Surprise Find”
I booked this one as my usual hotel was booked out. I am glad that I had the chance to stay at this surprisingly nice hotel tucked away around the corner from two other famous hotels. The facilities are clean and modern. My room was very large and the best thing was the coffee machine! Recommeneded if this location suits your needs.

Only issue was with the AC. It was a little warm in the room at first the front desk said it wouldn't go any lower. My wife and I were sweating in bed on top of the sheets. So I went down and talked to the front desk, they then lowered the air again. While there is a thermostat in the room it doesn't actually control the temperature. You need to talk to the front desk. They were professional, and hospitable, just a bit stingy with the cool air. Everything else was great.

Very friendly and co-operative staff and very good service. The AC in the 10th floor room was totally ineffective even at temperature setting at 20 Deg C, but the staff relocated me to a lower floor with excellent aircon. The location is a bit of a let down being in a side lane and away from the main roads activity, but the staff make up for any hotel short comings. Will readily visit again

Nice Stay and Very friendly staff”
The Hotel is away from the main areas of Hoan Kiem district and somewhat quiet, but that is more than compensated by the excellent staff. Air Conditioning is a big problem as I was sweating in Room 1006, despite the attempts by the staff to keep temperature at 20 Deg C. Once room was changed to 505, for 3 nights, the aircon was excellent at 23-24 Deg C. Finally again for 2 nights in room 603, I ended up sweating, but was tired to pack all the bags and shift to another room, so I didn't complain. Hotel staff very friendly and provided me a club sandwich at midnight too. Overall very good stay

Decent Hotel ”
Hotel offers decent accommodation. While the hotel is located near several eateries, the street lights are relatively dim. Room is rather spacious except it is reeked with musky odour from the air-conditioning. I suspect the air-condition is not cleaned regularly. Due to high humidity in Hanoi, moisture could gathered in the air-conditioning system resulting in the foul smell. Breakfast spread is decent for Vietnam standard. I have tasted better breakfast in other Vietnamese hotels.

I really enjoyed my two nights stay at The Ann Hanoi. Though a bit far from the old quarter(within walkable distance), I felt better accommodated since the neighborhood was rather quiet, aside from old quarter being toooooo much noisy and crowdy. What I really want to mention is excellent staff of the hotel. From the front desk managers to bell boys, all of them were so friendly and willing to help. Thank you so so much for enormous help and nice smiles :) The room is clean and spacious, other facilities such as swimming pool and gym are average. Sound proof system could be improved. I will definitely stay in this hotel if I visit Hanoi again.

Best value for money in Hanoi”
I stay regular in Hanoi for work, this time I brought my family over, wife and 3 kids to have a bit of leisure time. The way the staff treated us from the beginning was excellent. Great food (breakfast and room service), nice spacious room, apartment around 100m2 with full cooking and cleaning facilities. Great location, walking distance from city center in a nice and quiet area. There is a swimming pool on the top of the hotel and there is a good quality fitness room. This hotel ia hands down best value for money in Hanoi. Most of times there are small things that does not work, internet slow or bed is too hard, room is smelling bad, service could be better or the staff does not speak any English. In The Ann everything works great. Thanks for having us and hope to see you soon.

Good comfortable Stay”
We stayed one night at The Ann Hotel. The staff were friendly, warm and hospitable when we arrive at the hotel at around 8pm. The hotel is located slightly off the busy districts so it's quieter at night. The receptionists speak good English and were quick to give us quick tips about travelling at Hanoi like the trust worthy taxi companies, places to go etc.. Overall a good experience!

Lovely ladies at reception!”
My favourite part of the stay are the ladies at reception, especially Nga! The ladies were very helpful and very accommodating. Nga's recommendations were really great. Ask her for lunch and dessert places! We love this place so much that we booked it again for our second stop in Hanoi. We came in very early in the morning, and were told by a male staff member the earliest check in was 11am. We were very tired from the overnight train and needed a bed. The ladies started their shift and got the room ready well before 11 and that's why we love this place and staff. The rooms are very nice, clean and luxurious. The rooms have very good air conditioning. It's also 8min drive from the busy and noisy old quarter which was great. The room was quiet and we couldn't hear any traffic. Loved our stay and two thumbs up to Nga.

Perfect place in Hanoi”
We love The Ann Hotel. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dining at 1 am was no problem. The breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam. Biggest advantage of this hotel is the bicycle service, it is so convenient. Can only recommend a stay.
