I’m a frequent traveler and honestly no place is like this one in cleanliness, food and beverage top quality, and the amazing staff , truly a holiday to remember, thanks to all the staff, especially the amazing kitchen staff who served the most delicious plates one could have( chocolates are best on the earth ) .

Photos don't do this property justice. It's gorgeous. My wife and I have had the fortune to stay at some amazing hotel properties and this is as good as any. Service top notch, the Club Suites are amazing and the Club is actually worth the value. Staff goes the extra distance then some. Can't wait to come back...felt like home, only 'better'.

Fabulous hotel - pure luxury and opulence ”
This is a zen like hotel with beautiful grounds, fabulous swimming pools and wonderful food. It’s right on the beach so there is no need to wander far at all if you don’t want to. The gym is great as are complimentary yoga classes etc. Several choices of restaurant - The Beach is truly wonderful but make sure you take your platinum credit card ! All dining options are great actually and of very high quality. Oman will never be a cheap holiday but you get what you pay for right ??? I can’t wait to go back !!

What I loved: 1. Amazing location 2. Very friendly staff 3. Good food 4. Early check-in and late check-out 5. Afternoon tea snacks variety 6. 6 PM free cocktails 7. The best massage ever at their unique spa 8. Fast room service 9. The best desserts in town What I hope to see and for them to improve: 1. The shower water was brownish for 10 mins. Meaning no guests stayed in our room for awhile 2. There was no bluetooth or proper sound system 3. Room is a bit old fashioned, especially the AC control board is very out dated, we found it very complicated 4. Breakfast variety is very limited

Posh Palce”
Probably the most luxurious hotel in Muscat, with great premises and slick design. We were travelling as a family with a little toddler and looking back, probably Chedi is not ideal being not family oriented. Nevertheless it was a very nice stay. Facilities are great, food is excellent and all amenities are with a luxury touch. It seems to be a choice for business travellers. Not a great beach and water tough. TIP: If you are looking for a beach hotel while in Muscat you'd better go to Shangri-La Al Jissad 20 mins Southway. We were there before going to Chedi. Beach and Water there are great. Much better for families too.

Nice relaxed estay in the beautiful city of Muscat”
We stayed a good weekend in the Chedi Muscat. All the hotel has a beautiful zen modern minimalistic design, but keeping comfort upfront. The room was comfortable and nicely designed as well. The best features of the hotel are its great swimming pools, and the quite environment that one can feel all around. The restaurants are good but very pricey. Great spot for a relax break in be beautiful city of Muscat.

An oasis of calm and luxury in Muscat”
The Chedi is a beautiful hotel where one can enjoy and relax, away from the buzz of the city. The property is amazing, simple and pure architecture, nice gardens and incredible facilities. Our room was very pretty with a simple but very tasteful decoration. 3 pools, of which an infinity pool by the beach and one of the longest pool I have ever seen (they claim it is 103m long, one of the longest in the region). The fitness centre is unique, with top of the range equipment. The food is great, the wine selection is incredible. The staff is one of the best I have encountered, always paying attention to the guests and their well-being but in a very subtle manner (best in class awards to Deepak from Darjeeling at the restaurant who made our dinner experience even better and Swami at the bar by the family pool who gave us some good insights on the city). Overall we had a fantastic time at the Chedi, with the feeling of being valued guests, from the check-in with a handwritten welcome note from the manager to the check-out with the willingness to return in the near future. It is of course not cheap but considering the location, the facility and the overall experience, it is worth spending a little more than in another branded hotel and enjoy a unique experience.

The best of Oman”
This is one of my favourite places in Muscat, and I come back time and again. In fact, in the last 3 times I have visited, my friends and I have always splurged on a stay at The Chedi. It's sublime - as if you're entering another luxurious world with dirty martinis on the beach, the longest infinity pool in the Gulf, and stunning Balinese architecture. The food and the SPA are the main signatures of this place... along wtih the entire layout of the grounds --- it is an entire world to visit. it's a must - even if you just drop in for lunch. DO VISIT this place. I cant vouch for it enough! 15 out of 10!

Paradise in a hotel ”
my friend and i had a girlie weekend at the chedi. the room and hotel were clean and immaculate. the hotel is beautifully laid out and with water and symmetry it gives a very relaxing ambience. the food was good - we had dinner at the fish restaurant on the beach (service and food good), breakfast in the main restaurant (a decent buffet) and dinner by the pool (nice attentive staff). i definitely recommend the chedi for somewhere to stay. the only negative i have is that the staff were a bit slow when we were having drinks sitting by the fire pits, but it did not really impact on the holiday as everything else was fantastic.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Worth the money if you want to splurge, relax and be in a resort. You can spend days just at the hotel so if your pressed for time in Muscat and want to see the sights consider other options as it would be a shame not to spend every waking moment at the chedi.
