Overlooking Morecambe Bay, The Crown Hotel has stylish, modern rooms each with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. There is also a licensed bar open until 22:00 for guests to enjoy. Each room has been furnished to a high standard with contemporary oak furniture. Also included are tea/coffee-making facilities, a seating area and an individual private bathroom. Guests can enjoy sunset views out over the Lakeland Fells from the beach, which is on the hotel door step. Just 5 minutes' walk takes guests to bars, restaurant, shops and Morecambe Rail Station. All rooms are accessed by stairs only as we do not have a lift.

Don't stop here on a Monday”
We booked this hotel because the pictures on the web showed fabulous rooms and it was ideally located in the middle of Morecambe right on the sea front. On the photographs at the entrance to the hotel it had Eat, Drink & Stay and the title of the property is The Crown Bar and Bistro. On arrival a young lady greeted us, took our money & then advised that the hotel was closed on a Monday. No food or drink available but we could use the room. We were then left to our own devices and asked to close the front door when we came in . Upon inspection of the room we found no TV but there was a kettle but no cups/glasses and no means to get any. There was no staff on site and we weren't even given the free wifi code. The room we were given was certainly not like any of the photographs on the website We would therefore not recommend this hotel - especially on a Monday.
