In the heart of the old market town of Midhurst, The Angel B&B blends original character with fresh, contemporary design and modern facilities, such as free WiFi and parking. Originally a 17th-century Coaching Inn, The Angel retains a wealth of original features, which have been lovingly restored and enhanced during the recent refurbishment. Each of the en-suite rooms has been individually designed and furnished with carefully chosen antique furniture and quality fabrics. All of the rooms have TVs and telephones, and some have four-poster beds and original wooden beams.

Perfect!”

The owners and staff are lovely and they really can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. It’s clean, tidy, well presented and comfortable, from the rooms to the bar areas. It’s a fantastic location and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when we visit midhurst.

Great Service!”

Location right in the centre of this pretty Town. Walking distance to the Cowdray castle ruins and local town pubs. Great base to go cycling around the many bridle paths in and around the South Downs. Close to all the Goodwood action. Great food including wonderful pies and oriental dishes.

Good location, parking was easy, staff were helpful. We really enjoyed the free continental breakfast - more than enough to eat and it was delicious.
Not a lot, only thing we can think of is that there were lots of steps with our suitcases - we managed fine but might have been tricky for some.

Lovely stay”

Lovely hotel in a lovely town right in the middle of the South Downs national park. We really enjoyed a 4.5hr walk with beautiful scenery and then dinner drinks in town. Staff were very friendly. Would stay again.
