Me and my friend loved our hotel room! Whilst the reception area could do with some work to make it more attractive, the reception staff, especially Philip, were very helpful and kind. The superior room itself was very nice, modern, clean and cosy. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was very nice. During our 3 night stay, the rooms were cleaned every day whilst we were our. The only thing missing from the room I would say is a rail or rack to hang wet clothes. The view from the balcony wasn’t great due to construction works but that cannot be helped. The location was great as it was a 3min walk away from the main area which meant you were away from the noise but still close to shops and restaurants. Room had kettle, new towels every day, AC which worked a treat, iron upon request. Loved our stay, thank you District Hotel

Best value in Malta”
Very happy with the room, the location and price of this hotel. The walls are a little thin and you can hear others in the hotel but we couldn’t get a cheaper hotel and value for money anywhere else.

Comfortable bed”
This hotel is easy to find, not far from the bus station. Even we checked in pretty late, we were greeted by a friendly staff. He provided us with a map and some information on there to go. The area is lively if you are into night life. The hotel is not right inside the busy area so you dont feel the noise. The bed is comfortable and you even have a little balcony.

I had booked (and paid for) a week for my son in this hotel, but unfortunately when he arrived they had no rooms available! In fairness to the hotel, it seems it was not their fault as I booked via a tour operator who offered my a room that simply wasn't available. So, in terms of a review it will be hard to judge the hotel, but what I can say is that the man on reception (Mario?) did his best to help out.

Very good”
Size of room is fine, the location is not bad, as it is not close to the mall and bars and that could be noisy, the hotel is further up to the slop away from the mall so is more quiet. There is a big supermarket nearby only takes about 3 mins of walk. The mall is also within walking distance so there are plenty of choices of restaurants. Breakfast is okay too. The downside is the drainage of the shower was blocked a bit so the floor in the shower area was always wet and always a few centimeters high of water there during shower.

Not recommending ”
Everything is ok and nice very close to Paceville which is the party area. Easy to arrive from the airport with bus TD13 and going back with TD2, bus stop is 5 min walk from the hotel in front on Pendergardens. Just two downside points to mention is in Malta everywhere are constructions undergoing so there is one right in front of your balcony you should be aware of (I wish I knew before) and your room door quality, is very thin so when someone leaves the room or talks on the corridor you'll definitely wake up.

Hot weather without a fridge”
I like to recommend this hotel because the location was good and the closest bus station is only 5 mins away from this hotel. But!!!! only one thing I didn’t like about this hotel was that a fridge didn’t work and I asked a staff about this and he said that is only a mini bar, not a fridge...lol aside from that, everything was good!!!!

The property chosen was extremely good value for money. We were three travellers and the room provided was sufficient for everyone. They had the basic amenities, coffee (no tea provided for some odd reason), kettle shower gel etc. Cleanliness was poor in the sense that the spoons used on may occasions were not swapped over with clean ones the next day, same goes with the cups at times the used ones were left there although new ones were provided. Location nevertheless made up for everything - 5 mins away from major bus links, restaurants as well as shisha/bars. Everything was very close by including a massive supermarket which I found to be very useful. Bowling alley, casino and cinema present at a 2 min walking distance! - Overall a great property and would definitely recommend!

Lovely clean big room, found bathroom to be strange...all glass, no where to hang wet towels, had a shower and found feet in about 1 inch of water due to drain on floor not going down (probably due to hair down there). Found hairdryer in the wrong place (leg hitting toilet). Thought strange that offer coffee but no tea. Staff friendly, great location for bars, beach and restaurants

We checked in at 1:30 AM and Óscar was very helpful and kind, like the all reception staff we met. Superior quadruple room was cosy and clean, with two big double beds, a large bathroom, TV, plugs with converters (exactly as you can see in the images). Very beautiful and modern furniture. The room had AC, a security safe, a mini bar, some nescafe&tea sachets, milk cream, spoons and a kettle. Location is close to the main area, but far enough away to avoid the noise of the night parties. Recommended!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in St. Julian. Viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Saubere Zimmer und nettes Personal bis auf ein Zimmermädchen die frech war.
