Hotel is quite new in every way, in a good location for me personally as my family is based in Happy Valley which is nearby. Very close to all forms of public transport: trams, buses (to airport literally right outside), 10 minutes walk to underground in Causeway Bay. I was assigned a room on the 19th floor with excellent views. Room is comfortable and clean. Carpet and fixtures are new. Air conditioning was very effective. Room has everything I needed. Comfortable bed and good shower. I arrived early at 10:00am but was given a room straight away even though check in time was 14:00. It was such a nice gesture, especially after a 15-hour flight. Thank you and I will definitely stay there again.

We traveled through Hong Kong during the height of the coronavirus, and chose the Emperor because it was new, and figured the ventilation would be super clean and everything in tip top shape. The staff were great and definitely put our minds at ease- everyone in masks, temperature checks, cleaning staff everywhere constantly. The room was very small, typical for Hong Kong, but super nice. We had a great open view, and the bed was extremely comfy! (I want to know where they get their linens, because I was seriously tempted to swipe those sheets!!) Water pressure was great, but on the high floor, took some time to heat up. We were not given any shampoo/conditioner, so had to go out and buy our own. The breakfast was good, but because of the coronavirus situation, no buffet (had to order from a small set menu every day), and not much variety. 2/f roof cafe is so lovely! This was an unbelievable value for money (350/day including breakfast for 2! unheard of in HK!), and will be back.

We loved this hotel. Staff were lovely, it was very clean, and we enjoyed the breakfasts. Value was also very good. It was a great location for us, but that took a few days to appreciate - took time to get our bearings. Excellent!

StayCation at the Emperor”
Due to Covid 19 I had to swap a planned surgery in Bangkok to Hong Kong. I decided that rather that stay at home I would recuperate at the Emperor. From the moment I walked in I was always greeted by extremely helpful and polite staff. Sanny in particular has done everything possible to make my stay as comfortable and painless as possible. I have taken a corner room which is perfect size for me for my 4 to 6 week staycation. Thanks to the staff at the Emperor and the facilities here, I know I will have a successful recuperation from my surgery. Thanks so much Sanny Chan and your staff

Friendly and efficient staff”
Thumbs up for the room service staff who not only tried to call and also check personally if I wanted the room to clean. Moreover, I have left some items in the room and the staff was sharp enough to pass it to the reception. Receptionists were also helpful in catering for late check up and luggage storage. Price wise was definitely affordable at the quieter side of Wanchai/CWB.

Elegant and comfortable hotel”
The hotel is located on the quieter part of Wanchai, a few minutes walk to busy Wanchai Steeet and Hennesy Road, and a short walk to Times Square and the Causeway Bay shopping scene. A17 the bus that goes to the airport passes by the hotel, and so are buses that go to Central and Northpoint (cross the street). I loved my room and its big bay windows. I sat by the window that looked out towards the hills and the winding roads. Watching the traffic below while the sun set was therapeutic. The staff were polite, helpful and very professional. Breakfast was excellent. I booked dinner throught eatigo.com and received a discount.

Prices were great and we really enjoyed our time. Close enough to walk to Central and enjoy all the fun. Breakfast was ok - not outstanding, but good enough. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Very comfortable!

Loved being 5-10 mins walk to Wanchai to Causeway Bay. Gym facilities were limited but excellent, appreciating the bottled water and towels. Buffet was as expected, mix of local & western, no so easy for vegan but generally good. Staff helpful & consistent every time I have stayed (4 times) room very clean and with enough light. Somewhere to put my clothes for when I'm in town 7 days plus would be ideal but overall a good choice of place.

For the price that I am paying (corona virus times), I can't complain much. There is this really nice young man at the front desk who speaks perfect English and knows how to make small talks which gave us a pretty good first impression of the hotel. I hope someone would give him a pay rise or promotion soon. Room is neat and clean, small but sufficient. Don't expect much. Haven't checked out the facilities as most things are closed due to corona virus anyway. It is within walking distance to Causeway Bay, Happy Valley and Wanchai. Pretty cool spot if you are visiting HK side. A bit far from the MTR if you have big suitcases - HK taxi is not that expensive anyway.
