My last stay”

I stayed in The Arcadia resort at Umroi twice this month. My last stay was from 16-17 August 2023 with my family. The location is good, staffs are fine. But swimming pool needs daily cleaning as lot of dead insects are floating in the swimming pool. While we enjoy staying in that location, but staff perhaps need more motivations and need to be proactive is asking guest what to eat or drink. They are little shy. not bad service, but with little proactive approach, it will be even better.

Far and secluded”

The place by itself is beautiful. But its far from any and all sightseeing. It takes 2-4hrs to get to any of the sights in cherrapunji or jaintia hills or anywhere. The staff were very friendly but if you are travelling with small children, beware, they take a very long time to prepare food. They also dont have flasks for tea or coffee, which means it can get cold if you dont drink it immediately.
