Great boutique hotel in good location”
my partner and i stayed here for our first night in london and were extremely happy. the location was excellent and felt very safe, there were alot of eateries in the area (we tried the famous roast duck rice which was delicious), close to hyde park and 2 tube stations which were easily accessible. prior to our stay we were concerned when reading reviews about the small bathrooms however we did not find them a problem at all, the room and bathroom were very clean and of good standard. we had stayed in a big chain hotel for the rest of our stay in london and wished we had stayed at cleveland square hotel instead.

Comfortable hotel, centrally located”
From the moment we arrived at the Cleveland, our stay was wonderful; the staff friendly, polite and attentive, the room delightful and the bed very comfortable. The kitchenette was well appointed and the bathroom, although small, perfectly adequate. We chose the Cleveland because of it's location and we were not disappointed; we recommend the hotel to anyone needing a base to sightsee in London and would book there again in the future.

Ideal for short city break.”
If you are looking for a well priced room close to the train network then this hotel is ideal. It is situated about 15 mins walk from Paddington Station and 10 mins from Bayswater and Queensway (different lines on the underground system). There are plenty of hotels in the area but the Cleveland room was well priced and very much value for money. The room was of a good size, better than others we have stayed in, and we had an enormous comfortable bed. It was clean and when we asked for an extra towel this was delivered immediately and without issue. The check in and check out were efficient and there was no problem in leaving our cases for the day after checking out. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfortable stay”
We booked the hotel for an event and were able to drop our bags early morning even though the room wasn’t ready until later so saved us having to take them with us. Friendly staff. Lovely building with ornate double height ceilings. Comfortable bed and quiet location though only 5 mins from Hyde Park and food/bars, and parking. Very clean and well thought out kitchenette with most things you would need for semi self catering if wanted. Not large room/bathroom but big enough and powerful shower and plenty of hot water. VERY slight redecoration required in shower area if I was to be picky about anything..but certainly not a issue for us. It’s not the Ritz, but neither is it Ritz money! Will definitely add to my list of places to stay at again.

Great and comfortable hotel”
Even we had stayed in Cleveland for only one night, we really enjoyed staying there and would like to share with our friends for sure. The design of the room is really comfortable and have a mini kitchen which was more helpful for cooking some simple food for our kid. The location is extremely good and quiet , nice condition of the bed and withe the help of all friendly staffs gave us a memorable stay in Cleveland Hotel.

Just the thing”
The Cleveland Square Hotel is in a great location a short walk from Paddington Station and surrounding amenities, in a lovely part of London that was a mix of hotels and beautiful residential buildings - easy access to the high street but far enough away from it to still be quiet. The room was a generous size, but the bathroom was quite small (but still perfectly functional). The furnishings and fit out of the room were clean and modern and generally of a high standard. The kitchenette was very small but well equipped, with other items (eg saucepans) available on request from reception. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The Nespresso machine in the reception area was an extra treat. The only disadvantage of the hotel was that it was located in two adjoining buildings so we were shown to our room (number 28) using the lift (due to having luggage) then followed a maze of halls, doors and staircases - then the way in and out after that was via quite a few steep staircases, so for the those needing to avoid stairs, request a room on a lower floor or in the part of the building accessible by the lift. I would recommend the Cleveland Square to those looking for a hotel being central to London's attractions, but with a spacious and comfortable room to return to at the end of the day, with the option to eat in if desired. Overall, a great place to stay in London.

Good stay for a weekend shopping trip”
We stayed in Cleveland Hotel for a few nights to do some shopping in London. The hotel is located 5mins walk away from a few tube stations. So it has very good accessibility. Check-in Check-out process was very smooth. Great hotel to act as a base for London city activities.

Solid self catering option”
The first room I was put in was a basement room with some light but next to a generator with constant buzzing noise being irritating. I asked to move as the room had no phone reception and I was here on business so that was pretty poor. The moved me to the 5th floor which the lift didn't reach so an additional 3 flights of stairs was annoying, although the staff were great and moved the bags for me. The room was big by London standards and the kitchenette was handy if not particularly well stocked. In the middle of 3 tube stations so was easy to get around without being to noisy. Nothing much in the immediate area but not far from some restaurants and Hyde park. A solid choice, pretty good value for London.

Newly refurbished hotel in a great location”
we booked this hotel a few days before we arrived for a fabulous price of £44 per room per night. the hotel staff informed us that it had completed its refurbishment only 2 weeks previous (maybe that was why the price was so good). the rooms were clean and fresh, with lovely bathroom facilities. the hotel has tried to keep the original features were possible with the original fireplaces in the bedrooms to add charm and character. the rooms all a kitchenette, tastefully hidden behind wooden doors, similar to those of the wardrobe. the kitchenette comprised of sink with liquid soap, drying towel etc, 2 ring electric hob, toaster, kettle, cups, plates etc.which we found great for a quick snack before bed and early morning breakfast (tesco express opposite tube station for food supplied). you can order a continental breakfast to be delivered to you door, but for a full english breakfast you needed visit a sister hotel across the road.

Nice little base to explore London”
The hotel is in a great location within 5 min walk to Hyde Park and two nearby underground stations. Stayed in a room on the top floor. The room was on a smaller side but had enough space not to feel cramped. A small kitchenette is a nice touch. Wifi in the room I stayed was a bit a hit and miss maybe due to the fact that it was on the top floor. Attentive and friendly staff. With its central location and good value for money ratio, I would consider stayed there again on my next trip.

Nice hotel at a good location”
Stayed at this hotel during the last 3 days of my Easter trip with my girlfriend. Service was still acceptable, rooms were nicely decorated and spacious. Did I mentioned it came with a kitchen, so you can prepare lovely breakfasts for your loved ones! Price was slightly higher than hotels around it, but its worth it given the room facilities it had. Its about a 10minutes walk from London Paddington, so its very convenient. Only downside was the constant footsteps we heard as our room was located at the basement. Will definitely visit it again!

Just extremely pleasant”
I stay in London quite regularly and gave not seen this hotel appear on my usual lists. Used agoda for the first time and found this. Receptionist was very helpful- she even carried my case to the room! The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed and there was also a 'kitchen in the cupboard!' Strange arrangement with an extension lead, but otherwise super! Will definitely return.

Highly recommend. They had thought of everything. 10/10”
From checking in to checking out everything was outstanding. 👌 Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The apartment was clean, tidy and was spacious. We were in room 20. On our pillows when we arrived there was a chocolate Lindor santa on each pillow (x4). We loved this. ❤ Our room was cleaned during our stay and our bins were emptied, beds were made and fresh towels were provided. We liked how the kitchen was hidden away in a cupboard. There was a fridge, Hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, lots of plates, glasses and cutlery. Plus tea, coffee and cartons of little milks. The hotel provided washing up liquid, surface cleaner and a clean towel daily. There was lots of clothes hangers, a hair dryer, lots of pillows , shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and lots of quilted toilet paper. The beds were really comfortable and we slept well. The tv was in a good position and had a working remote. The room had an air conditioning unit which blew hot and cold air.

Hey Karen, Your review made our day. Reviews like yours are what keeps us going the extra mile to serve better in the future. Regards, Ammy.
Lovely hotel but not a great location”
a bit confused finding the way to the hotel as it is quite far from paddington station (around 15-20mins walk if you know the direction) especially when we were carrying lots of luggages. after arriving to the hotel(Finally), there are some stairs to the entrance which is not very nice after the long walk with those heavy luggages. But the hotel staffs are nice and helpful and the environment and all the facilities in the hotel are nice and fine. we have a nice time staying there and it is a very quite area in London.

Nice hotel and quiet”
Stayed at this hotel for one night. Had asked for an early check in for 11am, but didnt actually get to the room until around 2pm. Left luggage at hotel and went for a walk around the area. The hotel is about 10-15 minute walk from Paddington station, which was great. For those who want to get a taxi from the station, be warned, taxi drivers dont seem to like small journeys and will challenge you why you dont walk to this hotel. Receptionist was very welcoming. The room was downstairs (under street level), so its nice and quiet. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was also spotless and plenty of hot water. The kitchen sink and microwave facility is a great addition to a hotel room i feel, especially to make your own tea with a kettle. Location is 5 minute walk from shops and resteraunts. I would stay here again, but i felt that it was a little overpriced when we stayed there. All in all great place wonderful staff.

Great hotel”
Really nice hotel friendly staff room clean all you could need bed comfy only negative being someone with mobility issues entering the hotel are 3 steps ( the do have a ramp that they can put down for wheelchairs ) I found it tricky to enter / exit as no grab rails . Accessible bathroom great walk in shower but no shower stool or slip mat Which again I found tricky as I was staying for a few weeks I brought one off Amazon . Other than that can’t really fault the hotel the front desk staff have gone out of their way to be helpful and all have been very friendly and approachable.

Almost awesome”
I wanted to love this hotel. When you walk down the street with gorgeous traditional London architecture and enter the hotel, you get pretty excited. However, there are a few things that made this hotel almost awesome but not actually awesome. First, the location is >0.5 mile from public transport and a bit tricky to find (since it blends in so well with otherwise residential street). I know that's not that bad, but with London's famous weather and young kids, this was a bit of a challenge to be so off beaten path. Second, the elevator is just weird. It doesn't actually take you anywhere near your room; rather, it drops you between landings of stairs, and you still have to go up stairs, around, and up some more to get to my room. This was incredibly confusing and tiring after a long flight. Afterwards it wasn't so bad. The room itself was amazing (for London). Super spacious, bright, quiet. Loved it, even though it was more homey than hotel glam. Ultimately, satisfied.

Tiny bathrooms but otherwise really lovely hotel in a great location walking distance to Hyde Park and Paddington Station.

Very good value ”
Good location , rooms larger than average, good internet, mini kitchen in room, reasonable prices via agoda. Things to watch out for: basement rooms have no phone signal. You may need to ask recover ion to switch in the heating they seem to switch if off every morning. I like this hotel ... Very good value, have been there on 3 visits already
