the price, a little hard to find but easy access once there. Basic rooms with plenty of space, a pool which I did not try out and a restaurant that is not actually part of the hotel, so you have to pay separately and they did not accept credit card. The A/C was very noisy but overall a good budget hotel

A place to stay before the ferry ride”
We booked just for a stay of the night before the ferry ride to Sabang. Room was okay, small TV but plenty to watch. The pool is very clean and restaurant is large and nice. Originaly booked the standard but that has no TV or hot water, so upgraded for 400php to get the needed hot shower.

We arrived at the Hotel about two hours early ,and was told we have to pay extra if we want to occupy our room right away,since check in was 12 Noon. I think that is a very bad policy,hotel management needs to revise this.Just to squeeze a few extra bucks from guest is not too wise a policy. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Old hotel, small, very basic room”
Stayed 1 night on the way to Puerto Galera. Will leave earlier next time so we can catch the boat instead of needing to stay in a hotel. Did not see much of Batangas, maybe next time, if we stayed at a different hotel.

Hotel bathroom need better fixing..its very cheap”
I stayed only for 1 night with my wife so my judgment is limited to what I saw only. The hotel is very close to the main access road. I like the hotel staffs from Guard to the receptionist and the roomboy...they are very accommodating and helpful. Foods are ok and cheap but nice test.

Needs to renovate rooms a bit”
We enjoyed staying at alpha apart from we can hear the noise from the road at night. Rooms needs to renovation a bit and tv needs to be change with bigger one. Blanket also needs to be change. Over all it's was ok... Lovely food... I'll defo stay again. Oh and hopefully they will put more flowers by the pool as it doesn't look inviting as it is

Dirty and disappointed Nothing best at all.”
The hotel it's a bit far from the port, near by the port there are a plenty of hotel cheaper and clean than this one because I stayed a night more in batangas. The hotel is in renovation , so noicy and dirty. From outside is really beautiful but when you start to take the stair, you can see the reality of the hotel, no clean and smelly. The morning of my check out, I was complaining about the bathroom and the staff just answer to me that it's just a little dust !!!
