Exceptional”
It’s been 5 years since I last stayed here but the facilities are still well-maintained, room’s very clean, and staff were good. Just got asked several times by the guards at the parking if i’m a staying guest, everytime i come in and out of it, although i’ve met and passed through them many times already for three days. Although i already showed the parking ticket and room card to the same guard for two consecutive days everytime i go out, he still had to radio the front desk the last time i passed by, to confirm if i’m really a guest, as if he’s always skeptical. Maybe it’s for security reasons but they could have at least a bit of familiarity with the guests and their cars. The staff at the Lobby Cafe are all great and very accommodating. Their customer service is top notch, and would really make you feel welcome. If ever there’s a mistake on anything, they would make up for it right away, no questions asked. Food was good too. Gotta give it to them, probably the favorite part of my stay because of their generosity and sincerity.

Everything about the property exceeded my expectations except for 1. Let me preface by saying how wonderful the front desk/concierge, bell boys, housekeeping, and the door guards that were ever so dutiful with assisting with coordinating our Grab cars to helping us at all hours of the day and night. During my stay the only issue I had was what I would describe as inconvenient encounter with local entertainment industry. Being Fil-Am I’m vaguely aware of such things from observing my parents watching filipino channels. Even in LA it’s rare to be star struck by film crew and actors. So with that said I was surprised when a whole set up took over the small lobby including the pathway from the elevators. The moment I stepped off the elevator there was a photo shoot and a massive crew of people. Even as I was waiting to order a drink from the small cafe all 3 staff members behind counter were preoccupied helping 1 guest that apparently was local celebrity. When they were finished attending to the sole guest I asked what all the commotion was about. The staff replied, “Oh mam ABS-CBN is on-site for a shoot.” I was initially confused by the response but quickly figured that I shouldn’t have the same expectations as this was Manila and not LA. For future reference, I would recommend to the hotel staff to either rope off the sections to be used during the duration of these set crews as well as an official notice to guest of what to expect. I could imagine what non Filipino foreign guest would assume in these circumstances. Again everything else was a great experience and I would recommend the hotel to family and friends.

Now this is what I call a simple yet extraordinary experience at #BHotelQC 😁 The hotel was walking distance away from all the destinations I want & need to go 🙂 The room was OK by square meter size, but very efficient in space & so comfortable! Price was value for money and even the restaurant & cafe weren't expensive! My favorite coffee place in the Metro! Wish there were vegan options”
My stay at the B hotel was very pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. A kid in the room next door was making noise and eventhough I could hear it, it wasn't too loud that it disrupted my rest. I especially love and commend the hotel for avoiding bottled water as service to guests and instead providing a water dispenser in the hallways. Same with the toiletries in the bathroom - they have a dispenser for shampoo and body wash instead of giving out those travel sized bottles. What a way to help curb the single use plastic problem! If there is one thing I wish the hotel would consider, is providing more vegan friendly food in the breakfast buffet. At the very least, some plant based milks like soymilk, almond, oat. I had to bring my own soymilk. The staff were kind enough to point out though that the champorado was premixed with (dairy) milk but that they could get me some from the kitchen that didn't have any. I also had to request the egg/omelette station if they could sautee some veggies for me just so I can have something to eat with rice. Because hotels have diverse guests, with different dietary restrictions/preferences, I wish they could consider these in the menu and that they be clearly labeled in the future.

Perfect Valentines Staycation ”
We stayed during the Valentines weekend. It was the perfect staycation. There was a valentines dinner with acoustic singer, breakfast buffet was superb and pool is very clean. Staff were helpful and accommodating. They were also kind enough to let us check out late because our baby is still sleeping. Overall, perfect place to relax and unwind.

Pros: very nice big room, big bed, nice cr, aircon working great, nice view (ours was a pool view so we can see if its raining hehe) could be a 4-5 star hotel feel. Pool temp just fine, not too big but just right for that nice swim. Lots of parking and it is in the building which is A-ok. Near fastfood chains like mcdo and jollibee which again is very good. Very courteous staff i mean like everyone in the hotel, we always felt well treated customers from the guards to hotel attendants. Nice tv and ref as well. Cons: some congestion in the pool area, a bit small and can be crowded at times.

It was a last minute booking. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Staff are all helpful. Best breakfast. I even had a chance of chatting with the chef. The hotel was only 4 stars but the service and the cleanliness of the hotel is more than 5 stars.

Unable to grant my request”
Upon booking, I requested to have a large bed rather than twin-beds. But when we arrived the designated room have twin beds. I confirmed it with the hotel and they said the room we booked is a twin bed eventhought I saw them the screenshot of my booking. I don’t know who is at fault but the personnel I spoke with addressed my concern and explained that we don’t have a choice and we can’t change it (they are fully booked that time). For other travelers, I think you should confirm the details and your request before the date of booking to avoid hassle. Thank you

Things about the B Hotel Quezon City I love (and that keep taking me back) include: - Its set in a working-class neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and other hotels nearby (McDonalds, Burger King, 7-11s and more are w/in 2-3 blk walk) - The staff seem to love their jobs, they give warm & genuine smiles, and will do anything to make your moment better - Wonderful breakfast buffet with omelettes made to order and the best fruit juices - They have a bakery onsite, offering a mouth-watering assortment of fresh-baked goods that had me returning daily. Check out the ensaymada in their lobby bakery, soft & gooey goodness that'll knock you out! - The views of the area are awesome. I was on the 11th floor and loved gazing into the distance. - The staff - from the security guys on the street (Thanks Bencabing!) to my room attendant (Thanks Anthony!) to the person that checks you in and out - they all try to make you feel warmly welcome, and like this is "home." -

We had a great stay in the hotel with delicious food and nice staff. We had our wedding preparation here and they assisted us accordingly. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and is accessible to nearby places and is a less plastic environment because they are using refillable shampoo and body wash. Beautiful place with nice staff. Friendly service. Breakfast is great however on our second morning, would be great if back of house staff were more attentive to guests that may not be in big groups as priorities of food service were given more to them. Kudos to the front of house staff for always checking on the table.

Industrial feels”
I liked the industrial design of the room and the bed was so comfy. I didnt want to leave the room. The pool was nice too; not fancy but clean. The cons that I have was the soundproofing and lighting. I hear other rooms slamming their door which startled me while sleeping. There was not a sole light for the bathroom and turning on the switch turns on both bath and sink (outside the bathroom) which lights up the whole room. I just needed a really dim light to let me know where i pee when half awake and not bump myself on the glass wall.

Hidden gem in Timog”
Surprised to find this really good hotel in Timog! The design is deconstructed minimalist but very cozy. Love the bed. Love the breakfast. They have a pool too but could have been cleaned more regularly (bumped my hand several times because I couldn’t see the end of the pool). Best of all, I love that this hotel partnered with WWF and reduce their plastic consumption. Brilliant idea to put conditioner and body wash dispensers and water dispensers to replace body wash tubes and water bottles. Good job!

Strategically located within nice restaurants. Excellent service. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Did not like that the gym opens late and closes early. Parking has no valet service too.
