Kathy was an excellent, helpful, friendly hostess, even providing hot plates for our take-away in the evening. Re the updating, although there were Venetian blinds and curtains, the room was very light all night. The bedroom squeaked really badly near the entrance door and bathroom. The bath needs a handrail in it. We are not in the least infirm but the bottom of the bath is very slippery when one gets out of the shower. The walls are very thin. We could hear what people were saying next door and there was some noise from upstairs. However, we weren’t paying four star prices so it was OK for the money.

We arrived very late and without any problem they arranged that we would find the key somewhere outside. Nice room, good shower, great breakfast and friendly people.
