My family was very satisfied. :) We had complete lighting and air conditioning even during brownouts. The island tours arranged for us were great! The reception staff, food and beverage staff, housekeeping personnel, tour guide, boat men were all kind and friendly. Next time we go back to Caramoan, we'll take Central Discovery Hotel again!

Great place, nice stay and near everything!”
I could not ask for more, we had such a nice stay. Great short vacation trip to Caramoan! This hotel is perfect, I don’t know to you but for me it was! I don’t really have high standards as long as I can sleep perfectly then I’m good. PROS : 1. Walking Distance—Near the “town” you don’t have to ride a tricycle to get to the market if you wanna explore and be with the locals then go! 2. Accomodating staffs, the “owner” even waited for us to arrive at 1 in the morning because of our delayed flight and bus transpo. Great service! 3. Safe room and very Spacious! CONS: 1. Not a beach front, but was just 15-20 minutes tricycle ride to “La Playa—for the boat ride—Island Hopping”. 2. The AC was not that cold but they provided us with FREE electricfan which compensated this CON. Well thats all for me, see and experience it for yourself!

Overall it was a good stay. Affordable. Good Service. Friendly staffs/owner. It just so happen during our stay that they are having some renovation so its a bit noisy. The food is good but some of menu's listed is not available so we have limited choices for food that time. However, if time and budget permits I will come back and stay on the same hotel on my next vacation in Caramoan, Camarines Sur.

Clean and fine, they do own their own power generator”
We arrived just after typhoon hit the region so we were very unlucky! The weather was horrible, no sunshine, constantly raining and power outages. Luckily hotel is equipped with their own generator, we were stuck there for 3 days hoping weather would get better but it didn't. Somehow room had mosquitoes that didn't help with the sleep, not sure how they got in as really didn't look like there were ways of them getting into the room. I had no decent sleep for one night due to those bloody mosquitoes and spent all night chasing and killing them. Not sure if it is anything that hotel could do about those mosquitoes. Otherwise it is OK place, shame that the weather was really horrible, we couldn't do anything interesting for the whole stay, luckily TV had USB port and we were able to watch movies from my USB stick. Would stay in this property again if the weather was OK, no issues with it just bloody mosquitoes

We had a good stay in this hotel. We were there in low rainy season. So there was not so much going on in Caramoan. But the staff of the hotel did their best to make our stay as nice as possible.

Good at problem resolution”
My friend and I were booked at Central Discovery for one night and found it a good value for money so we extended another 4 nights instead of transferring to a hotel closer to the beach. The manager realized that he forgot to close the hotel on agoda since he was already full so he basically was overbooked. His problem resolution though was very good--comparable to 5 star service in Manila. I was impressed when he spoke to us and asked if it would be okay that we transferred to Gota Village resort which is one of the best resorts on the island with its own beach. He arranged for transfers and said he will take care of the difference in the rate. We stayed there for 3 nights then were picked up on the last night to go back to Central Discovery. The room was clean and comfortable.It was raining when we went and there was a power outage but they had a generator so we were still comfortable. Overall, we were happy with their service.

Carmoan a big disappointment”
From Pili it takes 2 hrs to get to Sabang then another 2 hrs to Caramoan. Then you have to take a 20 minute ride to the hotel. From there you have to take another 20 minute ride to another port for island hopping. To get to the islands, you need another 2 hrs and the beach is such a disappointment. Shallow, warm and murky with sea snakes. We must be in the wrong place because this is not the Carmoan that everyone brags about. As for the hotel, it is in town which is a 20 min ride from the Caramoan pier. The room took time to get cold and comfortable but staff is very accommodating and understanding to give us an extra fan as well as pack our lunches even if I did not book the island hopping with them. The staff of the hotel was the best thing in our Caramoan experience. Unfortunately I would never come back again. Calaguas and Subic in Sorsogon were much better experience for us.

It was a very good stay..Very accomodating staff, they gave us a very warm treatment. All in all the people in Caramoan seems very nice and kind. Probably because they are very far from the city, life was so simple the town showed a very simple lifestyle.

Memorable caramoan stay”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. Despite the water issue brought about by the brownout on our first day, the hotel tried their best to make up for the inconvenience. They even allowed us to use their personal bathrooms for our use. The tour package they offered us was very good. Food served was well planned and delicious. Ate nora, kuya ismael the tour guide are commendable for the service they provided us. The owner was easy to talk to and made sure our stay would be comfortable. Our whole group of eleven can attest to the good service and hospitality they provided us.

Very Understanding Management”
My first night was waved by the owner, as my flight supposedly to Naga was cancelled and moved to Legaspi City. I immediately called the owner and he undoubtedly approved my request to reimburse my first night (which I stayed in another hotel, but in Naga City. The owner also has a boat, and his staff are very friendly. I will definitely come back in this hotel, next time, but, by that time, it will be with my family and friends.

We enjoy it very much. Specialy the island hopping and the atmospher in the hotel at the evening: diner with nice music. The long island hopping was much better than the short trip. Thehotel's arrangments for the trips wasn't perfect on the first trip due to over booked guest.

Would not recommend it”
Currently staying in this hotel. As per agoda the room details says that the loft we are staying has a kitchenette and refrigerator, I want to be sure of this because I see none. I double checked the room details and they took out kitchenette. The loft we booked is for 10 pax and you expect us to use 2 soap and shampoo only?! That’s what we found as we arrived and oh btw it is also indicates that there’s towels in the room, but again none, and still need to ask the staff for towels and guess what they are charging for the towels for P100??? What????? Upon arrival, we don’t see anyone to assist us we still have to look for a staff to check us in. We have reached the hotel totally hungry and as we order food from the menu they only have two items available. So we decided to ask if we could buy fresh fish and meat for them to cook they said yes but they will charge us P100 per kilo. Since the hotel seems to have limited staff I asked them if I could cook, good thing they allowed me but still with charges. I asked Rosanna on the first day if she could arrange island hopping tour for us on the next day, she’s accommodating and she said they could. In the day of island hopping 7am we are all prepared as I looked for Rossana she haven’t coordinate the boat and the tour guide yet. Good thing we don’t have to wait for long to arrange the tour. Correct me if I’m wrong agoda, the hotel indicated room service but we were told by the staff they can’t serve food in our room. Oh by the way I was told by the staff twice that I’m not allowed to cook in their kitchen any longer for they’re going to have plenty of guests at night. Our stay and experience at Central Discovery was not that really good. And to end up my review, the size of the aircon At the loft was not enough to cool the whole loft we still need to open two fans at night. Should we comeback and recommend the hotel? TOTALLY NO

Very clean, comfortable but far from the sea”
First it was a disappointment. When we arrived the owner wanted to sell the tours immediately without being polite, providing the rooms or the basic information. Tours and transportation are overprized. The offer we got for the transportation from Legazpi to the hotel was ridiculous (10 times higher than we managed on our own). Despite the great room and very helpful host (Nora) the location was also disappointing. 150 pesos to reach the seaside (20 minutes tricycle) (and of course 150 back), there is no restaurant and bar nearby. There is nothing to do in the town but visiting a nice church. Based on the hotel's description about the town it is not what we expected. In the beginning the meal was great (quantity and quality) but it became a little bit worse with every meal.

Exceptional food value”
We stayed for two nights and we are satisfied. Affordable food with splendid taste and quantity. The only downside was they allow videoke during night time until 11pm, the first floor has an open area bar in which locals/tourist can drink and sing. You can be disturbed by the noise especially when you are going to bed early because you need to rise up early for island hopping activities.
