One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in”
I usually am not bothered to write reviews but this hostel was so amazing I just had to write one. The staff, especially the Manager, are exceptionally friendly. They offered me, smokes for free(and others lol) and we drank and played drinking games with the entire staff till 4am one night. The food they serve is good quality and price is decent. (expensive in Vietnam but relatively the same price in Sa Pa). The views from the balcony are amazing, for a hotel to have this this kind of location it should be much more, but for a hostel( which is only 5USD per night) its insane value. If you ever go to Sa Pa you have to stay here if possible, the price is amazing for the value you get.

I would recommend Coong Homestay and Cafe for its quaint interior and service. I loved how it felt so cozy. It did live up to its claim of having a cozy feeling. My friend and I shared a room with two other travelers. We did not mind. The bed we had was a bunk bed, nothing against bunk beds as I enjoy bunk beds but the downside to the bunk beds in the place was that it rocked a lot especially even from slight movements. But apart from that, the place was very clean, staff were really professional and nice, location was just right. We loved it!

Quite an Exercise to Walk to the Square”
To be honest with you, the location is not that good if you plan to walk from the bus station. Yes, it is ''nearer'' to Cat Cat Village but if you want to get back to the center of the Sapa town, it is quite a distance. If you want to stay here, rent a motorbike. Trust me. Been there, done that. No breakfast provided though but they have a cafe where you can have you breakfast or dinner. For the price, I think you can get somewhere else better. Unless if you want to avoid people, this place would be perfect for you.

If you want the views, then it’s worth it. However, I booked 3 bunk beds but when I checked in they said they only have 2 left, so I had to sleep with a friend in one bunk bed. Since it’s a hostel and with a shared bathroom, it was kind of dirty. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned during my 2 days stay and the bedroom floor was always dirty.

Very dirty bathroom and cold. No heating and also the bathroom window is a whole cut out from the wall. Which has no option to close. Lol The restaurant, coffee and breakfast and the view is amazing, but not the rooms. Absolutely not recomend the homestay part of this place.

Worst experience ever ”
I arrived there around 3pm. But unfortunately nobody knew about my reservation and kept me waited more than 30 minutes. Even worse the receptionist didn’t check their system and tell me check my booking status. After that 30 minutes last again and i had to wait again. They prepared room. But it was a complete mess and so dirty. So i had to leave..... to avoid that horrible circumstances. It was my first day in Sapa. But they ruined my day. I will never visit here

Wir haben den Aufenthalt grundsätzlich sehr genossen. Das Homestay war schön eingerichtet und das Personal war freundlich! Ky bemühte sich sehr um unsere Zufriedenheit. Leider waren im ganzen Gebäude deutliche Spuren eines Wasserschadens sichtbar, den man dringendst beheben sollte. Schimmel war nicht wirklich sichtbar, aber man konnte ihn relativ gut riechen!

We hadden 4 bedden in een "slaapzaaltje". Dit kamertje was erg klein en had echt vochtproblemen, het rook er muf en er zaten schimmels op de muren en het plafond. Er was ook geen airco. Er waren 2 gezamenlijke badkamers, erg matig van kwaliteit. Ze waren niet schoon en er lagen allerlei scheer en douche spullen van anderen. Het personeel spreekt matig engels. Men is bezig nieuwe hutjes te bouwen. Deze zien er prima uit en gaan een geweldig uitzicht hebben. Er is dus zeker perspectief voor de toekomst. Het eten en drinken in het restaurant is gewoon goed en de inrichting is echt zeer sfeervol en smaakvol. Het is een mooi gebouwtje en er zijn allerlei mooie terrasjes. Ook de ligging en het uitzicht is prima. We hadden een probleem met een taxi chauffeur en dit werd de door eigenaresse netjes opgelost. We zouden hier in de toekomst zeker weer verblijven maar dan wel in 1 van de nieuwe hutjes met eigen badkamer. Coong ligt op loopafstand van het centrum richten Cat Cat village.

샴푸.수건.생수 기본으로있고요. 이불에냄새엄청좋아요..그리고엄청따뜻함.추위를대비전기난로안에있구요...선풍기.모기장도있지만아직사용할이유가없어서...사장님👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼너무친절..직원들이친절한걸봤어두..사장님이이렇게친절한건처음봤어요....카페도너무이쁘게잘꾸며져있구요.아침에창문열면...뷰가완전장난아니에요.숙소가아기자기하게잘꾸며져있어요.단..샤워실이하나.화장실이하나이긴하지만..저혼자거의사용했어요.정말가격이상의값어치를하는곳이에요.
